Gameweek 31 is upon us and underway courtesy of a quartet of Tuesday night matches under lights.

In Fantasy terms, the focus will be on Old Trafford where Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns to the equation and Manchester United’s starting line-up against Everton.

Having once been owned by over 2.4 million FPL managers, he’s now part of just over half that number and, intriguingly, goes head-to-head with the new top owned asset in Everton’s Romelu Lukaku tonight.

The Toffees frontman will be under renewed pressure to deliver following his tepid display in Saturday’s Merseyside derby. With Ibrahimovic now returned ahead of United’s two double Gameweeks, Lukaku needs to show willing and perhaps produce points to stave off increasing sales.

Elsewhere, Leicester City’s renaissance receives its latest test with basement dwellers Sunderland at the King Power Stadium. The Foxes have won four successive Premier Leauge matches and, while Jermain Defoe is fit to start for the visitors, Jamie Vardy and company will be backed for another win and further returns.

Meanwhile, Burnley host Stoke City at Turf Moor with Tom Heaton the key asset on show, while West Brom make the trip to Vicarage Road with Gareth McAuley the big draw – he boasts six goals from corner kicks, with the Hornets conceding ten from set-plays, only Bournemouth have conceded more.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Understand that but I was watching the BAPS and he wasn't even on the list and yet a pen catapults him into the points. It's a poor poor system.

As an owner I can't really complain - but I don't agree with the bonus system where (for example) Ibra scoring a penalty is worth twice as many BPS as Baines scoring one.

I think people need to be clear what they're moaning about with these rants. You're either moaning about FPLs bonus system or the fact that Ibra seemed lucky to get bonus.

In the system FPL use a forward gets highly rewarded for scoring a goal. That is why Ibra got bonus. You may not agree with the system but this is why Ibra got bonus.

What's your lowest Gwk score this year? (and ever if you remember years past)

        I managed 25 in Gwk 7.
Pretty sure I had 19 from a full 11 in the last few years.
I remember there was a crazy Gwk some years back where weather disrupted fixtures and meant that tiny scores occurred for many due to vastly reduced number of games, but I don't recall what I scored then.

This is exactly it. For instance, I can't remember the exact score I got on GW34 last season or what my rank was in GW8 when I captained Aguero. This is all valuable information that is interesting to look back on and could help my moves going forward.

Fair play to Lukaku whinging about Ashley Williams giving away two points. Nothing to do with Lukaku bottling it up front against a top team once again. If it wasn't for Williams it would have been 2 or 3-1 before the penalty.

Looks like 20ish from Heaton, Auto-Pieters, Lukaku and Vardy. I'll take it considering...

Hoping for better tomorrow though, with Alonso, Davies, Alli, Eriksen, Siggy, Origi and San(c)hez to come 🙂

If for instance Ibra had missed that pen, would Williams have lost the clean sheet as he was sent off?

Would Siggy to Alli or Eriksen on a free be good or bad?

kaku to zlatan -4 paid off. dodged a double kaku blank bullet with that. 16(from 4) pretty average.
