Gameweek 13 was pretty low scoring so we’ll be hoping for more goals for the next set of fixtures, which kick off on Saturday.

FANTASY LEAGUE STANDINGS

Colmans Mustard extended his lead in the Fantasy Football Scout League to 15 points after a respectable score of 68 points this gameweek.

In the H2H league Dutch Warriors got another win and remains on top with 11 victories and 2 losses.

STOCK CHECKS

Rising

Amin Nouri (5.6, Brann, defender)

He’s continuing his amazing form recently. Over his last six matches he has scored once, assisted four, kept three clean sheets and picked up six bonus points from his right back berth. He’s now scored eight points less than Rolantsson. Be wary though, Nouri is without a contract at the end of the season and has refused to sign a new one. There’s a chance he’ll leave Brann in the summer.

Abdoulaye Seck (4.7, Sandefjord, defender)

This man never stops impressing. Another 15 point haul this Gameweek, on the back of a goal and clean sheet, propels him to third in the total points table. Who would expect that from a 4.0 priced centre back at the start of the season?

Aleksander Megalvis (4.3, Lillestrøm, defender)

Mentioned as a differential ahead of this Gameweek, he delivered a goal, a shut out and maximum bonus points. This followed two assists in his previous two run outs, in which he has proved an excellent out of position prospect, playing on the right side of midfield. But, with Knudtzon suspended next gameweek there could be a major re-shuffle in the lineups if a striker impresses in the abscent of Knudtzon up front.

Fredrik Knudsen (5.0, Haugesund, defender)

I could have picked any of the Haugesund defenders after three consecutive clean sheets. They are very much on form and shut Rosenborg out this Gameweek. Knudsen has picked up bonus points in three of the last five Gameweeks  which makes him the stand out option, although Stølås (5.4) and Haraldseid (4.9) are also good picks, especially as both are on set pieces. Bråtveit in goal is another option.

Haris Hajradinovic (7.2, Haugesund, midfielder)

This is a very interesting one. Before the season I thought he would be a good pick, but for much of the campaign he’s been anonymous. That all changed in the last two games when Haugesund changed formation, with Hajradinovic scoring once and assisting another in a new role behind a lone striker. In one of these games, against Rosenborg, he racked up a remarkable eight shots. Last season’s tally of four goals and seven assists did indicate he can prosper when afforded the opportunity and it looks like he is finally doing that this season. If he can continue to be fielded in this advanced role he looks an excellent acquisition for your squad.

Daniel Braaten (7.0, Brann, midfielder)

Coming back from a one game suspension, he provided a goal and an assist as well as maximum bonus points. He has now picked up 16 bonus points so far this season, more than any other player. He’s getting hard to ignore.

Björn Sigurdarson (9.8, Molde, forward)

Sigurdarson scored in his third consecutive home game. Do we now have a reliable captaincy option when at home? With home games against Viking and Strømsgodset coming up I certainly would consider bringing him in soon. One of the top scoring players in the game and one of the few premium priced players actually delivering points.

Falling

Erling Knudtzon (8.1, Lillestrøm, midfielder)

Knudtzon let down a couple of thousand new owners in the home game against Viking. He did hit the post, but he also (wrongly) got a yellow card which means he’s now suspended for next gameweek.

Jeppe Moe (4.2, Stabæk, defender)

Stabæk has shown over the last couple of gGmeweeks that they’re not a top team, but more like the team we expected them to be. They have conceded 12 goals over the last three games. Moe picked up his third yellow of the season and is now suspended for the home fixture against Kristiansund.

Birger Meling (6.3, Rosenborg, defender) and all Rosenborg players

Rosenborg again failed to play well and keep a clean sheet. They have only kept one clean sheet over the last eight Gameweeks, way less than expected. On the top of that Meling managed to get sent off. To be honest, I  could have put every Rosenborg player on this list.

Anders Trondsen (7.6, Sarpsborg, midfielder)

The most owned midfielder in the game left after 39 minutes with an injury. After he finally produced some points over the last few Gameweeks, this isn’t good news to owners.

Mos (9.0, Aalesund, forward)

After looking like the only reliable player in this game, he has now blanked three Gameweeks in a row. With though fixtures coming up, is it now time to look elsewhere?

DIFFERENTIALS FOR GAMEWEEK 14

Daniel Fredheim Holm (6.3, Vålerenga, midfielder)

He’s been showing good form recently. He’s now started three consecutive games as a right winger, after starting the season injured. He’s picked up two assists and four bonus points over those three games. I’d back him to do well in a home fixture against Lillestrøm. Vålerenga will be boosted by the return of Zahid from injury as well.

Luc Kassi (6.0, Stabæk, midfielder)

A key man for Stabæk is returning from suspension. Prior to this enforced break he had picked up a goal and an assist in two games. I expect Stabæk to get a win again in a home fixture against Kristiansund, and I expect Kassi to be involved in Stabæk’s goals.

Mikael Ingebrigtsen (5.8, Tromsø, midfielder)

Tromsø is in pretty poor form these days, but they have a good chance of turning it around at home against Sandefjord. Ingebrigtsen started up front for Tromsø against Molde and has been looking very dangerous lately. He hit the bar twice in the previous two games and has scored three times in the last five.

Subed in first half, not getting any CS or 60 min point, but can hope for some assist/goal as a longshot.

Coach stated this week was the last chance Midtsjø had of a vacation from training before Christmas, due to missing the common vacation time due to international call-up. Hence benched for rest.

So i want jevtovic. Have midtsjø and Hedenstad from Rosenborg now. Do i swap midtsjø for jevtovic or do i act before pricechanges and swap brochman for jevtovIc? Can just abou afford it if i act fast.

Aslo Anybody know Why no grøgaard today?

    1. MTPockets
      9 years, 15 days ago

Wondering the same thing (midtsjo to jevtovic), but probably leave it for a week. One thing I'm not sure about - Jevtovic picked up first yellow card today & has red card from previous game. Does that mean he now gets suspended after one more yellow or two?

      Grøgaard - groin injury.

      1. Ramboros
        • 14 Years

No. You have to get a yellow before a direct red card for that to happen.

Cheers, may reassess then if two more yellows. Midtsjo not justifying the spot/price.

Stokke looks like Kane in the highlights against Stabæk. Just incredibly positioning, technique, composure and finishing. Could have scored even more goals. Rosenborg x2, Godset away, and Vålerenga and Sarpsborg at home in the next five are a bit though fixtures.

I've decided to do Shuaibu to Veldwijk. I don't mind having a cheap striker in my line up that rarely scores, but I do mind having a player that rarely plays 60+ minutes. Veldwijk has looked really good for Aalesund for a while, but his finishing has been awful. We are talking about a player that netted 14 goals in Eredivisie just 2 seasons ago. He's so cheap that I can keep him for a few GWs even if he leaves after the next 3 games.

    1. MTPockets
      9 years, 15 days ago

Yep Shuaibu's worth losing. I'm considering the same with Ohi but such high ownership now.

      1. Ramboros
        • 14 Years
        9 years, 15 days ago

I'm not too worried about Ohi's high ownership. He's a slightly expensive striker. There are four forwards (Stokke, Mortensen, Sigurdarson, Mos) that's within four points of him. Ramsland, Veldwijk, Mendy, Brustad and Abdellaoue also seem to be good players with decent form. Not going with Ohi is basically a strategy in itself. The biggest hindrance to getting rid of him is his massive price rise combined with the amount of chances he gets every single game. In today's game he had two opportunities that he should have buried. It's though to get rid of a player that's imminent to scoring, but he's had 3 extremely juicy home fixtures in a row and floundered.

        1. MTPockets
          9 years, 14 days ago

Yes you're right. I may still sell Ohi if I can make my mind up on the replacement.

You'll have to use it soon before it expires, but there's no major issues so you'll probably be changing just a few players and bench fodders. Jevtovic and striker Sigurdarson are the two I'd be looking to get.

I know Niemi is on holiday, but at some point it would be really helpful if he or any other knowledgeable people could maybe do a list of players who are most likely to leave during the summer break.

Sigurdarson (Tromsø) A lot of clubs interested, so he might leave
Adegbenro (Viking) Very likely to be sold, and Rosenborg is said to be interested.

Zahid has Brann away and then blank. No home games in the next 4.

Bråtveit has a blank in GW16 and you will be forced to play McD away to Godset.

I'd rather go Hansen + Knudzton.

Your defenders don't rotate well, but they are probably the best options individually.

69 points and inside top 1500. Only captain (Ohi), this weeks transfer (Ruud) and Rolantsson blanked. Not sure who to buy next week. I want Zahid and Jevtovic, but I don't want to sell any of my current midfielders: Helland, Haugen, Andersen, Adegbenro, A. Sigurdarson.

Think I might save my FT so I can use 2FT to bring Zahid in next GW.

Forgot about the blank after Brann. Scratch that.

I've bought Jevtovic (for Midtsjo) but guess you already have Helland.
Welcome back btw - reckon Radiohead & Foo Fighters alone make for a great weekend.

Could do with both, great fixtures.

Thanks! Yeah, Foo Fighters were amazing. Not as big of a fan as I used to be, but what an amazing show. The Killers and Frank Carters & the Rattlesnakes blew me away as well, so many great performances and great weather.

Fixtures good, but means losing another decent mid as you say. Of yours I think Adegbenro's fixtures appeal least.

Saw foo fighters at wembley a while ago, but yeah more a fan of the Nirvana end of things (good grief etc).

0.1 short of Adegbenro>Jevtovic, so I'll wait then. Some uncertainty with Jevtovic's loan expiring in August, but I expect them to either sign him permanently or extend the loan.

Currently on vacation so I could not follow the league last weekend. Had 2 FTs, one of which I used on Jevtovic (for Midtsjo) just now.

Tromso, Odd, Valerenga, Haugesund have blanks next week, right? I would bring an Odd defender but I won't, now.

I might ship Kirkeskov out. No clean sheets in 4 games and Sogndal, Molde, Haugesund and Brann in next fixtures.

Or I can keep him and get Ohi out instead. 4 straight blanks and difficult fixtures (kind of). What do you say?

    1. MTPockets
      9 years, 14 days ago

Guess it depends who'd replace them. Neither are great at the moment.
Ramboros wrote about some potential Ohi replacements above. I'm undecided.

Veldwijk - Obviously in good form. Sogndal has conceded the most goals (9) from set pieces this season.

Seck - Same reason. 8 goals conceded from set pieces by Stabæk.

Brustad(BBS if you don't own him) - Viking has the worst defensive record in the league.

Hajradinovic - Tromsø is in terrible shape.

Be aware that Veldwijk's loan is expiring at the end of July and he's not likely to stay. Only three more games for him (most likely).

Oh, I see it's already been mentioned. He's likely to go to Vitesse in Netherlands it seems.

Would love some input on bench order here. I've had a lot of luck with 4 at the back, I think it's the right decision this week too - but open to feedback.

    Dyngeland

Hedenstad (kri) Reginiussen (kri) Rolantsson (VIF) Seck (STA)

Jevtovic (kri) Knudtzon (SIF) Braathen (VIF) Sødlund (STA)

    Sigurdarsson (VIK, K) Mos (sog)

Bench: Ruud (SAR), Brochmann (san), Lindberg (odd), Fernandez (banned)

Also, any 1-2 weeks punt to consider before I use my first wildcard? I got 4,3 ITB, 1 free transfer.

Maybe Lindberg > Veldwijk and bench Sødlund?

      1. MTPockets
        9 years, 13 days ago

Or yes maybe Veldwijk as you still have wc, although I'd play Sødlund.

I'm benching Hedenstad (for Rolantsson, Ruud, Seck). Kristiansund not bad of late. Ruud has some attacking-points potential and S08 not as good away.

Punt - Andersen (as you already have Jevtovic and Brann mid). Perhaps Svendsen if he's back.

Does anyone play a La Liga fantasy league?

Long time reader but only my 2nd ever post here, the first where I try to discuss anything of note 🙂

Enjoying Fantasy Eliteserien. Currently 20k overall; third (out of six) in Wales which I'm aiming to win. It's definitely trickier than FPL but a good challenge, nice not having to worry about chips. Thanks to all sharing their Norwegian knowledge on here, it's been fun learning a bit about the league too.

Mixed week just gone, faith in Reginiussen, Aron Sigurdarson and Mos paid off. Also got Zahid in, however I only VCd him and also benched Stokke for Koomson.

Anyway, BB Sigurdarson looks like the striker to have at the moment. If Zahid has Brann away in GW15 and no fixture in GW16, is it worth taking him straight back out for a hit to free up funds for Sigurdarson? Mortensen or Mos would be the striker making way.

Assuming BBS is ok - apparently "went off early with what appeared to be precaution for a potential muscle injury" above - I'd probably do that (losing Mortensen). Others may not agree though as Zahid's in good form.

Hey mate. Good to have you involved.

I've had Zahid for 3 weeks (and he was suspended for one of those). He's served me well in that time but I'm planning to get rid this week for Haugen.

I also agree that Siggy is a priority for you - great captaincy option this week... so long as he's fit!

I don't recommend taking hits in this game, but I guess it could work out if you minimize the damage by also captaining Sigurdarson.

    Hey guys, been a while!

I've finally turned things around in this silly old game. Green arrows for five weeks straight have brought me from 44K to 15K. Saved a transfer this week, and can't really figure out who to transfer out from midfield. Any pointers?

    Leciejewski
    Hedenstad Lundström Ruud
    Andersen Braaten Jevtovic Haugen Kassi
    Sigurdarson Mos

    Mortensen Ryerson Moe

    Thinking Lundström -> Stølas.

Also, if Odd lose big time this week again, it's a bye for Ruud. Cheers, guys!

Nice midfield - no reason to touch that.

Stølås has a blank next week so just make sure you've got that covered

Cheers mate. Stølås for Lundstrøm or Ruud?

I like my mid too, I just really want to fit Gyasi in somehow... but too afraid to touch Braaten, and Kassi looks in fine form. The others are untouchable atm

Probably agree on Gyasi- especially since you already have mos. I got rid of Braaten last week which may come back to bite me!

I'm keeping Ruud for now but might be hard to keep faith for too much longer!
