As our two Premier League cup competitions reach the last 16 stage, we take a look at some of the key Round Six encounters.

Mark, the open to all cup’s only remaining former winner, saw off hishamkmr by a 20-point margin in Round Five to set up a tie with Cars and Mane.

Mark’s rank of 270 makes him the contest’s highest-placed manager, but his opponent will be no pushover – he’s ranked a mere 326 places behind him and is one of five other top 1,000 managers left in the competition.

Another of this elite group is the 849-placed My Pretty Pony (aka Peter Kouewenberg), who takes on NUFC Fifer,  the contest’s second-highest ranked manager at 279th.

The remaining top 1,000 derby involves the 843-ranked Choppers13 squaring up to Patio Kev, who is 438 places above him.

The open to all cup’s lowest-ranked surviving managers, 256,208-placed The Shaman and K3lviN, who is 392,260 in the world, will be breathing a sigh of relief at avoiding one of those high-fliers.

However, with K3lviN taking on the 30,712-ranked Pilgrim and The Shaman encountering 50,328 rogerbarton, they both still have plenty to do to progress to the quarter-finals.

The full Sixth Round draw can be found here.

Rogerbarton takes the title of giant killer in chief in the Members Cup after seeing off Pukka, who went into Round Five ranked 88th in the world. Placed at the 50,328 mark, Roger faces another tough tie when he meets up with the 15,676-ranked Dr Ennet in the final 16.

With Pukka sent packing, Choppers13 is now the highest-ranked remaining manager as his dream of a cup double remains on track. He has a favourable Round Six clash with the 369,310-placed FrankieTheGent.

Community scribe Kryten was another to emerge victorious from Round Five. He next tackles Cheltnamshire lalala, who, with a rank of 3,177, is 7,963 places ahead of him.

The full Sixth Round draw can be found here.

There is £350 in Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk vouchers up for grabs for the final top three managers in both tournaments.

Good luck to all those involved, and if you would like more information on the schedule and prizes click this link.

    Please rate WC:

    Caballero / Boruc
    Bertrand / Holgate / Gabriel / Vertonghen / Yoshida
    Hazard / Sanchez / Alli / Sane / King
    Costa / Gabbi / Anichebe

4.6 ITB to upgrade Anichebe to Jesus once confirmed that he gets minutes. If not then I will upgrade a defender and keep Anichebe on the bench.

What would you change or G2G?

Bench Boosting this week with Pickford, Zaha, Stephens, and Chambers...

Any need to do Lukaku to Kane for a -4. Otherwise my C is either Benteke or Gabbi. Think I'll stick with the in form Benteke against Burnley.

      • 9 Years

Sorry but why are you bench boosting prior to gw37?

      1. Ibracadabra
        • 16 Years
        8 years, 10 months ago

I have a big H2H mini league battle in 35 and an easy opponent in 37, and in GW37 the only 2 players who have an extra GW would be Pickford and Stephens, both have an extra GW against a Top 4 side, so don't expect a huge points loss...

I would still have Zaha, Chambers as the other two and Pickford/Stephens even in 37...

Do you think Lukaku -> Kane for -4 is worth it?

        1. Vamonos
          • 9 Years
          8 years, 10 months ago

Ah that makes perfect sense then.

I wouldn't waste 4 points on Kane, Kaku will be well up for it and Tekkers can certainly be a decent captain shout this week. I have Kane, Benteke and Gab and captaining Benteke also

I really do think having two Saints defenders is going to hurt a lot of people. I know it's because of how cheap they are but I can't see a single clean sheet during the doubles - Middlesbrough away is the only hope.

I plan to bench Stephens perhaps for one of them, he's only 4.1m and can put him first off the bench in case someone else picks up an injury or a SGW is rested...

yeah but if they even concede in 3 possibly 6points plus 6points for 1 cleanie

who would you suggest instead as limited funds

If no more funds can be found I'd suggest someone like Nyom (WBA) just to spread the risk. If it's purely GW37 we're talking about maybe even someone like Kelly (CPL). I also noticed Wes Morgan is down to £4.6m - could be good if fit.

In our rush to decide whether Jesus was fit to play and whether Aguero or Jesus is first choice have we not overlooked another simpler explanation for Thursday's team sheet.

The operative word being Thursday (Not Tuesday or Wednesday)

It's entirely possible that Jesus was fit(ish) to play but Pep decided that Aguero would play Thursday and Jesus on Sunday with the games being so close together. Aguero taking the harder more intense game and Jesus the slightly easier one.

It won't be the only position rotated on that basis on Sunday, far from it, either for City or United.

I really think Jesus will start. Pep had no problem dropping Aguero when Jesus first signed with the team. He even scored yesterday, just disallowed

      1. Ibracadabra
        • 16 Years
        8 years, 10 months ago

Aguero has like 12 in 12 and looked sharp vs United, makes no sense to "drop" him, maybe "rest" because of a grueling week, but he will start at least 3/5 games rest of way in my opinion.

I don't think it's a matter of dropping Aguero or not...far from it....It may simply be a case of playing on Thursday and playing on Sunday...and that's my point.

Both managers from Thursday will make wholesale changes where they can simply because it's not really enough time to recover. The Aguero/Jesus situation will be no different from any other position in both teams (if he was fit in the first place)

    2. JÆKS ⭐
      • 11 Years
      8 years, 10 months ago

Yea could be, although I think that after 2 months of injury, a 10 minute cameo won't do it to make you start the next game. He wasn't in the squad against Arsenal for the FA which is an indication that he wasn't ready yet. Don't think you can go from not fit enough for the bench to starting a game in just 7 days imo

      1. Dr Dream
        • 13 Years
        8 years, 10 months ago

Dunno. Only Pep knows. I'm just putting out a distinct possibility.

Put another way. If (big IF) both were fit i'd probably have wanted to play one on Thursday and one on Sunday...wouldn't you?...and Aguero gets the tougher game...

Wildcarding tomorrow to BB in 37.

Not too high of TV so what's the best move here? Don't own any Chelsea players. I want C, but the combo of a potential rise and drop of the others involved is worrying.

      A) Lanzini > Hazard
      B) Negredo > Gabbi

last check before I get priced out.. on WC now, TC Sanchez GW36, BB GW37..

      Caballero Pickford

      Monreal Gabriel Bailly Yoshida Stephens

      Sanchez Alli Hazard King Capoue

      Kane Costa Gabbiadini

      £0.1 left

I know Gabriel is a risk, but looks to get both games in the first double, and I can't afford the safer alternative of getting Cech. Capoue should get both games in GW37 and can be on the bench besides then. Chelsea seem to have started wrecking teams so I'm doubling up as I think it's too early for Jesus.

      AOA
      Heaten/Pickford
      Valencia Alonso (yoshida gibson 3.9)
      Sanchez Zaha Ali eriksen King
      Kane Gabbi lukaku

      G2G? No WC left.

      Jaku (Valdes)
      Alonso, Valencia, Yoshi (Davies, Holgate)
      Haz, Alli, Zaha, King (Sanchez)
      Kane (C), Gabbi (V), Lukaku

Sanchez bench feels right. Gabbi for the C if chasing? I'm 30 behind.

Ready to play the wildcard and got 101.4 in the bank

Who are you buying to see you through to the end of the season?

Also what's all this Jesus love, surely Kun starts this weekend?

        It's only on this site.

Most believe you'll see Kun in that starting lineup outside of here.
