Dugout Discussion – Stoke vs Man United

Saturday’s events conclude at the bet365 as Manchester United bid to reclaim the Premier League top spot with a victory at Stoke City.

Jose Mourinho’s side are awash with major Fantasy talent as Romelu Lukuku heads into the match as the top captain pick for a fourth successive Gameweek.

Over 179,000 (37%) back the Belgian with the armband who is under pressure to deliver after goals from the next three most popular picks – Harry Kane, Alexandre Lacazette and Alvaro Morata – earlier in the day.

Paul Pogba also boasts a swell of support. Owned by 1.8 million (37.5%), he wears the armband for over 203,000 managers this evening.

Meanwhile, Henrikh Mkhitaryan goes into the game as the most signed midfielder ahead of Gameweek 4, having claimed another 236,000 owners.

With Ander Herrera recalled to the Man Utd starting XI, it could be that Pogba is shifted up behind Lukaku this evening, with Mkhitaryan starting wide on the right.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

The gameweek 4 template is already looking totally different to the GW3 template. I worry that many GW3 wildcards have been wasted.

I'm just laughing on my way to the bank. People rage WC so easily. Some GMs in my mini league have already used WC and FT haha.

I know. So glad I saved. The template is almost deliberately, comically different from last week.

    Lukaku + Mee > Morata + Bavies?

Already own Pogba so have some Man U coverage.

    Crazy?

    - Signed by Spurs for £4.3m
    - Hardly ever plays and looks like a liability any time he does get a chance
    - Plays absolutely dreadful for Austria
    - Gets dropped by Austria

Stoke buy him for £18m. Football gonna' football

Don't know why people are moaning about Lukaku. You know what you get with him. He is the type of player who comes into the game in moments - he isn't going to be involved most of the time. Just be patient and when the chances come he will usually take them.

Disagree. Rashford is more involved in the game than Lukaku. But Lukaku isn't a game involvement guy. He is just a guy you give the ball to when you want him to put it in the net.

The Arsenal result today shows how destabilising Ox's situation was. Wenger was basically picking a team to give Ox game time. Now he is gone, players are back playing in their natural positions and they start playing better.
