Ahead of this weekend’s fourth round stage of our two Premier League cup competitions, we look back at the events of the previous clashes and some of the most eye-catching match-ups.

Mark is now the only surviving former winner in our open to all cup after seeing off tkmlim 72-65 in round three. He next faces What Divock?!, who defeated reigning champion A Manager Has No Name.

Joining him through the exit door is Wild Rover, who was crushed 90-70 by the contest’s highest-ranked manager 50th-placed pitstop1.

The unlucky boss to next face pitstop1 is The Shaman, who is ranked just 373,401.

Another former winner to fall was Donnellyc, who was dispatched by Who Divock Is Origi.

Joining Mark as other representatives of our live Hall of Fame top ten in the next round are Dronny Imp (aka David Meechan), whose score of 92 was enough to beat Jurgen Can Karius and set himself up a match against Quinntessentials.

Another elite manager to prevail is My Pretty Pony (aka Peter Kouewenberg), who scored 89 in his victory over Prophet and next takes on Donnellyc’s conqueror Who Divock Is Origi

The full fourth round draw can be found here.

In our Members Cup Fenghh, who beat former winner Trigg in round two, makes it through to the fourth round after defeating 2,208-ranked christian steinbauer.

But things do not get any easier for our 36,596-placed giant killer as he now faces the competition’s top-ranked manager Hana, who is 170th in the world.

Elsewhere in the round four draw, community regulars RoysCallerAnne and Dr Ennet face each other, with the former’s 829 rank making him the favourite over his 19,528-placed opponent.

There will also be a community writers derby when Career Hall of Fame analyst TopMarx takes on Kryten, who has written extensively on bandwagons and the effect of European cup involvement on Premier League teams. With a rank of 13,069, compared to Kryten’s placing of 27,609, TopMarx is the slight favourite for this battle of the scribes.

The full fourth round draw can be found here.

There is £350 in Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk vouchers up for grabs for the final top three managers in both tournaments.

Good luck to all those involved and if you would like more information on the schedule and prizes click this link.

Anyone else considering Lukaku > Benteke and upgrade to a United mid in 34?

I would ideally do this, but can't see it's worth it for hits when I have decent players in those positions

Fair point. Easier if you've got a 5th mid fodder you can upgrade.

Both Palace and United have excellent fixtures in 35 as well to along with the DGW. Lukaku vs Chelsea is a clear blank. So I'm definitely leaning towards selling him after this GW.

Not personally, Lukaku going for Golden Boot and Palace midfield better than Benteke and way cheaper.

1 return in the last 7 for Lukaku away. His points generally come at home against weak opposition. Neither of his GW34 nor 35 fixture fit that bill.

I think 8 Away goals is o.k so not worried by 34, accept Chelsea at home is tough.

Would you not prefer Zaha or Townsend over Benteke even if you worried over Lukaku though?

I've already got Zaha. Considering two, maybe even all three. Cheap, seemingly fixture proof, in good form. And then get rid on GW36 WC.

A save this GW then I think.
Only BB + AOA left amongst the chips for me though.

Hope things will be ok with this lot.
What would u be looking at next?

    Pickford.
    Bailly, Davies, Holgate.
    Alli(vc), Sanchez, Hazard, Zaha.
    Kane(c), Aguero, Origi.

    Valdes, Yoshida, Gibson, De Roon.

Hi Jony, with the DGW announced, will their be an article about when to play your TC chip? For those with their BB left, they will probably play it in 37 so would like to know what others are doing with the TC chip. DGW in 34 or 36, or a SGW like this week with Kane/Lukaku....

From the ticker I see that Everton, Bou and Crystal Palace have fav SGW fixtures. Still those with a WC should target 10-12 DGW players for 37. Ergo it makes sense to be ambitious for DGW 34 if one is using WC in 35. Only drawback is this strategy will be heavily weighted towards Arsenal and Soton players.

Afternoon everyone, I've been battered in the last few weeks owning Valencia, Walker, Siggy, Sanchez and Llorente.

    Any suggestions here:

    Pickford (Foster)
Walker / Bavies / Valencia (Holebas / Amat)
Sanchez / Alli / Coutinho / Siggy (Clayton)
    Aguero / Lukaku / Llorente

All this talk of DGWs in 36 and 37, but surely with there being just one more GW in 38, for many people it is important to consider fixtures in that week also?Look at fixtures in GW 38 when choosing the DGW players. We all know that GW38 can be a crap shoot as we all hunt around for that elusive Theo hattrick or this season's Stoke vs Liverpool, but no point taking too many risks if you have ML leads to defend.

I m crossing my fingers that the race for the Prem league title goes to the wire. Imagine for example Chelsea being 4 points clear of Spurs and Spurs 4 points clear of 3rd place going into GW38? Covering the big teams for the double could cause rotation headaches.
Whatever happens I ll spend GW38 behind the sofa!

GW 37 DGW means I'm reluctant, but have to lose some players. Josh King(After the Spurs game) has 5 glorious games. Unfortunately GW37 falls on him playing Burnley at home. What a gutter.

Next week as in vs Arsenal? Or this week vs Bou?

      In both cases, A

Hard to say, but I think A is safer, despite the hit

don't understand the comparison, since they can not be swapped for one another . . . there must be at least 2 other players involved.

Surely GW 35 is a better week to activate your WC than 36 if you have both TC and BB left right?

Could also go ahead and TC Ibra next Week
      That looks better to me

Ibra has a Really Good Away form and also currently is in form
          Too much uncertainty regarding Sanchez
Also the plus side is you can hold on to the non DGW players for Longer
Also Closer the WC is to DGW, easier to plan cuz injuries can be easily dealt with.

unless you use the TC before then. Kane or Luk this week, Ibra or someone else in 34. if not, then yes.

seems to me the BB should be used in 37.

Is anyone worried about Palace rotation in GW34? I guess they won't be guaranteed of staying up by that point. Big Sam also strikes me as the kind of manager that sticks with a winning formula although I'm just guessing.
