“This is how the ScoutCast was meant to be” exclaimed Granville.

He’s not wrong. If you’ve successfully avoided this brand of nonsense to this point, episode 232 provides a less than gentle introduction.

Just don’t expect me to take a beating every week.

That’s certainly what pans out over this lengthy landmark episode which finds me rolling the punches after my “ill-timed” Wildcard.

Granville and Jonty take turns to dish out the blows, while Andy and Az make uncomfortable spectators.

Once the scuffle dies down, we do our best to address the latest community questions, assessing strikers, mid-price midfielders and the latest wing-backs demanding our attention.

But, for once, that forms the undercard for the “big fight”.

    7 of 11 play late Sat or Sunday. It will be worth the wait but might be painful for 40 or so hours 🙂

    Git myself into a proper pickle this week - did Gabi-Firm with my FT - fine. When Pog got injured, decided to take a -8 to do Pog/Kaku - Doucore/Kane to avoid price changes.

    So... ended up with the following;

    Foster Elliot
    Jones Bavies Stephens Mee Rangel
    Eriksen Docoure Salah Mooy Carroll
    Firm Kane Jesus

    So currently sat on -8. But I really dont like the team now so thinking of WC - just 2 things I aint sure of - if I WC now, I wont get -8 points will I?

    Also, I had Lukaku from the start so if I bring him back in will I pay current price or the original price I paid?

    Gah - shouldnt have tinkered, was doing ok...

        That's optimistic but in principle I agree - that minimum of 10 for one is high
        More likely to see all 3 get 2 followed by 2* 15 pointers 🙂

    I am trying to hold off wc until the next international break.

    mane to choupo and mee to davis (-4 and 3.7mil). I would then play a 4-4-2

    Next week I would Mounie to Vardy or Firm and play 4-3-3

    What do you think?

    The easiest move would just be mane to salah, but then less flexibility as i would be missing out on davies and kane

      I would play the Wc with that bro. Coupa is big risk..Gross has stronger stats and is proven before Fross + Bdavies may help you survive

    Comparison stats Salah v Mkhi not as clear cut as first thought, however I think I'm more comfortable doubling with Liverpool and Utd than tripling on Utd.

    Silva is also in my reckoning but he just doesn't feel like a great fantasy pick - Salah could easily rack up a 20pointer at the rate he's missing chances...

    I've 1.7 ITB, so 9.8m to spend on a Pogba replacement. FT burned on Mane > Eriksen.

    Only slight caveat in goin Salah would be for funds..going Silva leaves exact funds for a Bertrand > Alonso switch next week. That said, planning ahead has been biting me so far, and even going Salah would leave enough ITB for the likes of Kolastank next week.
