After Aaron Mooy fired Huddersfield to victory over Newcastle, we make our way to Wembley as Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea go head-to-head in Sunday’s final fixture.

A victory for Spurs today would set a new club record of 15 successive home league wins, yet their record in competitive matches at Wembley – two wins, one draw and seven losses – is anything but convincing.

Subject to over 164,000 transfers out last week, Harry Kane has now gone 11 Premier League matches in August without finding the net.

Yet Kane was still the second most captained player for Gameweek 2, handed the armband by 526,000+ FPL managers as he looks to recover from last Sunday’s blank at Newcastle.

Both Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli plundered the points at St James’ Park to put Kane in the shade.

They also combined for both goals in the corresponding fixture last season, with Eriksen supplying assists for Alli’s pair of strikes in a 2-0 home win over the champions.

For Chelsea, Alvaro Morata is handed his first start after emerging from the bench to bag a goal and assist in last week’s shock home loss to Burnley.

But there’s no Eden Hazard as he fails to recover from an ankle injury in time for the Wembley encounter.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Thoughts on who to transfer JWP to?? Straight swap to another 5.5 or wider changes and hit needed?

    Foster - Elliot
    Luiz - Cedric - Mee - Simpson - Rangel
    Mane - Mhki - KdB - JWP - Carroll
    Lukaka - Kane - Mounie

Firmino against Arsenal looks like a decent captain pick for next week. He has a good record against them. Just hope Firmino goes unscathed in the midweek CL qualifier.

Too big a risk IMO. For me Firminho is never a captain material even against bottom teams, he goes too deep too often and Mane/Salah does his job.

I think he is capable of big scores but its very hard to predict. If you feeling punty then go on.

Right, would appreciate some advice here:

    Firmino & Willian -> Chica & Eriksen (-4)
    OR
    Kane & Willian -> Jesus & Eriksen (-4)

Would you be tempted to do any of these?
Seems mad to sell Kane before Burnley at home, but he's getting on my nerves now...
Also, don't like bringing in Jesus before he's played, but looks like I have to act today to due Eriksen prise rise.

Hold on, you're pressing the panic button for no reason. See how Jesus looks tomorrow and just do Kane to Jesus if you think he will outscore Kane next weekend. Get Eriksen the subsequent weekend, this way you avoid taking the hits too.

    DDG, Elliot
    Monreal, Dawson, Stephens, TAA, 4.0,
    Mooy, Ritchie, Mkhitaryan, KDB, Carroll,
    Kane, Lukaku, Gabbi,

    1.5 ITB with 1 FT.

Should I wildcard? Not sure I really want/need to. I wanna get Monreal out, but who for? Ritchie, KDB and Kane are all on their last warnings too.

2 days back people were calling him rubbish. He won't be playing that high once Chelsea attackers are back in full strength. Remember, he bombed forward cause Chelsea were using Morata as the hold up ST today which meant only Willian and later Pedro and Mitchy were making forward runs.

      1. Burton
        • 16 Years

I'm not necessarily saying people should buy Alonso, but when you say:

"He won't be playing that high once Chelsea attackers are back in full strength. Remember, he bombed forward cause Chelsea were using Morata as the hold up ST today"

You are dead wrong. He really does play that far forward normally. Check out heat maps from last season if you like, he's regularly the 2nd most advanced Chelsea player.

        1. My Name Is Pepu
          • 9 Years

I'm well aware about it, plus I was an Alonso owner for most part of last season (got him when he was 5.9m) cause I watched him play at Fioren and knew he would do well under Conte. What I meant was that it looked like Conte had given him the license to be upfront all the time. At times, he looked he's the only forward player for Chelsea which proved handy when he smashed that 2nd goal.

That been said, he won't be doing it match after match and taking a hit to occupy a 7m defender doesn't really make sense. Remember, you're not getting his GW2 points, it's long gone which the bandwagon won't realize.
