Sunday’s events begin at Selhurst Park in an encounter that’s crucial from a Premier League perspective but offers only partial Fantasy interest.

Following Swansea City’s victory at Sunderland on Saturday, relegation-threatened Crystal Palace and Hull City will go into the noon kick-off decidedly edgy, with the home side likely to be set up to avoid defeat, while the Tigers will surely need to snatch all three points.

Palace’s Wilfried Zaha is the most owned outfield player on show.

Still part of 12% of squads, the winger has nonetheless been shed by over 226,000 FPL managers over the past three Gameweeks following a dismal run of just seven points from his last five starts. That spell followed huge investment ahead of his two fixtures over Double Gameweek 34 which saw him produce a pair of 1-point returns.

Eagles boss Sam Allardyce will certainly look to Zaha to inspire his side today, along with striker Christian Benteke. The Belgian has followed a similar pattern to Zaha – spiking in ownership ahead of Gameweek 34, only to lose over 183,000 owners over the last two Gameweeks.

Benteke and his remaining owners will take some comfort from the fact that Hull City have shipped 13 goals from corners and the same number of headed goals – in both cases the most conceded in the Premier League.

But Palace have also shown fragility at set-pieces – they have also allowed 13 goals this season – a factor which could be exposed by Marco Silva’s visitors.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

There is some truth in that sadly and other people have more flexibility in their selection choices.. Not saying casual players are better (god no) but it does pay off for them sometimes more than you'd hope..

I know Hull are the talking point here since they've largely been crap (Silva has done an admirable job given the team he took over) but what of Palace? Remember, if Palace lost today they'd have had a serious threat of relegation. Still think they need a good deal of work over the Summer.

Get rid of Puncheon, Benteke and Townsend IMO. Buy Siggy, see if they can get Lucas Perez and Ihenacho on loan.

Don't think Palace are that far off. But the mentality of some of their players sucks in terms of having fight and desire.

          Mandanda
          Ward Dann Sakho Schlupp
          Cabaye Milivojević
          Zaha (Siggy) PVA
          ?????

Get Siggy, but they need a mobile striker. If Walcott is on his way out I would punt on him.

Interesting and, while I don't doubt that Costa is a "difficult" character, it's a bit harsh to make such judgements from his behaviour less than an hour after winning the Premier League title.

"The Brazilian centre-forward was in the room too, shouting random English words, invading everyone’s personal space, shrieking in frustration and eyeballing anyone who dared to prolong the interview by asking his manager a question. Looking into those eyes, one had the strong suspicion that although the lights were on, it was by no means certain that anyone was home."

He won the league title with them and played a vital part, I'd say let him do what the hell he likes. These moments don't come every season. Enjoy it, mess around and live in the moment. Football careers are very short and things change quickly.

Missing their best player too for quite some time. No Europe surely helps but its still a nice achievement if they make it. Would need to spend heavy millions though if they get in Europe for the next season.

Right. I'd have to take a hit to get Sturridge (from Jesus) by downgrading a mid. Not selling Kane. I think I'd get Coutinho instead. He's the main pool man this year. Maybe Firmino, from Hazard.
