For the first half of April, we have teamed up with FanDuel to launch an exclusive free-to-enter “Last Man Standing” style contest, spanning the next four Gameweeks.

Called “Fantasy Football Scout Survivor”, this latest tournament differs from FanDuel’s distinct weekly and daily contest format as it covers a number of Gameweeks, with competitors seeking to survive through to the final round.

The format for “Survivor” will be instantly familiar to anyone who has participated in Fantasy Premier League “Last Man Standing” tournaments.

After each round of fixtures, those managers that rank in the bottom 50% of scores will be eliminated, with the top half marching on to the next stage. That continues until the ultimate winner is crowned – the highest scoring manager in the fourth round of fixtures.

Existing FanDuel customers, as well as those new to the game, are free to take part in this contest, although it is worth noting that this is only available to UK residents.

There are 300 team slots available and entries are limited to one per FanDuel account, so be sure to claim your spot in this exclusive free-to-enter contest.

Also, for new customers that register ahead of this tournament, FanDuel are giving away a free £5 credit, which can be accessed by using the promocode SCOUTFIVER when signing up via this link.

If you’re building a FanDuel lineup for the first time, we recommend taking a look at our strategy guide that examines which players to target in the various positions.

Getting Started

Click here and pick your FanDuel lineup for the first round, taking place in Gameweek 30.

Once your lineup is complete, you will either need to register an account or log in.

If you’re registering for the first time, Don’t forget to use the promo code “SCOUTFIVER” to claim your free credit.

When your line-up is entered, you can log back in and edit it, right up until the kick-off in the first match via the “upcoming” tab.

Should your team qualify for each next round, you will find a dummy line-up available, allowing you to tinker ahead of the next set of fixtures via the ‘upcoming’ tab in the FanDuel lobby.

Schedule and Prizes

The competition takes place over Gameweeks 30 -33, with the deadline for entries set for 12:30pm Saturday, April 1.

Here is the full list of rounds and the number of teams involved in each:

  • Round one – Saturday 1st April – 300
  • Round two – Saturday 8th April – 120
  • Round three – Saturday 15th April – 60
  • Grand Final  – Saturday 22nd April – 25

The winner is the competitor with the highest round four score, who will receive a £30 Amazon voucher and a £20 FanDuel credit.

The highest scorer in rounds one to three will receive a free entry into the following week’s Fan Favourite competition.

OK, new page... troops, I don't want to sound too drunk and stupid BUT- I am going to buy my first house (sign in Notary) nextTuesday. Feels weird owing your first property, especially after I know how badly uneven is the floor in the master bedroom and sitting room and how awful is the smell in the toilet...I have to fix it BUT my house sits on the sea, so who cares..I can do it! Anybody want to drop me some suggestions of what to do first (after I sign) let me kindly know. CHEERS

First thing is control the panic attack that will come after you first sign
It's always daunting and looks expensive but you will get by and it will all seem normal soon .

I bought it because I love the sea view and I love to dine on uneven table on my terrace. Wife is also jolly happy. I hope she will pick my next week Captain soon.. Looks like Siggy is her fav..

I made an extension when you are on the FPL website you just click ( Run Workflow ) and your team will be copied and FFS will open and you just paste your team and it will be like this

    "Jakupovic - Robertson - Valencia - Alonso - Coutinho - Alli - Pedro - Eriksen - Sánchez - Llorente - Lukaku - Bench: Valdés - 1 Brunt - 2 Funes Mori - 3 Barnes "

Its here if anybody need it :

So then?? Any update on my SKY STATS request?? Timbo (I think) said he flagged it for attention but no response.

    Just a bit poor really.

I know I'm a broken record but not even a reply about it is a bit off I think.

I don't think FFS is covering Sky Game anymore - maybe would be a conflict of interest given the FPL partnership.

They offer Sky stats and have a revised and smaller deal with SKY.the point being is that they offer sky stats as part of the subscription.

I paid my money for those stats.

It's like joining Netflix and all he documentaries not working. Yes no-one really wants to say them but if you suddenly did and they were broken you'd be rightly annoyed.

    Randolph, Jaku
    Alonso, Coleman, Evans, Fernandez, Holgate
    Sanchez, Mane, Siggy, Lanzini, Fletch
    Costa, Lukaku, Llorente

1FT, 3.7 ITB. Think I need Spurs mid.

    a) Siggy/Lanzini > Eriksen/Alli
    b) Evans, Siggy > Valencia, Eriksen -4
    c) some other move

I work in the hire car industry - a runner is a vehicle that is used to drop off or collect people in deliveries or collecting other vehicles.

E.g. Take the runner to Liverpool to collect, collect and drop.

                  Really dull I know.

People say 'I couldn't do your job' an awful lot but it's all relative. Lots and lots of jobs I couldn't/wouldn't want to do. After 10 years it all becomes very 'a matter of fact'. Much rather theatre than a ward....death and suffering on the wards are something to behold compared to theatre.

Ha. Well, I'm across the pond - an American - and all my clients are cable channels that specialize in the non-fiction/factual space (think Discovery, Nat Geo, HGTV, Food Net, History, Investigation Discovery, etc.). So if you watch shows on any of those, I've either ruined them or made them better - probably ruined them 🙂

Actually, judging by my decent FPL run the last few years I'm a little worried my clients are getting too little of my time and figuring out a way to get Rondon out of my team is getting too much of it 🙂

I'll tell you what ruins those types of programs big time - adverts, like every 2mins. And then they insist on doing a recap on the previous 2mins after the ads, which means about 1 min of new footage. And then ads again etc.

                Thing never gets going....

I think that's fair. The recaps used to be a necessary evil to get viewers who didn't watch from the beginning up to speed, but with more people recording/DVRing shows, the teases going to break and recaps coming out of break are becoming a real issue for channels.

Not on you, but every channel tends to go down the reality tv road. Even my beloved Smithsonian.

It was like printing money a few years back - cheap to produce, no writers needed, the "stars" didn't require as much money - but the saturation of shows about people do dangerous/weird/sometimes even boring jobs is quickly killing off the category.

Ah, I'm sure it was. Maybe finally hitting rock bottom and killing off the category will bring about better programming.

You're a genius! DMSOd6 is nothing to do with computer programming but I thought I'd go back to my original job - an organic chemist in the lab. DMSOd6 is a deuterated solvent used in NMR spectroscopy. However .....

I retrained and became ......... a computer programmer! Last 26 years in IT, programming and developing.

Would be grateful of advice for the upcoming Gameweek regarding the All Out Attack chip. My current team for week 30 is:

    Grant (Foster)

Alonso, Koscielny, Mee (Funes Mori, Nyom)

    Sanchez, Hazard, Eriksen, Sigurddson, King

    Lukaku, Carroll (Rondon)

One free transfer 0.0 in the bank and I'm eager to sell Rondon, probably for Negredo with Boro's upcoming fixtures and DGW. Would you say that is the best transfer if I take Rondon out (6.5) I can't afford Deeney or Defoe. If I go ahead, is this my week to hit the All Out Attack chip and if so to bench Mee Vs Spurs or Koscielny Vs Man City!?

    Opinions appreciated in advance, thanks

I'm on a wildcard. These 2 slots are bugging me.

    A) Siggy & Friend/Chambers
    B) Tadic/Redmond & Gibson

    DDG Pickford
    Alonso Walker Valencia PVA ***
    Sanchez Alli Eriksen *** Zaha
    Ibrahimovic Lukaku Negredo

    (Vardy is placeholder for Ibra)

I guess it boils down to wether I keep Siggy or not. It's his singles and reliability vs the potential of the Saints mid with 2 doubles. The Boro defender spot isn't really crucial as they don't even really need to play in 34 but it would be nice to have the option of playing them.

    * 34: Lukaku > Benteke (8 doublers in 34)
    * 35: Boro def & Negredo > Bellerin & Gabbiadini (3 doublers with Siggy or 4 if Tadic/Redmond)
    * 37: 11 doublers, plus Siggy (sun) or 12 if B) and the 3 Palace boys (HUL) plus 2 FT's

    * That's the plan, after writing I'm leaning towards keeping Siggy with the option of selling him for an Arsenal/Saints mid -4 in 35/36. What do you think? A) keep Siggy? Or B) lose him now?

keep siggy,i wont go 8 dgwk'ers in 34 if i dont have 35 or 36 wc,city, spurs, chelsea assets more imp for the double

      1. Jay_

Yeah thanks mate. City coverage later down the line is the one big problem with this plan. I expect other people on a WC now have the same problem.

Current team is attached below but I've read the posts and it seems everyone is sure kaku will get something, now considering all out attack and benching Olsson, I had considered gw31 for it when my defenders had horrid fixtures but attacking ones aren't great then either.

    Team: Heaton (Grant)
    Mawson Alonso Olsson (Coleman Baines)
    Lanzini Alli (M)ane Siggy King
    Costa Vardy (Lukaku)

    Thoughts?

You have to play Lukaku mate. Would bench Lanzini or King. The defence is a big call, depends if your a gambler or not. Easy choice is play 1 Swan/1 Everton.
