I am a Fantasy Football manager, and I’m addicted to double Gameweeks. It’s a confession that the ScoutCast team are all too eager to admit in this latest ScoutCast episode.

Recorded prior to the confirmation of the first double Gameweek of the season, we were nonetheless correctly counting our chickens and allowing your multitude of community questions on Manchester City assets to steer the chatter.

Granville rejoined Jonty, Andy and myself to reinforce our investigation in Pep’s charges and to add his views to the heated Triple Captain debate surrounding Sergio Aguero. Yes, him again.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link or the first player below, or take in the full visual experience, pastry and all, via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

So sterling and kun to rise again for a sneaky .1?

Unlikely, unless they do very well on Sunday and everyone panics to bring them in.

Christ, if Aguero does as well as Gabbiadini with a fixture missing he'll probably rise all the way up to GW29

Has there been any analysis on when the TC chip could be better used? Sanchez is the main culprit I guess but what will his fixtures look like?

Check out the podcast (this podcast!) other DGWs depends on what happens in the cup. Fixtures might not fall as kindly.

Sunderland and Stoke are much better than when he scored 22 pts against them early this season.

Since Aguero was subbed vs Huddersfield I feel he's a dead cert to start vs Sunderland, but what do we think his % chance of starting vs Stoke is?

I'd be happy with him playing 120 minutes over the two fixtures. I think he'll actually get more than this, though.

Depends on how City do against Sunderland. If they are 3-0 or more up and cruising then he will start. If it turns into a battle I can see him being rested against Stoke. Really need an early goal for Man City in the Sunderland game to open up the floodgates IMO.

Considering Iheanacho didn't play in a lot of games he was fit for when there was no other striker, I'd say it's about 99%

    GTG?
    Whelan/Phillips my big decision..
8 players next GW- no hit (Lukaku back in).

    Heaton.
    Walker, Alonso, Brunt.
    Mane, Whelan, Snodgrass, Siggy.
    Aguero (TC), Ibra, Kane.

    Pickford, Phillips, Amat, Funes Mori.

    0ft, 0.5m.

differential... seen an opportunity and went for it..

(Nah - bought him about 10 GW's ago and considering giving him his 1st start- Moving well in training and he says he is ready to step up).

        1. MTPockets

True and doubt Phillips will play. But Whelan has 0 goals, 1 assist across 3 seasons.

    Alonso - Walker - Coleman - Pieters(x2)
    J. King - Mane - Siggy
    Kane - Kun(C)(x2) - Zlatan

    (Jaku - Phillips - Evans - Capoue)

Plan is to downgrade one of those big 3 strikers to Lukaku next GW and then upgrade Phillips or King t Sanchez in GW29 to get back to some sort of normal looking team 🙂

Shall I just do Lukaku to Kun this week, then back again the week after?
Have 2FT so can save those for sorting out GW28.

    Pickford (NoGW28) Grant (NoGW28)
Coleman Pieters (NoGW28) Holebas (NoGW28) Amat McAuley
Alli (NoGW28) Mane Eriksen (NoGW28) Phillips Capoue (NoGW28)

I'd get Benteke out rather than Lukaku to save the waste of a transfer and to get a dud out.

Benteke and Ali to Aguero and Sterling or if you can't afford then to Josh King.

    Should I personally TC Aguero?

OR is at 1.075 mil. OR is what I play for. Don't have my WC but I'll probably have Ibra, Sanchez and maybe Kane and many others with the FTs I'll use until then by the time their DGWs come around. Have my BB.

Not at all. Jesus doesn't inspire me with the same confidence Agüero does, not to mention with an alternative rotation could have been much more likely. Would just have gone with Sterling (C) and Sane then.

I would already have owned Jesus, would have captained him (but not TC) and I would be about 12 points better off just from the lack of hits.

Hi guys, first time commenting on the site. i wanted to hear different views about this issue. I have got phillips in the squad and 2.6M in the bank. Now the dilemma is Sterling or Siggy for the next gameweek? I could do Sterling this week and then Sterling ----> Siggy next week but that would mean taking a -4 hit as i am already planning to get in Fraser. Or i could do go Siggy from this week (i love him playing versus Burnley at home) and it would also mean next week i don't need to take any hits! Hope i have been clear enough as i am not from an English speaking country! Cheers peeps

I have the same issue my friend - it's tough as Siggy is 100% nailed on, and with City's upcoming fixture schedule + Pep's tendency to rotate it's not clear if Sterling will start both games.

so frustrating with Pep I hate him (i had Aguero captain versus Swansea at home and he played 10 mins arghhhh). Siggy home versus burnley feels so good!!!!! What are you doing? Siggy or Sterling?

Can you get both for a minus 4.

i know, I would be happy to do -8 to get both but i can only stretch as far as Sane but i am not fully convinced about him(especially over Siggy)! By the way the team is this 2.6 ITB:

        Grant
        Coleman, brunt, Mcauley
        Eriksen, Mane, Phillips, Barkley, Capoue
        Kaku, Kane, Aguero

I'd do Erik to sterling personally.

mmmm interisting view. I could go with it. Only downside is i have had Erik for ages (since he cost 8.1) so when i will get him back he will cost me 0.3 plus the -4 to sell him. Thanks for your feedback. Appreciated!

You'll want a city player for this week. If you don't have aguero you should make getting sterling a priority.

Do you have to get fraser?

Man I am stuck at 50k in the world and i feel like Fraser could be a good differential to push me up. Swansea and West ham at home so tasty. Obviuosly after those matches he would be my 5th mid. But yeah i thought about not getting him and just get Siggy for free next week but missing Siggy this week against Burnley is burning me inside ahhhahah. Oh well hopefully tonight i will find the inspiration ;). Thanks everyone for the replies!

250,000 is not that bad, and I would not want to Triple Captain de Bruyne.

TC Aguero is enough for an OR of 250k. Just do that

Next week the average should be around 25, even if you get 50 you won't make a huge dent on the rankings. Whereas this week you could be looking at a triple figure score in a 60 average GW.

            Ah same as meshelf so!

Lanzini is some man for one man, potentially a better footballer than fpl prospect? Not a bad fpl prospect, but I own Antonio so I'm biased 😉

Manuel will go far in this life anyway if he keeps on keeping on, lovely to watch.

      Ibra, Kane, Lukaku for me.

Will look to downgrade Lukaku to Gab once Everton's fixtures tail off and the doubles roll around
