“This is how the ScoutCast was meant to be” exclaimed Granville.

He’s not wrong. If you’ve successfully avoided this brand of nonsense to this point, episode 232 provides a less than gentle introduction.

Just don’t expect me to take a beating every week.

That’s certainly what pans out over this lengthy landmark episode which finds me rolling the punches after my “ill-timed” Wildcard.

Granville and Jonty take turns to dish out the blows, while Andy and Az make uncomfortable spectators.

Once the scuffle dies down, we do our best to address the latest community questions, assessing strikers, mid-price midfielders and the latest wing-backs demanding our attention.

But, for once, that forms the undercard for the “big fight”.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

3 strikers are must imo due to:
      - premium strikers firing well and poor show from budget strikers
      - budget mids are doing reasonably well

          A or C
But A wud be my preference due to better value for money from Def than Mid..

    foster - (elliot)
    Bailly - stephens - yoshida - trippier - (marriapa)
salah - de bruyne - willian - redmond - (carrol)
    kane - lukaku - (solanke)

decided i'm going to take a hit instead of wildcard, these are my moves so far:
    Yoshida > Dunk
    De bruyne - Erikson
    Redmond - Ritchie
    What do you think?

I'd look at Stephens and Willian before De Bruyne and Redmond.

I'd wildcard that tbh. 2 non starters on your bench, 4 big rotation risks and Redmond. Think a hit is just papering over the cracks.

Really want to do Stephens to Davies, but need to free up 0.5 at cost of -4, any thoughts...

    Foster / Elliot
    Alonso / Kolasinac / Cedric / Stephens / Mbemba
    Salah / Mkhi / Willian / RLC / Carroll
    Kane / Lukaku / Chicharito

I've thought about downgrading Willian and Chich, but don't who to?
Other option I thought about was Lukaku to Jesus

Willian to Ritchie? Not the most exciting transfer in the world.

im thinking with the wc team, i have the flexibility to change the strikers around easily. next week i can swap morata to laca for instance.

with this wc team ive also got 0.5 mil in the bank to play around

I've had a front 3 of Lukaku Kane and Firm since Week 1. I'm now waivering on kaku. I'm wondering whether moving him on to Jesus and using the money to upgrade Richie to a Ramsey or similar might be a better use of the money. Anyone got this front 3 and getting itchy fingers? Or am I over thinking as Lukaku keeps scoring?

    1. Feloh

didn't have that front 3 and I settled on it after my WC

I wouldn't move away from the front three that everyone seems to be trying to get!

Also I started with the same 3, downgraded Firminho to boost my Mids and regretted it.

Care to take a glance at this? FT used, 0.7 itb

    Elliot (Foster)
    Jones Cedric Daniels (Naughton, Mariappa)
    Eriksen Salah Ritchie Willian* (RLC)
    Kane Lukaku Chicharito

So Willian's pitch time is the worry here. Couple of options:

    A) Save, play Willian
    B) Save, play RLC (in case he's in contention to start)
    C) Willian -> Choupo-Moting/Brady -4 (sets up Daniels/Cedric -> Davies next week)

needless transfer especially for a hit
