A busy Sunday comes to its conclusion at the Etihad now as Manchester City and Liverpool go head-to-head at 4.30pm.

Two of the top eight captains for Gameweek 29 take to the pitch now, with Sergio Aguero and Sadio Mane handed the armband by 8.33% and 2.12% respectively.

Owned by 21.6% of FPL managers, the Argentinian has found the net just twice in his last ten Gameweek appearances but history is on his side, having scored in all four of his home league appearances against the Merseysiders.

Both Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane boast far better form than the South American as Pep Guardiola’s side look to recover from their midweek Champions League exit in Monaco.

The former has produced returns in nine of his last 11 league outings, while Sane has finally settled after a frustrating first few months after arriving from Schalke last summer – the German wide man has racked up six goals and four assists in his last 11 starts across all competitions.

Residing in over 23% of squads, Mane has delivered double-figures against Spurs and Arsenal in the last four Gameweeks to emerge as Liverpool’s most reliable FPL performer.

Sold by over 118,000 FPL managers last week, Roberto Firmino recovers from a minor groin problem to return to the Reds’ XI.

Klopp is spot on in his analysis. City were shattered after the first goal and Liverpool let them recover.

No, I think they were too afraid to grab it in the fear that they'd concede. Went passive and paid for it. Klopp looked annoyed.

Yeah, true, but like Klopp said, after Liverpool scored and until City scored, City had given up. I remember posting their legs had gone. They looked shattered. Those Liverpool misses somehow gave them a second wind.

Looking like Siggy (C) next week. Who's leaning towards this?

Other options are Kun, Defoe, Mane, Antonio, Llorente for me

I'm thinking Aguero atm. City playing some top stuff, Arsenal are crap atm.

Aguero is tempting for the points ceiling, but Arsenal demise is exaggerated, and realistically I see Siggy outscoring him. Not easy to call though

I've captained Mane 7 times already, so I'm not against the idea. Though it was always against much inferior teams, except once against Chelsea in GW4(?), and that was disappointing. So I'm not convinced against an improving Everton team

You can see by my grav that I will be honest in such circumstances. Everton are woeful against Pool and not the quickest at the back. Mane is good at home and will play a free role. I promise it is a good call.

To answer i would say it possibly depends on your risk profile. ie do you want to play safe or gamble. Playing safe will include players like Haz or Costa for example.

            I would say:

Sanchez, Alli, Eriksen, Siggy, cheapy mid
            Ibra, Lukaku, Gabbi

Ok guys... Assuming nothing changes between now and next GW wwudo with this lot:

    Randolph / Jaku
Alonso Coleman Pieters / Brunt RFM
Siggy Mane Eriksen Antonio / Fletcher
    Kaku Kun Llorente
    3m itb 1 ft

Thinking Kun for Costa/Vardy and RFM for Bertrand for -4. Can anyone spot a better -4?

    Wildcard activated last night.

Looking at doing the below if Sánchez & Gabbi are okay, if not then maybe Hazard & Deeney in their place or consider a 3-5-2.

    Jakupovic, Pickford
    Alonso, Valencia, Vertonghen, Yoshida, Fabio
Sánchez, Alli, Sigurdsson, Pedro, De Roon
    Lukaku, Vardy, Gabbiadini

    Thoughts?

Bobby or Mane Berb? I'm so regretting getting Coutinho in for Bobby because of his injury and blank last week. Much better off with the Bobby torture than this tripe from Phil.

Mane at this point in time. He is very, very good in home games.

Not with the way he's playing. Has international duty, arrives late for Everton game too so another substitution probably.
