Gameweek 2 concludes at the Etihad Stadium as title favourites Manchester City host Everton.

Fantasy managers will be fixated on the City attack, with Sergio Aguero backed by over 214,000 (4.9%) of Fantasy Premier League managers with the Gameweek captaincy. In total, 39% of Aguero’s 543,000+ owners have trusted him with the armband.

The Argentine is off the mark for the season thanks to his goal at Brighton on the opening weekend, but if you’re a believer in player records against specific clubs, this will be a testing night for Aguero.

Everton have proved his toughest Premier League opponent over the years. Aguero has scored just twice over 11 Premier League appearances and has failed to net in his last six appearances against the Merseysiders. He’s also missed two of two penalties against them.

Elsewhere, Aguero’s strike partner Gabriel Jesus is captained by more than 86,000 managers (2.1%). He goes into tonight’s encounter having scored seven goals and supplied four assists over his last eleven Premier League outings, despite blanking at the Amex Stadium last time out.

Meanwhile, Kevin De Bruyne is captained by 82,000 managers and backed by an FPL ownership of 27.1%. He also returned a blank on the south-coast and will doubtless require points here to stave off further sales. The Belgian boasts two goals and five assists in his last five league outings. Like Aguero, he missed a penalty in this fixture last season.

For Everton, Wayne Rooney heads into this match backed by 16.8% ownership although more than 92,000 have him on their bench. Over 51% of Jordan Pickford’s 485,000+ owners have also chosen to keep the keeper in reserve with City backed for goals.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Foster | Elliot
    Trippier | Jones | Yoshida | Mee | Long
    Mané | Eriksen | Alli | Pogba | Mooy
    Lukaku | Chicharito | Gabbiadini

WC team, yay or nay ?
Don't think I'll do it, will probably stand still, but it looks good to me.

Both Eriksen and Alli seems like an overkill but seems alright to me otherwise.

Things we can say about KDB tonight:
    - Dangerous with 11 men on the pitch, a class above his teammates, sometimes their furthest forward man. Always available on the edge of the box
    - Essentially a quarter back with 10 men, CBs are advancing higher than him at times. He is always available on the edge of the box, but it's the same box as he was attacking in the first half.

This. Him playing deeply is a reflection of the circumstance and not something to read into for future weeks.

Higher, but yes, deeper than 11 men. He is about 15 yards outside of the box on attacks, instead of 5 or less.

He was the furthest forward player in about 1/3 of their attacks before the sending off. More advanced than one of Jesus/Kun about half the time, maybe more. Looked good.

Still don't think he is worth 10m, but there is some odd hysteria on here (as usual, im often involved tbh). No way I'd sell for a hit before Bournemouth.

Someone remind me of that new rule change to do with retrospective bans for simulation that results in a red card? Don't think it applies here, just forgot what the rule was.

I want to wildcard to this but I might just slow roll them in. I'll wildcard next week anyway.

    Foster Elliott
    kompany hegazi trippier Bertrand long
    Kdb Pogba mkhitaryan richarlison Carroll
    Kane Lukaku DCL

Might just bring richarlison and hegazi this week though. Not taking risk with Man City vs poor Bournemouth defence. ITS SO TEMPTING TO WILDCARD THOUGH. WILL HAVE TO JUST MIDWEEK GAMES AND INTERNATIONAL BREAK TBH

What about a 3rd option of eriksen and Rooney?

        1. Disco Pat

Eriksen has returns in both games as has Rooney
Even when both alli and eriksen score, eriksen tends to get the better bonus as stats show.
Frimhino can be up and down and will share the spoils with salah and mane while Rooney will be the main man at Everton.
          Another striker option is chicaritio

              Mrmajeika
Chicaritio for gabbi makes sense. The other one is tougher. I think you need to have one of eriksen/kane/alli and at present would favour eriksen. But kane is so explosive when he gets going you need to either already have him or have the funds to get directly in one or two transfers.
What's your full squad look like?

KDB is a brilliant player. The fact he will probably still push 200 points playing in a deeper role proves this.

He is playing as a CDM at the moment because City are playing away with 10 men and its working. Who are we to question it.

I'll transfer him out for Eriksen but don't be surprised when he scores 10+ in the next three games. 20BPS without any goals or assists right now.
