Gameweek 13 was pretty low scoring so we’ll be hoping for more goals for the next set of fixtures, which kick off on Saturday.

FANTASY LEAGUE STANDINGS

Colmans Mustard extended his lead in the Fantasy Football Scout League to 15 points after a respectable score of 68 points this gameweek.

In the H2H league Dutch Warriors got another win and remains on top with 11 victories and 2 losses.

STOCK CHECKS

Rising

Amin Nouri (5.6, Brann, defender)

He’s continuing his amazing form recently. Over his last six matches he has scored once, assisted four, kept three clean sheets and picked up six bonus points from his right back berth. He’s now scored eight points less than Rolantsson. Be wary though, Nouri is without a contract at the end of the season and has refused to sign a new one. There’s a chance he’ll leave Brann in the summer.

Abdoulaye Seck (4.7, Sandefjord, defender)

This man never stops impressing. Another 15 point haul this Gameweek, on the back of a goal and clean sheet, propels him to third in the total points table. Who would expect that from a 4.0 priced centre back at the start of the season?

Aleksander Megalvis (4.3, Lillestrøm, defender)

Mentioned as a differential ahead of this Gameweek, he delivered a goal, a shut out and maximum bonus points. This followed two assists in his previous two run outs, in which he has proved an excellent out of position prospect, playing on the right side of midfield. But, with Knudtzon suspended next gameweek there could be a major re-shuffle in the lineups if a striker impresses in the abscent of Knudtzon up front.

Fredrik Knudsen (5.0, Haugesund, defender)

I could have picked any of the Haugesund defenders after three consecutive clean sheets. They are very much on form and shut Rosenborg out this Gameweek. Knudsen has picked up bonus points in three of the last five Gameweeks  which makes him the stand out option, although Stølås (5.4) and Haraldseid (4.9) are also good picks, especially as both are on set pieces. Bråtveit in goal is another option.

Haris Hajradinovic (7.2, Haugesund, midfielder)

This is a very interesting one. Before the season I thought he would be a good pick, but for much of the campaign he’s been anonymous. That all changed in the last two games when Haugesund changed formation, with Hajradinovic scoring once and assisting another in a new role behind a lone striker. In one of these games, against Rosenborg, he racked up a remarkable eight shots. Last season’s tally of four goals and seven assists did indicate he can prosper when afforded the opportunity and it looks like he is finally doing that this season. If he can continue to be fielded in this advanced role he looks an excellent acquisition for your squad.

Daniel Braaten (7.0, Brann, midfielder)

Coming back from a one game suspension, he provided a goal and an assist as well as maximum bonus points. He has now picked up 16 bonus points so far this season, more than any other player. He’s getting hard to ignore.

Björn Sigurdarson (9.8, Molde, forward)

Sigurdarson scored in his third consecutive home game. Do we now have a reliable captaincy option when at home? With home games against Viking and Strømsgodset coming up I certainly would consider bringing him in soon. One of the top scoring players in the game and one of the few premium priced players actually delivering points.

Falling

Erling Knudtzon (8.1, Lillestrøm, midfielder)

Knudtzon let down a couple of thousand new owners in the home game against Viking. He did hit the post, but he also (wrongly) got a yellow card which means he’s now suspended for next gameweek.

Jeppe Moe (4.2, Stabæk, defender)

Stabæk has shown over the last couple of gGmeweeks that they’re not a top team, but more like the team we expected them to be. They have conceded 12 goals over the last three games. Moe picked up his third yellow of the season and is now suspended for the home fixture against Kristiansund.

Birger Meling (6.3, Rosenborg, defender) and all Rosenborg players

Rosenborg again failed to play well and keep a clean sheet. They have only kept one clean sheet over the last eight Gameweeks, way less than expected. On the top of that Meling managed to get sent off. To be honest, I  could have put every Rosenborg player on this list.

Anders Trondsen (7.6, Sarpsborg, midfielder)

The most owned midfielder in the game left after 39 minutes with an injury. After he finally produced some points over the last few Gameweeks, this isn’t good news to owners.

Mos (9.0, Aalesund, forward)

After looking like the only reliable player in this game, he has now blanked three Gameweeks in a row. With though fixtures coming up, is it now time to look elsewhere?

DIFFERENTIALS FOR GAMEWEEK 14

Daniel Fredheim Holm (6.3, Vålerenga, midfielder)

He’s been showing good form recently. He’s now started three consecutive games as a right winger, after starting the season injured. He’s picked up two assists and four bonus points over those three games. I’d back him to do well in a home fixture against Lillestrøm. Vålerenga will be boosted by the return of Zahid from injury as well.

Luc Kassi (6.0, Stabæk, midfielder)

A key man for Stabæk is returning from suspension. Prior to this enforced break he had picked up a goal and an assist in two games. I expect Stabæk to get a win again in a home fixture against Kristiansund, and I expect Kassi to be involved in Stabæk’s goals.

Mikael Ingebrigtsen (5.8, Tromsø, midfielder)

Tromsø is in pretty poor form these days, but they have a good chance of turning it around at home against Sandefjord. Ingebrigtsen started up front for Tromsø against Molde and has been looking very dangerous lately. He hit the bar twice in the previous two games and has scored three times in the last five.

So if I'm going through to the next round of the cup

Let me know if you think the following is possible

    Me: Jevtovic and Hedenstad
    Him: Jensen and Mendy

Chances of me winning by 12 points?...

Rosenberg CS and Jevtovic goal and 3 bonus would do it...

Doubtful. To win I need Jevtovic to get 13+ points which is unlikely.

Lucky 9 points of the bench then. Didn't even know Helland left with an injury last match. My decision to go with Seck over Ohi didn't matter in the end.

53 points with Reginiussen to go. Decent enough.

Only 50 with Jevtovic to go. Hoping Jevtovic beats Reginiussen's points to win a H2H 🙂 RBK to win 2-1 with Jevtovic involved with assist or goal would do.

Transfers next week a bit of a headache. I want a Haugesund defender, Hajradinovic and Zahid, all blanks. Tempted by a third Rosenborg player, but could easily become a rotation nightmare with CL qualifiers. Then you have players that might leave after the next two gameweeks.

Currently I have to play Moe and Ohi against Brann at home and Mendy against Strømsgodset away. Assuming Helland's fit and no other injuries, I'm tempted to replace Moe. I have 2FT, but prefer to save one. 4.9 budget. Haraldseid would have been perfect, but he blanks. Maybe Megalvis, but not the best fixture.

    1. MTPockets
      9 years, 1 month ago

Yep, fixtures/blanks don't lend themselves to any easy obvious transfer. I might lose A.Sigurdarson but can't find great option at the price. Alternative is losing Moe as you suggest, or Linde.

I need to use one transfer but no idea what right now.

      1. Niemi
        • 12 Years

Considering A. Sigurdarson out as well, but as you say there aren't many good options. Jradi is tempting me, but I would still have to play Moe against Brann.

        1. MTPockets
          9 years, 1 month ago

Same issue with Moe. Only 1m ITB though and given form/blanks nobody really works for 5.1m (KBK/VIK don't do clean sheets, AAFK not much better, LSK rubbish fixture, SOG generally bad fixtures).

May end up just replacing Linde. But - Leciejewski would be nice but doesn't rotate well with Lie for long, Rosenborg may have turned a corner so not keen on using spot for Hansen. etc

            • 12 Years

I'm happy with Leceijewski myself, but he's likely to leave Brann in the summer.

Yeah, not sure who to replace Moe with. Maybe Megalvis.

            1. MTPockets
              9 years, 1 month ago

I didn't know that about Leciejewski. After what gw are you referring to by 'in the summer'?

Maybe Melgalvis, but S08 away probably worse than Brann at home. Then I think their fixtures are pretty even until GW23, except LSK have 2 away games in a row (18-19).

However as a punt on relative CS + G/A points, Megalvis is certainly winning now.

Summer break, after GW17. Nothing confirmed, but there has been bids from a polish club and I think he's likely to go.

Might be a waste of transfer. I own Rolantsson, Reginiussen and Ruud who I'll play every week so not much room for Megalvis.

Dead on 50/50 on paper I'd say..... a 0-0 result would put advantage you though, Reginiussen is more prone to bonus.... and Jevtovic is often involved in a scoring game.... you have a slight advantage then...... YOUR players make the difference....

After looking at form and fixtures I'll probably do A. Sigurdarson to Jradi, assuming Helland's fit and no injuries. Strømsgodset have three home fixtures in the next four, so I think a double up with Ulland Andersen could pay off. Both are great fantasy assets.

I'm pretty Mendy handles the ball. It's difficult to see because of the speed, but there is no other explanation that fits all the different angles. There's also a deflection from him whose name will mark this post for review, making it extra difficult to see.

Need to rethink my Sigurdarson>Jradi sub. Can't bench Mendy on current form and not sure if I dare to bench Ohi again (even though I'm playing double Brann defence).

I guess it's either Moe out or Helland out if he's not fit. Or take a chance on Vilhjalmson in for Ohi if he starts.

Benched 29 points.. any worse? At least I get 9 points in for Helland.

Benched 24 here. Actually looking forward to my players blanking next week to save on bench headaches

      18. The most I've had this season. Benching Ohi for sødlund hurt

Made some real good decisions these 2 last weeks but still find it difficult to gain ground. Frustrating.

2 good C scores in a row, benched the right players but just not enough.

Also find it strange I only earned 2 x 1 baps this week.
At least through in the cup it seems and now 2 ft's, though I would like to save one.

Hey mate. Looks like you had a couple of good weeks, though the -8 took the gloss off last week. Still, a few more strong weeks like this one and you'll soon be back amongst it.

Aye, only thing to do is keep going.
Felt I had to take that -8, couldn't stand seeing those RBK players. Of course Helland exploded instantly, though instead I got 2 good C's, that week in Zahid and this week in Siggy.

What to do with Mortensen (S08)?
Highly owned but not producing much. Thinking of shipping him and switching to 3-5-2/4-4-2 instead. Already have Ohi and Sigurdarson.

I would keep for a good home fixture this week and the look to move on after that

Same & probably keeping this week. Unless Vilhjalmsson starts - then I need to decide between losing him or Ohi.

Half way through and highest OR ao far! 1080. Shame Mendy's 13 points are stuck on my bench.

Bids from multiple clubs for Adegbenro. Multiple german clubs and Rosenborg interested, probably more clubs. No bid accepted yet. Viking prefer to sell him to a foreign club.
