I am a Fantasy Football manager, and I’m addicted to double Gameweeks. It’s a confession that the ScoutCast team are all too eager to admit in this latest ScoutCast episode.

Recorded prior to the confirmation of the first double Gameweek of the season, we were nonetheless correctly counting our chickens and allowing your multitude of community questions on Manchester City assets to steer the chatter.

Granville rejoined Jonty, Andy and myself to reinforce our investigation in Pep’s charges and to add his views to the heated Triple Captain debate surrounding Sergio Aguero. Yes, him again.

    A) Lukaku + Alli -> Kun + Sane (0.2 off Sterling)

    B) Lukaku + Alli -> Kun + Siggy.

    B is safe and saves me a transfer for 28 (I'll be bringing Lukaku + Siggy in). A is exciting, and gives someone to provide the passes for Aguero's goals (TC).

      They are equivalent. Both play two games over the next two weeks. Depends on which one you want to hold on to longer.

        Since I'll be bringing Siggy in for GW28 for Sane if I don't buy Siggy this week then isn't it 3 games over the next 2 weeks versus 2? Then factoring in the 4 points for the hit it takes to make the switch in GW28.

          No, because it allows you to bring someone else in GW 28 with Siggy already in your team. It's 3 games either way. If you don't want to bring in anyone else, then do Sane to Siggy, but they are equivalent games wise. It's your judgement of points that should decide your transfers.

    Best week to get kaku out and get in next week, for me atleast.

    His price went up once to 10.0, that let me sell him for 9.9. Now its going to drop to hopefully 9.8 before deadline.

    So, possibly kun(tc) gives me 40+ points(with hits considered) and make a profit of 0.1

    Also, kun rising twice will give another 0.1 profit

    For those bringining in Sane for a -4 isn't bringing in Siggy over him more sensible?

    1 - They both have 2 fixtures over the next 2 weeks.

    2 - For me Siggy is more likely to score points vs are gw 27 Burnley (Home) and gw 28 Swansea (Away

    vs

    Sane -gw 27 Sun (away) and gw 27 Stoke (home)

    3 - Siggy is nailed whilst Sane is prone to rotation.

    Thoughts?

      The precise dilemma I'm facing. The way I see it, since I'll be getting Siggy in for Sane in 28 if I don't get him in 27, its:

      Siggy (hul) + 4 OR Sane (sun, STK).

    Questioning TC.

    What makes Aguero liable for TC so early. If he blanks then your season over due to ibra and Sanchez doubles possible happening. Do we really all think TC is the right time? Silva could out score everything or Nacho could start the Sunderland Game I know this unlikely buy it could happen.

          But that logic might as well go the other way? What if you dont TC Aguero and he scores 4 goals? And you end up TCing Ibra who does nothing?

      What if you don't TC Kun, loads do and he get 5 goals over the 2 games.
      Then Sanchez gets injured, and Ibra blanks when you TC him.

          I get your hesitancy. If you use it now and it doesn't pay off you'll regret it and likely have a decent hit on your overall rank later in season.

      I think you're right. TC is a terrible gamble. Pep doesn't care who scores. City only put two past bournemouth, and Kun scored one goal against Sunderland in the home game earlier in the season. If Kun scores two against Sunderland he will come off. If he doesn't start and City get two or three he might never come on.

      Sunderland will sit deep and not attack and Pickford's is also back. Rotation will happen. Pep has already rotated 'nailed on' players like Sterling and KDB. I TC Kun last year but I think it is better played on Ibra, Sanchez or Kane who are less likely to be rotated/ will get more minutes.

      Majority of the TC opportunities later on can be partially covered by captaincies. This is a great chance for those who are switched on to make up ground in mini leagues, or to extend gaps.

      There's obviously a degree of risk with whoever you give the TC to at whatever point of the season. The reasons that I am swaying towards Aguero this week are: he is on-form; fixtures are excellent; City need to win and would like to improve their goal difference.

      Realistically, the only other two players that I would contemplate giving the TC to are Kane and Sanchez - but at this stage we don't know who their DGWs will be against or how hungry they (and their respective teams) will be to win.

      Try to get Defoe out for Aguero. I took a -12 to get Rondon out but my team doesn't need a hit next week.

        It doesnt really work with Defoe because of the price issue. And I'd also want Defoe back for 29 with good fixtures and his consistency. So I'm in the same boat really

        Risky for me! Pep is known to make strange rotations and Iheanacho is lurking after his league cup goal.

        I'd prefer putting it on a sure starter like Ibrahimovic or Sanchez later this season.

        Also, many are captaining him so even if he has a haul you'll make a marginal gain. If you pick to TC during a more contentious week you could get lucky!

        My spare team (top 20K) is captaining him though!

    As a none Aguero owner should I be worried? no one in the mini league currently owns him I am 1st but like previous seasons I feel they will flock to him

    Hazard Costa > Sterling Kun -4? (this may inc further -4 to alter team back)

    or just go Eriksen > Sane/Sterling and not go -4
