For the first half of April, we have teamed up with FanDuel to launch an exclusive free-to-enter “Last Man Standing” style contest, spanning the next four Gameweeks.

Called “Fantasy Football Scout Survivor”, this latest tournament differs from FanDuel’s distinct weekly and daily contest format as it covers a number of Gameweeks, with competitors seeking to survive through to the final round.

The format for “Survivor” will be instantly familiar to anyone who has participated in Fantasy Premier League “Last Man Standing” tournaments.

After each round of fixtures, those managers that rank in the bottom 50% of scores will be eliminated, with the top half marching on to the next stage. That continues until the ultimate winner is crowned – the highest scoring manager in the fourth round of fixtures.

Existing FanDuel customers, as well as those new to the game, are free to take part in this contest, although it is worth noting that this is only available to UK residents.

There are 300 team slots available and entries are limited to one per FanDuel account, so be sure to claim your spot in this exclusive free-to-enter contest.

Also, for new customers that register ahead of this tournament, FanDuel are giving away a free £5 credit, which can be accessed by using the promocode SCOUTFIVER when signing up via this link.

If you’re building a FanDuel lineup for the first time, we recommend taking a look at our strategy guide that examines which players to target in the various positions.

Getting Started

Click here and pick your FanDuel lineup for the first round, taking place in Gameweek 30.

Once your lineup is complete, you will either need to register an account or log in.

If you’re registering for the first time, Don’t forget to use the promo code “SCOUTFIVER” to claim your free credit.

When your line-up is entered, you can log back in and edit it, right up until the kick-off in the first match via the “upcoming” tab.

Should your team qualify for each next round, you will find a dummy line-up available, allowing you to tinker ahead of the next set of fixtures via the ‘upcoming’ tab in the FanDuel lobby.

Schedule and Prizes

The competition takes place over Gameweeks 30 -33, with the deadline for entries set for 12:30pm Saturday, April 1.

Here is the full list of rounds and the number of teams involved in each:

  • Round one – Saturday 1st April – 300
  • Round two – Saturday 8th April – 120
  • Round three – Saturday 15th April – 60
  • Grand Final  – Saturday 22nd April – 25

The winner is the competitor with the highest round four score, who will receive a £30 Amazon voucher and a £20 FanDuel credit.

The highest scorer in rounds one to three will receive a free entry into the following week’s Fan Favourite competition.

Wales are filthy. In the referees ear every moment, Bale obviously teaching his countrymen how they play in Spain buying fouls for nothing. Bale was lucky not to see red for his challenge on O'Shea as well. It was high and it was late.

  3. An Púca

Bales tackle on O'Shea was a red also. Yes he was going for the ball for a goal. But if he caught someones leg like that out the field, a straight red for sure.
Ref lost it not booking Whelan and Long in the first half. Wales were obviously told at HT to fight fire with fire

Agree he should have seen red for the studs on O'Shea. Could have even got a second yellow for catching McClean. Saying he didn't see him isn't really a defense, it was dangerous play.

Assuming it's a clean tib and fib break with no ankle involvement, it will take approx 9 months to heal, 15 with rehab. Definitely won't be playing until next Calender year. The question is: at 28, can he rehab quickly enough and get his fitness back to play football again? Sad day for football. Peak of his career

It's not good Numb it looks like the bone is at a right angle to the leg, that's not natural and I ain't no Doc or anything but it will take one hell of a recovery to get the leg back right again, not to mention playing a competitive game of football.

Coleman is around the same age Larsson was when he broke his leg.
Larsson has later said that injury probably pro longed his career.
It's gonna be down to if the break is a 'good' one, genetics and Seamus will power in rehab.

Hopefully he comes out a winner.

I experienced a similar injury to Coleman when I got run over when I was 19. If it is the compound fracture it appears to be then he will be on traction for a good while followed by an operation to pin the leg. It's a long road to recovery and there is the sad chance that he won't play again as a consequence. One of the main side problems is muscle wastage as it is likely that he won't be able to put any weight on his leg for a number of months. I have every sympathy with him and sincerely hope that it's not as bad as it looks.

    Coleman's injury;
Forgive the rough description. I am on my phone.

The location of the break is distal. Clean break of the tibia and fibula.

Does not look like a open fracture. But it's hard to tell. There will at the minimum severe closed soft tissue injury.
Certainly it is an unstable fracture. And will need operative stabilisation.

Unfortunately, there is higher indication of delayed union with this type of fracture, but with screws and plates and the best surgeon money can buy. He should get a full union.
He is likely looking at around 5 months recovery. Then rehabilitation will be a very long process. Could be 9 months in total.

    Get well soon.
