Sunday treats us to a pair of Gameweek 4 fixtures, with Burnley hosting Crystal Palace in the early 1.30pm kick off.

After picking up four points in testing trips to Chelsea and Spurs, we’re keeping a keen eye on the Clarets’ budget options ahead of further home encounters against Huddersfield, West Ham, Newcastle and Swansea between now and Gameweek 12.

Such a schedule means that Ben Mee is Burnley’s most popular pick with 8% Fantasy Premier League ownership, though playmaker Robbie Brady and new boy Chris Wood are also on the radar after combining for the late leveler at Wembley last time out.

With no goals and no points after three matches, the Eagles’ disastrous start already has many suggesting that Frank de Boer has one foot through the exit door.

The big surprise is that the cut-price Ruben Loftus-Cheek is nowhere to be seen, despite recovering from a groin problem. Over 349,000 managers benched the on-loan midfielder for Gameweek 4, with 91,000+ selling him on.

And there’s little respite on the horizon for the Selhurst Park outfit, with clashes against both Manchester clubs and Chelsea in the following four.

Weighing up selling Redmond, just noticed he features on both Jonty's goals and assists imminent table.

Can anyone whose actually watched them tell me whether he looks like getting points or are those stats lying?

    Davies - Alonso - Jones - Naughton
    Salah - Eriksen - Mkhi
    Lukaku - Morata - Firmino
    _____________________________
    Krul: RLC, Carroll, Mbemba

These sound like plausible moves? Lukaku + Salah > Kane + Pogba

Would leave Mkhi and Pogba to 'hopefully' cover Lukaku.

Any reason not to do it? Advice much welcome.

Depends on how often you'd captain Lukaku vs Kane/Morata I guess. If you think they're better captaincy options then sure, not much point keeping Lukaku.

Don't think you can cover him as such though. If there's a mid you think could score more than Pogba then go with them, even if it means less Lukaku cover.

Sound advice Sully cheers for that. It does pretty much come down to bigger captaincy appeal doesn't it.
Not many mids below Pogba's price or thereabouts that i fancy to score better though, would likely be him and have exact money to do so, have to give it a think and decide 🙂

I'm in the top 1% at the moment (30,000th), but my GW rankings have been 400k, 500k, 1.6m, 300k.

Consistency will get you there. Get a GW ranking of 500k every single week and your overall ranking will be in the top 1k by the end, I'd imagine.

My original point was that when I was playing 8 or 9 years ago, a 1m rank would be a disaster, because there were barely 2m players. Now a 1m ranking would be comparable to a 250k ranking back then. I should be happy with a 1m ranking now, but I still associate it with a bad week.
