After Gylfi Sigurdsson disappointed during Swansea’s goalless draw with Middlesbrough at the Liberty, Gameweek 30 comes to its conclusion with the small matter of a 4pm showdown between Arsenal and Man City at the Emirates Stadium.

Two of the top five captained players in this round of fixtures go head-to-head now, with Sergio Aguero and Alexis Sanchez handed the armband by 8.8% and 5.7% of Fantasy Premier League managers respectively.

Sanchez, certainly, is the most reliable of the pair, serving up a goal or assist in 13 of his last 15 league outings to clinch a place at the top of the FPL leaderboard.

Aguero has upped his output in recent weeks, though, with two goals and an assist in his previous four appearances.

Up against a defence that’s been breached three times in three of their last four league fixtures, the Argentine goes in search of a fifth double-figure away haul.

With Arsenal playing ten times in the remaining eight Gameweeks and City boasting nine fixtures over that stretch, the likes of Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane, Mesut Ozil and Danny Welbeck also have a chance to impress, with the latter handed a third straight start by Arsene Wenger.

    Best move to make?

    a. Mane > Alli
    b. Mane + Siggy + Costa > Sanchez + Alli + Defoe (upto 7.8)
    c. Mane + Fletcher + Costa > Sanchez + Alli + Barnes

    Anything worth a hit? 😎

    Heaton
    Cedric / McAuley / Brunt
    Sanchez(c) / Coutinho / Sigurdsson / King
    Aguero / Costa / Lukaku

    Pickford / Alonso / Mawson / Carroll / 0.3m in the bank

    I guess it's just whether to go Aguero --> Ibra(-4)... the benefit of this is it frees up the funds for me to do Coutinho --> Alli next week.

    Team currently with 1ft and 2m in the bank. Was all set on Sanchez but not sure now...going to wc in next 2/3 weeks.

    Valdes jaku
    Lovren Evans Alonso Valencia Davies
    Eriksen son mane siggy Carroll
    Aguero Carroll lukaku

    Which do you prefer:

    A - mane and son to Ali and firmino
    B - mane and lovren to Sanchez and yoshida
    C - mane and aguero to Sanchez & ibra

    Sterling, Mané -> Sanchez, Eriksen (-4)?

    If yes, team will look like this:

    Heaton - Foster
    Alonso - Walker - Brunt - Valencia - Robertson
    Alli - Sanchez - Eriksen - Sigurdsson - De Roon
    Lukaku - Costa - Llorente

        Had him earlier, did nothing. Not too keen on going back there since I took a -4 to bring him in and another -4 to bring him out.
        And without Mané and Lallana, I'm not sure on how Liverpool will play.

        Yeah, was thinking the exact same scenario. Not keen on doing a -8 just to take out Llorente. And he has Spurs so don't expect him to do much anyway. 🙂

    Sorry to be a pain tonight, just need some expert help!

    WC A:

    Jaku (Pickford)
    Walker • Valencia • Alonso (Yoshida • Chambers)
    Sanchez • Alli • Coutinho • Sane • Pedro
    Ibrahimovic • Vardy (Barnes)

    WC B:

    Hennessey (Jaku)
    Walker • Valencia • Alonso (Fabio • Yoshida)
    Sanchez • Alli • Coutinho • Sane (De Roon)
    Ibrahimovic • Lukaku • Gabbi

    Or any other suggestions 🙂

    Think I prefer the 4-3-3 in B. May try and get Ndidi in as 5th in B too

    Good evening all. What would you do with this lot?

    Heaton
    Robertson, Baines, Alonso, Brunt
    Sigurdsson, Mane, Hazard, Alli
    Lukaku, Aguero

    subs: Foster --- Llorente, Holgate, Clayton --- 1 FT, 1.2 ITB

    A) Mane -> Coutinho
    B) Mane and Llorente -> Zaha and Ibrahimovic (-4)
    C) Something else, what?

      I'd put Mane --> Sanchez in my transfers page and then try and find the best transfer to fund it. Baines --> Yoshida or Aguero --> Zlatan might do it.

    Valencia, Alonso, Nyom (Amat, RFM)
    Mane, Alli, Siggy, Sterling (Clayton)
    Costa, Lukaku, Carroll

    Best way to fund 0.1 short for Mane -> Sanchez
    a) Heaton -> Valdez
    b) RFM -> Mawson/Boro Defender/Yoshida
    c) Sterling -> Sane/Zaha
    d) Siggy -> Zaha
    e) Lukaku/Costa -> Vardy

      'When I saw him in the dressing room, it didn't look like he'll be ready for Wednesday.
      "We will see, hopefully, it's not that serious, but of course it's not nothing and that makes our life not easier, I would say."

        yeah, but just because something looks bad it doesn't necessarily mean that it is bad. Klopp didn't exactly sound like he would miss multiple games and then Mane walked out of the ground without any problem - of course a scan may tell a different story.
