Dugout Discussion – Swansea vs Everton

The day’s events conclude at the Liberty Stadium with Swansea City bidding to claim a vital three points against Everton having seen their relegation rivals slump to defeats.

From a Fantasy perspective, the main focus will be Gylfi Sigurdsson for the home side, with the Icelander having ended a run of five Gameweeks without points with a goal and an assist in his last two outings.

Sigurdsson heads into this match as part of 10.9% of Fantasy Premier League squads, having suffered a minor ownership loss this week. Involved in 53% of the Swans goals this season, with Paul Clement’s side surely buoyed by today’s earlier results, we will be expecting Sigurdsson to maintain his recent upturn.

For Everton, Romelu Lukaku is still part of 40.8% of FPL line-ups despite suffering a heavy loss of 153,000+ owners ahead of today’s game. The Belgian has scored just a single goal in his last eight away trips.

      I really think a once off retrospective captaincy chip could work. You could do it in ultimate fpl within a certain time period.

      I was going to get Kompany in my wildcard at one stage.
      Those 11 points he got were making me think 'what if'.

      So I looked through my waffling comments with the widlcard I was considering and sure I was going to bench him anyway!

      This would have been far more annoying, considering I am going to bench boost next week.
