In retrospect, it seems that a lacklustre defeat at Watford in Gameweek 15 has been the making of Everton’s season.

Since that 3-2 loss at Vicarage Road, the Toffees have finally clicked under Ronald Koeman, chalking up five wins and a draw in the subsequent seven league fixtures.

The Dutchman’s decision to roll out a wing-back system has been key to their recent ascent.

Everton have chalked up four clean sheets in the last five Gameweeks, bringing both Seamus Coleman and Leighton Baines onto our radars as the Merseysiders offer the perfect combination of form and fixtures for the foreseeable future.

Identically priced in Fantasy Premier League at 5.6 apiece, and with clashes against Stoke, Bournemouth, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, West Brom and Hull City over the next seven Gameweeks, we assess the Toffees duo’s recent displays as we look for the most appealing route into Koeman’s much-improved rearguard.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

But that will be because of fatigue or something, not because he is on international duty (which he is flagged for now).

Flags are not a definitive fact of 'playability'. I see them as the onus to do my own research. Don't let flags make your decisions, they're just a warning.

With 3xWBA, 2xEVE and 1xBOU I'm I should be able to transition to get a full team (or just short out easily)

      Head says Keep
Heart says sell for Kane and captain Kane next two weeks.
Even if Giroud gets a brace this week you won't captain him, but if Kane gets a goal each in two weeks you will make back 28-30 pts over 2 weeks over max 15 for Giroud .
It's a punt albeit a very calculated one and I'm looking at this.
Think you wanted somebody to say this?

          Do it on Monday ?
          I might .
Everyone on here said hold hazard, wanted to remove for Alli two weeks back . But didn't due to popular opinion.
This season has favoured Gut picks a lot I feel.
Doing this move might be a season changer for mini league chasing in terms of anything from 15-30 pts. I think I'm just convincing myself to do this aren't I ?

Assuming donkey gets a goal plus one bonus, that's 7
Assuming Kane gets a brace with captain that's 24-26 .
Atleast a 15 point gain best case scenario though.
Next week Boro at home, Boro away aren't great at all.
This could be a chunky gain if Kane explodes basically .
Really hard to not see him getting 2 goals in the next 2, also that assist last week helps his assist prospects.
Going to be exciting if I pull this.

This is mental. 'Assuming this, assuming that'.

I assume Welbeck will score 30 goals between now and May. Should I get him in?

Removing hazard two weeks back was mental
I ve heard this all too often.
Not saying I will certainly do this but I'm looking to maximize points even if looks mental.
Two weeks later I have every chance of making more points in the form Kane and Spurs are in .
Or I might not but it's the risk I'm willing to face .
Play your own game mate .

Also Alli has two great games in the next two so it's definitely going to be more than 2 a point difference over a four game stretch .

Also that welbeck analogy was no where relevant .
              Get a check up .
Kane getting two goals in two is highly probable .
This game is played by probable odds.

Whom will you captain if you don't bring Kane in? I think you need to tally Giroud + Sanchez(c) vs Kane(c) + Sanchez as opposed to Giroud vs Kane(c), assuming you captain Sanchez.

              Agreed, nice point .
I thought about this just a few hours back myself and wondered how exactly this might work.
Either way the point is, there is some points to gained...or lost depending on how you play it .
Keeping Giru need not be so straight forward for those playing 3-5-2 like myself and Atimis since Kane, Costa were anyway Giroud replacements next week.

Last week I asked the question. It was landslide in favour of Baines.

One Coleman goal and it changes the other way almost haha

I think it's too close to call. Same as Ali and Eriksen. Pure luck.

Same here. I say always go for the one whose the biggest goal threat. Baines is on penalties and Alli is on fire so it's a easy choice.

    Ibra Kane Defoe

    1.8m itb. 1FT

    A) Defoe to Lukaku -> Leaves 0.0m itb and that rubbish midfield.
    B) Ibra to Kun -> Leaves 0.5m itb and Stan to Zaha/Snodgrass next week.

      Kun doubts hanging I think.
Personally I would hold A since Stan to Zaha for me is a very important transfer . Stan and Phillips will crumble your team in 5 man mid , let alone a 4.
Lukaku Vs Stoke away isn't urgent . Having 2FT next week might change your mind .
As tempted as you might be to take out Defoe , looking bigger I'd hold to make next week s dilemma easier - Get Stan out .

Yes, I'm thinking I'm doing the same. Just stumbled upon Ibra to Luka and Stan to 8.9m mid next. Think that'll be quality. Defoe has Palace and Southampton coming up and so should be ok. Cheers!!

          Exactly

      Wouldn't be getting Stan in.
Bmouth ar struggling for goals even Vs mid placed sides away from home.
This looks good in paper but he will not deliver consistently as long his role in that formation stays constant, he went very wide last week on the right side, zero goal threat.
