Gameweek 4 gets underway with the showpiece fixture as Manchester City host Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium.

From a Fantasy perspective, the focus will clearly be on the attacking players.

City’s strikers head into the contest with impressive statistics to back them up. Sergio Aguero has scored in each of his five home meetings with Liverpool since arriving in the Premier League. As for Gabriel Jesus, he has been involved in 12 goals in his 11 starts, scoring eight and providing four assists.

But they will face a super confident Liverpool, boasting their own in-form “forward”. Roberto Firmino is the most bought asset over the international break, having found his way into 374,000+ squads since the Gameweek 3 deadline. The Brazilian has scored two goals and earned two assists in his four appearances against City.

Then we have the twin threats of Sadio Mane and Mo Salah – when they’ve started this season, they’ve scored, with five goals between them so far.

Salah is backed by over 238,000 new owners ahead of today’s encounter, only Henrikh Mkhitaryan (241,000+) saw more traffic among FPL midfielders since Gameweek 3.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Ball was there to be won, had his eyes on the ball and was trying to control it. Why should he anticipate the keeper in that situation. Keeper recklessly threw his head towards the ball, stupid not brave. Seperate issue being keepers being allowed outside the box, brings nothing to the game. Let's just red card every overhead kick or volley that the boot is head height. Would it have been a red if he just missed the keeper and controlled the ball? No.

    I Noticed there was no red for Mane getting it in the ribs earlier.

    I think they're both reds. Some form of consistency would be nice.
