Now that the international break is behind us and the fixture list is bulging, the pace to the end of the season promises to be relentless.

It’s even enough to force us into the indignity of a “manic” Monday night ScoutCast.

Having endured the most mediocre of Gameweeks, it’s a blessing in disguise that the next is already upon us. Despite that, we still take time to cast an eye back at the weekend, including a revival of “Rough with the Smooth”, recounting your own contrasting fortunes.

Elsewhere, your community questions have us conducting the now weekly stock check of Manchester United’s double Gameweek wannabes, while Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez’s mood swings also come under scrutiny again as we chew over the likely replacements for the stricken Sadio Mane.

Palace get some love, those teams without a double Gameweek get appraised, and we even take time to explore a new phenomenon: the raiding right-back and curious bonus point darling that is Jesus Navas.

Oh, and much as we tried to shut down Jonty’s attempts to gloat about the latest spectacular success of his goals imminent table, Wilfred Ndidi still gets a mention.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Monday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience, plates and all, via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

        not quite form but maybe it may boost his confidence. Who knows, benteke is a weird one

        Couple of goals for Belgium and a goal and assist away to Chelsea is form for me.

        Agree though Bemba - a confidence booster.

        I find Benteke scores in streaks so happy with him right now

      C is guarenteed double digit score. A for explosion.

      C= safe
      A= risk/reward

    I had punted on Negredo due to great fixtures and upcoming (v. attractive) DGW. I realize Boro have been piss-poor going forward but with the new coaching team, I thought they may invest a bit more going forward. It's also crunch-time and they need wins.

    The Mané injury does open up an Origi option - does it make sense to do Negredo->Origi for a FT? Thoughts? Is Origi nailed on?

    Anyone else holding Aguero and not getting Sanchez?

    No Sanchez or Vardy, Alli (c).

    Holding firm this GW, no hits, will have a good team this weekend. Damage limitation this GW for me.

      Holding Kun but defo getting Sanchez in myself. Alli not bad shout for captaincy however. Always good to go with no hits, good luck for your GW Hooperman

    what has happened to costa last few weeks?

    He was mr consistent but has now blanked last 2. His stats are still relatively good but what are owners doing? Keeping? If so, that means you have to keep him over the next 2 at least as he has bournemouth.

    Or are people shipping?

    I am tempted to ship but then I saw city defend v arsenal

      Will monitor him against city. For me it's either him or lukaku that'll make way for ibra very soon. Plus Kane returning makes it hard to justify him taking up one of those precious 3 spots!

    I know this week is not the best to wildcard but have a lot of concerns with my team and can do this now with 0.0m in the bank

    Valdes, Pickford
    Alonso, Valencia, Davies, Stephens, Yoshida
    Sanchez, Alli, Eriksen, Coutinho, Firmino
    Vardy, Ibra, Barnes

    Plan to do to Vardy to Lukaku next week

    Thoughts? Someone talk me out of it (into it!)

    Need a differential and hard to ignore Arsenal, especially when they'll be needing to come out and play without defensive stability. I'm therefore considering:

    Sterling > Ozil (-4)

    Crazy?

    97 points behind my Cash League leader. Both have WC and BB still intact. Time to start taking captain risks or keep it steady and smash the late GW period?
