Andy Carroll looks set to miss West Ham’s trip to Stoke City, Arsenal centre-half Laurent Koscielny remains a doubt ahead of Sunday’s north London derby, while West Brom’s Matt Phillips is back on the sidelines with a hamstring problem.

Southampton duo Charlie Austin and Matt Targett returned to training on Thursday, although neither player will be ready to face Hull City tomorrow.

Tigers head coach Marco Silva has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the trip to St Mary’s, with defender Omar Elabdellaoui still sidelined due to a back injury.

Jonathan Walters is Stoke City’s only injury concern ahead of the home encounter against West Ham United. Potters boss Mark Hughes hopes the attacker will be able to take part in training today in order to provide his fitness.

Andy Carroll is set to miss the trip to the bet365 Stadium due to a groin injury, but Hammers boss Slaven Bilic will welcome back Mark Noble and Sam Byram, with the pair available again after completing their suspensions. Robert Snodgrass (knee) and Sofiane Feghouli (knock) remain doubtful.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is likely to be devoid of Dan Gosling’s (calf) services for the trip to Sunderland, while Andrew Surman remains out with a knee injury. That means Lewis Cook is likely to earn a start in central midfield.

West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis is without Matt Phillips and Hal Robson-Kanu for the home fixture against Leicester City after the pair both suffered hamstring injuries in training this week.

Islam Slimani has returned to training following a groin injury, with Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare expecting the forward to be fit for the trip to the Hawthorns. Wes Morgan (hamstring) is described as “touch and go” by Shakespeare, although he will give the skipper every chance to prove his fitness.

Crystal Palace manager Sam Allardyce will be without Mamadou Sakho for the home meeting with Burnley after the defender suffered a knee injury during the 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. The Eagles boss indicated Damien Delaney will replace the Frenchman in central defence alongside Martin Kelly.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche will have to make at least one change from the side that lost 2-0 to Manchester United for the trip to Selhurst Park after Joey Barton was banned by the FA following a betting investigation. Ben Mee (shin) is Dyche’s main injury concern, but Stephen Ward (knee), Scott Arfield (knee) and Sam Vokes (hamstring) could all be available.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will be without the suspended Marouane Fellaini for the home clash against Swansea City, while Paul Pogba is a doubt after missing the Manchester derby due to a knock. Timothy Fosu-Mensah is also a major doubt with a shoulder injury suffered on his introduction from the bench in Thursday’s derby.

Swansea City head coach Paul Clement is hopeful Jack Cork (ankle) and Martin Olsson (hamstring) will be fit to return for the trip to Old Trafford, while Leroy Fer could be available despite picking up a dead leg in last weekend’s 2-0 win over Stoke City. Wayne Routledge is out, though, after undergoing a hernia operation on Tuesday.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger rates Laurent Koscielny’s chances of recovering from the knee problem he picked up during Wednesday night’s 1-0 win over Leicester City as “60/40.” Shkodran Mustafi will definitely miss the North London derby and is out for around two more weeks, with a thigh injury ruling him out for a further two weeks. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is fully fit and could return to the XI, having been benched against Leicester City in midweek as a precaution.

Watford look set to be without Craig Cathcart (knee) for the home clash against Liverpool, while head coach Walter Mazzarri will check on the fitness of midfielder Valon Behrami to assess whether he is ready to come back into the starting XI.

No DGWs and he's against Chelsea, he rarely delivers against the big teams.

Gabbi has Hull at home followed by 2 DGWs, it makes perfect sense especially if you're cashing in value built-up in Lukaku

bottled what exactly, spurs have never had the lead so how can they bottle it, plus we've closed the gap on chel to 4 points from 13 so its them that are on the ropes, 8 wins on the bounce and over the last 2 seasons spurs are the most consistent team that have applied pressure to runaway leaders?

Don't get me wrong, I actually like your players and your coach but how have you not won anything with that team for 2 years straight? I favored you lot to go deep in the UCL and then EL but you choked in both and were barely keeping level with a weakened Chelsea team with no Hazard or Costa in the FA cup final, not to mention you bottled a two horse title race between yourselves and Leicester to come 3rd behind Arsenal of all clubs.

alder being inj cost us in the champ lge, in the fa cup semi we outplayed chel but 2 mistakes cost us, why poch experimented with son as a lwb I don't know, I just don't agree with the bottling label when spurs were never leading at any point

      Currently on

      Caballero Pickford
      Alonso Koscielny Blind Yoshida Stephens
      Hazard Ozil Alli Sane King
      Kane Bentekke Gabbiadini

If Jesus is back starting then Benteke to him for exact funds. I already explained why I don't want Sanchez but I also have a plan for him in case he actually does show more promise for his value, but if Jesus is performing the focus will be on getting him in.

Feeling pretty comfortable with this and will most likely go for it 😀

Not particularly but Im willing to be swayed...

Mustafi should be back for the second dgw and if arsenal go back to playing a back 4 gabriel will make way. But he will be fine for next 3 PL matches.

Puel hinted at Caraces playing, i dont think stephens will play all 4 across the 2 dgws. More likely one in each.

I have the same front 8 but i think i'd prefer cout over sane just for the mean time but cant have them all 🙂

      Hi all!

Regarding the bonus points - I can see again from last night that (in my opinion) they still haven't quite got it right for games that end 0-0. Surely the right route for points would be to the defensive away team that manages to stop the attacking home team from scoring?

I know some might not agree but I would have thought that Man U defenders would warrant bonus more than City last night. They have got it right with the GK because of save points but with defenders I still feel it's not quite there. I remember another example from a previous season where Sunderland went to Arsenal and held on for a 0-0 but it was the Arsenal defenders that got all the bonus. Thoughts on this?

Kompany stopped numerous united counter attacks, and was absolutely dominant in the air....united defenders sat back and didn't actually make as many tackles as you'd expect....i thought the baps were fair

I agree with Kompany and De Gea max bonus. Watching the game I think most could have called that. What was weird was then Kolarov and Zabaleta getting bonus when the likes of Bailly and Blind went unrewarded. I'm not suggesting points were issued incorrectly because the system is what it is. What I'm asking is do people think the system needs tweaking to perhaps reward away defenders over home ones, especially in a game like last night.

I think he is the best defender City have, by far, but I expect that his body is a ticking time bomb. Buying him is like buying Carroll or Sturridge - if they stay fit it is worth it perhaps - but will they stay fit?

This - I'll have some SGWs on the bench and would be happy with 20.

so the change is no Kane but Costa and no Hazard but double Spurs mids, right?
        I prefer the previous one.

Hi folks, I want to free up some cash to get Hazard in my team.

I've identified Valencia as my likely downgrade but can't decide who to replace him with. Who do you think is more likely to start the remaining games of the season out of:

      a) Darmian
      b) Gabriel
      c) Any other 5m defender you can think of who doesn't play for Southampton (already got my 3 in mind) and ideally has a dgw

      Cheers, JP

I'd go with Gabriel - he has an extra double, will continue to play if Arsenal play 433 even when Mustafi returns, and has better fixtures.

Huth could be a good pick too. Leicester have a double, 2 very strong home games, and have returned to form. Huth is good for a goal too.

How come all the DGW players have not changed in price??

Because there's been games during the week, so most don't like to make transfers before all the games are over.
