The recalled Cesc Fabregas helps steer Chelsea to a 3-1 win over Swansea City. Loan arrival Mamadou Sakho makes an immediate impact on Crystal Palace’s porous defence, while Ryan Fraser impresses once again on the Bournemouth flank.

Here’s the first instalment of our Gameweek 26 teamsheet summary, which also factors in the EFL Cup final, as we outline the trends and tactics on show and offer early insight into the likely lineups for next weekend’s round of fixtures.

Bournemouth

Starting XI: Boruc; A Smith, Cook, Mings, Daniels; Arter (Afobe 66), Surman; Fraser, Wilshere (Gosling 66), Pugh (Mousset 79); King.

  • Eddie Howe made two alterations for the trip to the Hawthorns, with Tyrone Mings and Marc Pugh recalled in place of the injured Simon Francis and Jordon Ibe.
  • Mings started alongside Steve Cook in central defence for the Cherries, while Pugh played on the left of the attacking midfield trio in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Josh King once again started as the lone striker.
  • With his side trailing 2-1, Howe brought on Dan Gosling and Benik Afobe in place of Harry Arter and Jack Wilshere. Gosling joined Andrew Surman at the base of midfield, while Afobe played as the lone striker, seeing King drop back into the No 10 role vacated by Wilshere. Lys Mousset was handed a rare appearance late on in a straight swap for Pugh.
  • Howe will be desperate to have Francis (hamstring) available for Saturday’s trip to Old Trafford, but he remains a major doubt, so Mings may keep his place in the side. Elsewhere, the likes of Gosling and Afobe, in particular, could push for recalls, with King and Wilshere both able to play in different positions. Ibe missed out due to a knee problem last weekend but, if fit, could come into contention to replace Pugh in the starting XI. Stanislas has now been an unused substitute in the last three matches as he remains seemingly out of favour.

Current Status: Slightly Unsettled
Risk Areas: Central Defence, Central Midfield, Flanks, Attacking Midfield, Lone Striker

Burnley

Starting XI: Heaton; Lowton, Keane, Mee, Ward; Boyd, Barton, Westwood (Tarkowski 85), Brady (Arfield 90); Barnes, Gray (Vokes 85).

  • Burnley manager Sean Dyche named the same starting XI that drew 1-1 against Chelsea for the trip to the KCOM Stadium.
  • Dyche set up his team in more of a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Ashley Westwood and Joey Barton forming the double-pivot, while George Boyd (right), Ashley Barnes (No 10) and Robbie Brady (left) offered support to lone striker Andre Gray.
  • Dyche made all three substitutions late on, with James Tarkowski, Sam Vokes and Scott Arfield replacing Westwood, Gray and Brady in straight swaps.
  • After being sent off for picking up two yellow cards, Barnes will miss Saturday’s match against Swansea City due to a one-match suspension. Vokes may earn a recall, then, which could see the Clarets start with a 4-4-2 formation. Steven Defour (hamstring) and Johann Berg Gudmundsson (knee) remain doubts ahead of the trip to south Wales.

Current Status: Settled
Risk Areas: Forwards

Chelsea

Starting XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Cahill; Moses (Zouma 85), Kante, Fabregas, Alonso; Pedro (Matic 76), Diego Costa, Hazard (Willian 85).

  • Antonio Conte only made one adjustment for the visit of Swansea City to Stamford Bridge, with Cesc Fabregas recalled in place of Nemanja Matic.
  • Fabregas joined N’Golo Kante in central midfield in the Blues’ usual 3-4-3 formation.
  • With Chelsea holding a slender 2-1 lead, Conte decided to bring on Matic in place of Pedro for the final 14 minutes, allowing Fabregas to play slightly further forward. Then, after taking a 3-1 lead, the Chelsea boss brought on Kurt Zouma and Willian for Victor Moses and Eden Hazard in straight swaps.
  • While Fabregas was very impressive against the Swans, he may still find himself demoted to the bench for next Monday’s trip to the London Stadium, with Matic perhaps set to earn a recall. Pedro has started five of the last six league matches and is expected to keep his starting spot, but Willian remains an alternative on the right.

Current Status: Settled
Risk Areas: Central Midfield, Right Wing

Crystal Palace

Starting XI: Hennessey; Ward, Tomkins, Sakho, van Aanholt (Schlupp 88); Milivojevic, Puncheon; Townsend, Cabaye (McArthur 63), Zaha (Dann 88); Benteke.

  • Sam Allardyce made two changes for the home encounter against Middlesbrough, with Mamadou Sakho and Yohan Cabaye starting in place of Damien Delaney and James McArthur.
  • Making his Palace debut, Sakho partnered James Tomkins in central defence. In what was a 4-1-4-1 formation for the home side, Cabaye started alongside Jason Puncheon in the centre of the park, with Luka Milivojevic stationed in the defensive midfield role.
  • Allardyce’s first change saw McArthur come on in place of Cabaye in a straight swap shortly after the hour mark. Then, as the home side looked to hold onto their 1-0 lead, the Palace boss decided to bring on Scott Dann and Jeffrey Schlupp in place of Wilfried Zaha and Patrick van Aanholt. That saw Palace end the match in more of a 5-1-3-1 system.
  • After finding the winning formula, Allardyce isn’t likely to make many changes for the trip to The Hawthorns on Saturday. After returning from injury, Dann could challenge for a start alongside Sakho in central defence, with Tomkins perhaps an option to replace Joel Ward at right-back. McArthur offers a viable alternative in central midfield, but he may have to settle for a place on the bench once more.

Current Status: Fairly Settled
Risk Areas: Right-Back, Central Defence, Central Midfield

Everton

Starting XI: Robles; Coleman, Funes Mori, Williams, Baines; Schneiderlin, Gueye; Barkley (McCarthy 82), Davies (Valencia 70), Lookman (Mirallas 60); Lukaku.

  • Ronald Koeman named an unchanged starting XI for the visit of Sunderland to Goodison Park.
  • The Everton boss stuck with the 4-3-2-1 formation, then, with Idrissa Gueye and Tom Davies playing in advance of holding midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin. Ademola Lookman and Ross Barkley started in the attacking midfield positions behind lone striker Romelu Lukaku.
  • Koeman decided to make a change just before the hour-mark, with the fit-again Kevin Mirallas introduced in place of Lookman in a straight swap. Enner Valencia then came on for Davies, seeing the home side switch to more of a 4-2-3-1, with Valencia and Mirallas flanking Barkley in the No 10 role. Then, after taking a 2-0 lead, Koeman made a slightly defensive change, with James McCarthy brought on to shore up the midfield in place of Barkley.
  • Following another strong performance, Koeman isn’t expected to make many changes for Sunday’s trip to White Hart Lane. Mirallas or Valencia could challenge Lookman for a starting spot alongside Barkley in the attacking midfield positions, but the youngster has started the last three matches and impressed. The likes of McCarthy and Gareth Barry may have to settle for places on the bench once again.

Risk Areas: Central Midfield, Attacking Midfield

Hull City

Starting XI: Jakupovic; Elabdellaoui (Hernandez 82), Ranocchia, Maguire, Robertson; Elmohamady, Huddlestone, N’Diaye, Grosicki; Maloney (Meyler 67); Mbokani (Niasse 67).

  • Marco Silva made three alterations for the home clash against Burnley, with Shaun Maloney recalled in place of the suspended Sam Clucas, while Ahmed Elmohamady and Dieumerci Mbokani came in for Oumar Niasse and the injured Lazar Markovic.
  • Maloney operated in the No 10 role for the Tigers in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Elmohamady stationed on the right of the attacking midfield trio. Mbokani was utilised as the hosts’ lone striker.
  • With the match goalless, Silva turned to David Meyler and Niasse off the bench, with Maloney and Mbokani the players brought off. Meyler played in a deeper midfield role than Maloney, which allowed Alfred N’Diaye the chance to push slightly further forward. Then, with the match level again at 1-1, Silva threw on Abel Hernandez as a final roll of the dice in place of Omar Elabdellaoui. The substitute joined Niasse in attack, while Meyler and Elmohamady operated at right-back and right wing respectively in a 4-4-2 formation.
  • Markovic missed out with a knock picked up in training ahead of the match, but is likely to be in contention against Leicester City on Saturday. He could challenge Elmohamady for a place on the right wing, then, with the Egyptian and Elabdellaoui set to battle it out for the starting spot at right-back. Harry Maguire played through a knee injury against the Clarets and will need to be assessed this week. Clucas will be back from suspension, so he could vie for a start in central midfield, while Evandro may be an option to replace Maloney if he recovers from a calf injury. Silva also has plenty of options to choose from in attack, with either Niasse or Hernandez likely to push for a start in place of Mbokani.

Current Status: Unsettled
Risk Areas: Right-Back, Central Defence, Central Midfield, Flanks, Attacking Midfield, Lone Striker

Manchester United

Starting XI: De Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Smalling, Rojo, Herrera, Pogba, Lingard (Rashford 77), Mata (Carrick 46), Martial (Fellaini 90), Ibrahimovic.

  • Jose Mourinho made two changes from the side that beat Watford 2-0 for the EFL Cup final against Southampton, with Marcos Rojo replacing Daley Blind, while Jesse Lingard came in for the injured Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
  • Rojo slotted in at left-back for United, while Lingard started on the right of the attacking midfield trio in the 4-2-3-1 formation, which saw Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba combine at the base of midfield.
  • But following a patchy first half performance, Mourinho decided to bring on Michael Carrick in place of Juan Mata at half-time. That change saw United switch to a 4-3-3, with Carrick playing just behind Herrera and Pogba in central midfield. Marcus Rashford was brought on for Lingard in a straight swap for the final 13 minutes, then, after taking a 3-2 lead, Mourinho made a defensive move, with Marouane Fellaini replacing Anthony Martial for the final few minutes.
  • Rojo was a surprise inclusion at left-back yesterday, but after a lacklustre performance, Mourinho may consider handing a recall to Blind for Saturday’s home clash with Bournemouth. If he sticks with the 4-2-3-1, Carrick is unlikely to earn a recall, with Rashford, and certainly Mkhitaryan – if he recovers from a hamstring problem – options to start in the attacking midfield positions. Wayne Rooney could also be an alternative should Mourinho looks to freshen up his starting XI.

Current Status: Fairly Settled
Risk Areas: Left-Back, Central Midfield, Flanks

Middlesbrough

Starting XI: Valdes; Ayala, Bernardo, Gibson; Fabio, De Roon, Forshaw (Guedioura 61), Ramirez, Downing; Negredo (Gestede 46), Stuani (Traore 79).

  • Aitor Karanka made three changes from the side that drew 0-0 against Everton for the trip to Selhurst Park, with Daniel Ayala, Stewart Downing and Gaston Ramirez starting at the expense of Adam Clayton, Adama Traore and the injured Calum Chambers.
  • Those switches saw the ‘Boro boss switch from a 4-3-3 system to a 3-5-2. Ayala joined Bernardo Espinosa and Ben Gibson in the three-man defence, with Fabio and Downing operating as wing-backs. Ramirez came in alongside Marten de Roon and Adam Forshaw in central midfield, with Cristhian Stuani and Alvaro Negredo combining up front.
  • But heading into half-time 1-0 down, Karanka decided to introduce Rudy Gestede in place of Negredo in a straight swap. Then, just after the hour mark, Forshaw made way for Adlene Guedioura in central midfield, while his final substitution saw Traore come on for Stuani.
  • With the change in formation not paying off for Karanka, he may revert back to a 4-3-3 for Saturday’s trip to the bet365 Stadium. Chambers (knock) and George Friend (knee) may both be able to return against Stoke City, which would increase the chances of a return to a four-man defence. Ayala and Downing could both drop back to the bench, then, while in midfield, Guedioura and Clayton offer viable alternatives, with Forshaw’s place in the starting XI perhaps at risk. The change to a 4-3-3 could also see Traore earn a recall, while the half-time substitution involving Negredo and Gestede suggests the latter could be handed a start against the Potters.

Current Status: Unsettled
Risk Areas: Full-Backs, Wing-Backs, Central Defence, Central Midfield, Flanks, Forwards

Southampton

Starting XI: Forster, Cedric, Stephens, Yoshida, Bertrand, Ward-Prowse, Romeu, Davis (Rodriguez 90), Redmond, Gabbiadini (Long 83), Tadic (Boufal 77).

  • Claude Puel kept faith in the same side that beat Sunderland 4-0 for the EFL Cup final against Manchester United.
  • The Saints boss rolled out the 4-3-3 formation once again, then, with Nathan Redmond and Dusan Tadic flanking central striker Manolo Gabbiadini.
  • Puel’s first substitution saw Sofiane Boufal replace Tadic in a straight swap. Shane Long was then brought on to provide fresh legs in place of Gabbiadini, while after falling 3-2 behind, the Saints boss threw on Jay Rodriguez for Steven Davis in search of a late equaliser, seeing Southampton end the match in more of a 4-2-4 formation.
  • While Puel does have some options in midfield and on the flanks, we saw the Saints boss arguably select his strongest starting XI at Wembley. So unless he wants to freshen up his side for Saturday’s trip to Vicarage Road, the likes of Boufal, Long, Rodriguez and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg may have to settle for places on the bench once again.

Even as a United fan who desperately wants those competing for a top 4 spot to keep dropping points, I'd love nothing more than Pool going out and hammering them.

Hope they gat absolutley panned. Ranieri is a true gentleman and its well known that the players have screwed over the very same manager who had made history with them and developed them into the team that won the prem.

      Disgraceful.

If city go through would you do:
    A) Costa > Kun
    B) Costa and Alli > Kun and sterling -4

    Jaku
    Alonso walker Brunt
    Mane Alli Siggy Phillips
    Lukaku Costa Defoe

    Pickford Evans Smith Deroon

      A

Or the Lukaku switch to Aggers. I don't fancy Lukaku to score at WHL where as Costa away to WHam is a nice fixture.

I have to say I am very surprised to see many here (mostly experienced FFSers) not only going for Kun but considering giving him the TC chip for GW27.

    1) He is not 100% guaranteed to start both games with the congestion of fixtures and Pep being Pep. I can see him rested for the home match against Stoke as they have Monaco away in midweek followed by Liverpool in EPL 3 days later.
    2) He is not on penalties
    3) Terrible fixtures after the blank in GW 28.
    4) His ownership is not enough to hurt in case of a haul anyway
    5) His involvement in City goals is low and he has no form (2 CL goals in a crazy game not enough). In 7 EPL games since he returned from the ban , he has 1 goal, 1 assist and 5 blanks. 1 assist in 4 games where he played 90,90,90 and 76 minutes so it is not at all just about Jesus taking his spot (tough fixtures I agree but that usually doesn't matter with fixture proof Kun does it)

Honestly I'd be worried to even captain him let alone give him TC. I see it as a huge risk when Kane, Ibra and Sanchez have DGWs to come. All 3 are guaranteed to play 90 mins every game, the talismen of their teams (unlike Kun) and have penalties (including Sanchez imo who is challenging for golden boot). They are the prime candidates to win the golden boot actually. Also Ibra has Bournemouth at home in GW27 and Kane with a home game as well (apart from the consecutive blanks in festive period, he has been phenomenal at home).

I see it madness to drop Ibra, Kane or Lukaku to get Kun in and taking hits back and forth in the process. I can understand dropping Costa who is not explosive and has a blank in GW28 but that if you are desperately chasing. For me Sterling is enough City cover. TC is a bit too far.

They have a cushion in that CL game, what's stopping Pep going for a false 9 in that game with Aguero on the bench and seeing out the tie?

A slim one. Monaco are a very attacking team and can beat City by a 2 goal cushion. They should have done so in the first game if they weren't naive.

      Im considering getting and TC
actually I think he's only worth getting if your going to TC him

      Why
2 prime fixtures, I was stung last year holding back and then had no decent options so had to go with Carroll

Any dgw player is a rotation risk , just by the nature of whst they are

      Pens ...he might be

Form ...it's Aguero class is permanent. Personally I have no worries about him delivering if he gets the opportunity

I think he's about as good as we're going to get with those prime fixtures

      Don't care about fixtures after , it's a 1 week deal then he's out

      I see it as:

      1) Almost ideal fixtures.
      2) Should get most of both games.
      3) Only real striker option (Nacho not in favour).
      4) He's just had a good CL game (how can you discount that?)
      5) It's still Aguero.

        6) City in the race for top 4 (can't afford to drop points)
        7) People talk about dgwk 37 but don't forget there's bench boost for that!

I was very much so in a similar frame of mind. Then I watched Stoke and Sunderland defend.

Kun isn't in great form, I agree and I won't be giving him the TC, but at this stage in the season I need to take a lot of risks. My rank is crap, nothing conservative I do has worked, even the weeks when I'm significantly over the average I don't gain much ground. Kun in for Lukaku then back out for Lukaku in 28 is the plan if the double goes ahead. If it doesn't, then Kun has a 28 fixture with Stoke, so will keep him for that. No hits involved.

Personally I have Ibra and Kane as my strikers so no way I am selling any of them for him. Depends on who you have and how desperate you are 🙂 . I just had a huge rank jump from kane (c) and I will cover myself by getting Sterling for Phillipswith my FT probably.

I think that's fair, I actually had a debate the other day making the same argument you have (especially the 1 goal and 1 assist). When I realised I could afford him, assuming DGW goes ahead and without hits, I reckoned I'm as well to take the gamble on him.

The only reason you have convinced yourself kun is a poor move is your fear of selling kane or Ibra.

He the best goalscorer in premier league history in terms of minutes per goal and while you say he is different this season I say he had had these droughts before under pelle and mancini the same as kane, Ibra, kaku and costa have had barren runs this season.

Kun is one of those few times in a season you get a chance to steal a March on noobs as they will likely not get him or tc him.

You can lie to yourself if it makes you feel better but don't try to justify it in a public forum

As it happens I have Lukaku to Aguero as an option and that's what I'll likely do. With a switch back in GW28.

You and I have been in the same camp all season. People don't seem to see a change in fortunes for Aguero. He is not Aguero of Mancini and Pellegrini. Pep doesn't like him and it is so obvious. He will probably ship him out in the summer. As I said I can understand taking the risk to remove Costa for him for free. But TC, takng hits back and forth, thats just not worth it. As you said, you will have to sell again before GW28. These 2 transfers to get him and then sell him=8 points (even if they are FTs) With the amount of blanks in GW28, I can't see anyone with a decent squad not taking a hit already.

Yeah. Actually I have taken no hits and I'm not sure I will, I have 2FTs in hand. Team is well enough set for GW28, I will have 10. If I decide to take 2 City players that will be 1 hit in total. If I take Aguero only it will be no hits.

To be perfectly honest it has been Spurs that have been defining my good and bad gameweeks. I only have Alli so when Spurs are poor my OR rises and when they do very well it falls.

It was those GW16/17 games that threw me with Kane. I captained him both times for 2-pointers in juicy home fixtures and he didn't even look dangerous. Unfortunately he bounced back pretty much as soon as I had removed him. 🙁

Same for me with Kane in GW16 and 17 but then he just exploded and was a differential in my ML where I am chasing so I got him again. I have 3 Spurs and intend to keep at least 2. Their home fixtures are unbelievable. Kane is a must, apart from GW16,17 look at his home returns. Messi/Ronadlo-esque

Pretty much defines my last 10 weeks or so. Those two Kane games really altered my opinion about him. In years to come I will still look back and wonder how he didn't get me returns with BUR HUL.

And on the same wavelength re the dgwks. Have 2 frees - will get Aguero - just not comfortable with the TC.

If I didn't have other fires to put out maybe I would have been tempted. I have Alonso, Kane, Walker, Ibra (maybe) who I want to keep for GW28, weak bench in Whelan and Anichebe and now Phillips a doubt (and I am fed up with him anyway). I only have 1 FT. A City player seems a luxury to me now. Would you agree?

I thnk dgwks are special, especially when it comes to captaincy and players who are capable of big hauls.

For me Aguero and Sterling are a given that week. I'll be removing Alli and Lukaku for free to do that.

If I end up getting both back in for a hit the following week so be it.

I'm like Ruth and have 2 ft and well stocked for GWK 28 - albeit with a few iffy ones like Philips.

But I still think its worth taking advantage of a dgwk.

Dgwks over the seasons have been such an incredible way to boost ranks - remember that Rooney (c) 64 pter. Those Dempsey goals and last season the Aguero and Sanchez TC week.

Then we are actually very similar, I had exactly those two moves planned (though I'm still considering Sané rather than Sterling).

What has me thinking twice is the idea of losing all Spurs cover, Alli is my only one and I bought at 8.1m. I need a little cash for the Lukaku to Aguero move but I could also find that by switching Phillips to King. That's an alternative I'll be looking at.

                    I like King too.

Luxury hit moves I wish I'd made weeks ago were

                    Evans - McAuley
                    Stanislas - King

With GWK 29 fixture turn fast approaching I've missed the boat now to do both. May still get King though - good fifth mid on current evidence.

If Kane had Burnley(H) and Hull(H) as fixtures, even when he was playing as terribly as he was, you'd still get him in and captain him for a DGW. Not different at all with Aguero. Go without, but be aware, that the ceiling for damage is very very high. TC I'm not sure, but getting and captaining is definitely worth a max of 4 points.

City will have FA Cup quarters (if they progress) before the Monaco second leg. Think he'll play both league games and get a rest in the Cup.

    10. MTPockets
        9 years, 1 month ago

Think you need to assess things from Spurs game on. City seemed to turn things around there - certainly looked changed when watching it.

Who will Pep start instead if winning is imperative? Involvement and form related to suspensions/injury, Jesus/bench, overall team performance and Aguero's own drive. First two not valid atm, last two are the real questions.

Personally the fixtures, team attacking form and his ending goal/assist famine swing it for me. So much so that will probably TC given likely future DGW fixtures and unkown alternative form.

I think it's wise getting Aguero in for the DGWK, Personally I'm still debating the TC myself! The decision it rests on is when Arsenal will have their dgwk and whether Sanchez will have tastier fixtures then Stoke and Sunderland!.. I'm also considering double a double up of Sterling and Aguero

Back when James Milner was at Villa he was actually a good dgwk captaincy choice.

He got injured within the first 20 mins of the first match and since then has never been fully trusted again by many.

For me Defoe (Costa/Lukaku) > Aguero is easy, my only debate is whether to TC him or not, I think you make your point well but your mistake on the CL game is significant, a week on allows Pep to play Aguero in both if he so sees fit.
I will certainly gamble on the (c) but whether or not I'll stretch to the triple will depend if he gets rested V Huddersfield, I think if he does we're half way there.

I do not see why your arguments are any better than other people's guesswork. Here are my arguments as to why he should be played and TC'd.

        1) He has started every game for City in the league, except the ones where he was just injured or the ones where Jesus was available. If, however, he is benched and plays 30 mins in one of the games, it is surely better to TC a quality player who plays 120 mins than one who plays 90? City also has a lead of 2 goals for the second Monaco leg, meaning that the chance of them playing a false nine would be greater in that game, as Pep likes to do that when wanting to dominate the midfield.

        2) He is not on penalties, but when he is on penalties he is a risk of penalty misses and minus points. So I am calmer when I know that Yaya will score penalties, and Aguero will potentially get an assist for attaining the penalty.

        3) Why are the fixtures after GW28 important for a GW27 TC? I wil swap between quality strikers, depending on who's in form, and who's not. And if that means I have to change him for Lukaku after GW27, why not?

        4) Ownership is relative when worrying about losing out. Most of those who own him are quite far down the list. I haven't seen any of my closest competitors in the top 100k with Aguero in their team during GW26. So all the talk about ownership should be changed to "relative ownership", and seeing how many in the top 1mill who own a player.

        5) Form is probably your best point here. However, he is finally given several games in a row, and I would rather stick to him for two games and be happy with a single goal, than not giving him the chance and hope for other DGWs than GW37 coming up.

Your summary also does not take into account that most of those going for Aguero now will BB in GW37. Show me a better option of TC outside of GW37, and I might consider buying into your arguments.

        Ta-ta for now.

          1. Plain wrong. He has been dropped multiple times this season when uninjured. And personally I want 180 minutes from a TC.
          2. First time I have ever seen someone present a player not being on penalties as an advantage. That's bizarre really.
          3. The fixtures after GW27 are important for any player you bring in for GW27 I'd have thought. FPL isn't a daily fantasy game.
          4. It is usual to refer to top 10k ownership hereabouts. That's who most of us are competing with.
          5. If your BB obsession prevents you from optimising the TC that's your lookout I guess. 😕

      Eriksen, Haz, Siggy, Phillips, Stan
      Niasse, Ibra, Lukaku

      A) Niasse + Haz > Kun + Snoddy (-4)
      B) Stanislas > Sterling

      D) Hazard > Sterling
      E) Lukaku + Haz > Kun + Sterling (-4)

You should ask everyone else here too - they know loads! 🙂

Lets wait for the DGW to be announced but that sounds a bit much

Tottenham v Everton is usually low scoring, (0-0 at WHL last season), 2 games in 2016 ended 1-1, 5 goals in the 4 games before that when you look further back

Probably doing Diomande, Alli -> Aguero, 6.8mid
          Which 6.8mid to go for?
          Snodgrass?

          A) Ibra to Aguero
          B) Zaha and Lukaku to King and Aguero (following gw Aguero back to Lukaku) -4
          C) Eriksen and Lukaku to Sterling and Lukaku -4 and then Lukaku back for gw 28.
0.1 short just to do Lukaku to Aguero :/
A would give me 8 and Stanislas for gw 28.

Yes. Im 2nd in my ML league 11p behind leader. He has Sterling and if they have DGW it can hurt me a lot not having him. Probably hes getting Ibra to Kun if dgw.

Not a great week, likely to lose my ML lead for the first time in quite a while if Mane gets in on the action...

So, looking ahead (assuming City beat Hudders, but not planning moves before Wednesday night), I've only six GW28 players at the mo, and just Pieters with a possible DGW...hit(s) must be taken - any ideas? :

          Heaton (swa)
Alonso (whu) Coleman (tot) Brunt (CPL) Pieters (MID mci)
Hazard (whu) Alli (EVE) Eriksen (EVE)
Ibrahimovic (BOU) Costa (whu) Lukaku (tot)

Pickford (MCI) Phillips (CPL) de Roon (stk) Smith (mun)

          1 FT 0.2 ITB
          A. Costa Hazard > Aguero Sterling
          B. Lukaku Hazard > Aguero Sané (keep Costa for whu...but reluctant to move Kak)
          C. Hazard Phillips > Sané Sterling
          D. Anything else?

          Cheers

C looks nice in that you keep Lukaku and Costa but I'd be reluctant to go without Aguero.

            I'd do A

Yeah, A is certainly the easiest move...though feels strange considering both Costa and Haz out for a hit!
One other consideration is that my ML rival fortunately already has Sterling in the bank...feel like I need to cover that over a double game week... The silver lining of his maverick move to Kane this week is that he took out Ibra, so hoping Zlat could be a differential in my favour!

Cheers, what do you think my GW 28 priorities should be? Thinking :

27 Costa Hazard > Aguero Sterling
28 Sterling Alli/Eriksen > Siggy Firmino (0.3 short of Mane...)
              29 Aguero > Kane

              27
              Heaton (swa)
Alonso (whu) Coleman (tot) Brunt (CPL) Pieters (MID mci)
Sterling (sun STK) Alli (EVE) Eriksen (EVE)
Aguero (sun STK) Ibrahimovic (BOU) Lukaku (tot)

              28
              Heaton (swa)
Coleman (WBA) Brunt (eve) Smith (WHU)
Siggy (hul) Firmino (BUR) Phillips (eve)
              Lukaku (WBA)

risky bringing in more than one city players considering the fact that you have only 6 players for gw28, am in the same dilemma and am getting kun alone, then I'll replace him with kaku on gw 28

Alonso, Holebas, Van Aanholt, Yoshida, AMAT

          A'noon. A little help... 1FT, 1.9 ITB

          Foster - Jaku
          Alonso - Brunt - Baines - Holgate - Chambers
Haz - Alli - Siggy - Phillips - De Roon
          Ibra - Kane - Luka

To get in Kun & Sterling, who is best to lose:
          A - Kane & Alli
          B - Kane & Haz
          C - Luka and Haz

Thinking A as don't fancy the Luka hokey-cokey
