Saturday’s action concludes at Wembley Stadium as Tottenham Hotspur entertain Swansea City in the 5.30pm kick-off.

All eyes are on Harry Kane after he scored twice in each of his last two appearances for the north London outfit over the last few days.

Over 20% of FPL managers have handed him the armband this week – second, once again, to Romelu Lukaku’s 30% backers.

Kane was handed the armband by 17 of the top 100 heading into Gameweek 5, while team-mates Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli were selected by nine and seven of that elite group respectively.

All three start along with Heung-Min Son but Mauricio Pochettino sorely disappoints the 345,000+ who drafted in Ben Davies by benching the Welshman against his former side.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

I finally accept! There's no way you can win fpl with logic. Transfered hegazi in last week. Subbed before 60 mins after conceding 2 goals. Brought bavies in for hegazi, rested. Brings Kane in for a hit and captains (who scored three braces in the international break, against Everton away, vs Dortmund, none of these are easy fixtures) Blanks at home to effin Swansea who have conceded the most close range shots. *sigh* It's not the wisest who win fpl its the luckiest. Of course my head to head rival this week just so happened to own stones silva and aguero, ffs! I'm not even going to transfer anyone anymore. It seems i keep ruining my team by trying to fix it. I'll leave the armband on Kane and if he wants to blank till the end of the season so be it! I've had enough of these mind games!

Yeah I do agree that the knowledge and experience factor in. But look at what a difference in captaining two equally potent strikers with easy fixtures home and away. Kane 4pts Aguero 40 pts. In just one gameweek the guy 2nd placed behind me in my minileague is now 36 pts ahead. Lol which is more than total points for 8 players inc captain I've fielded today. Before today if I had asked you to choose between Kane and Aguero you'd have gone Kane, no contest. Because Watford looked abit less likely to concede goals than Swansea and City were playing away. Stats don't always predict the result.

Aguero, a striker in his prime, one of the best for several seasons now when fit, scores lots of goals and is doing better then Kane and Lukaku. Go figure. Next lesson for fpl managers, rain is wet..

Aye, but Kane and lukaku both have double the ownership of Aguero. The latter is probably the more established world class player as well.

I don't own him for the record. I'm just not too surprised that he is a contender for top goal scorer if fit (always the big if with him). He is world class. It won't be hindsight either to say Hazard/Sanchez are going to score lots of points.

Just interesting that so many of us don't have him when he is such an obvious pick.

Guys I need to crowbar aguero into my team for peace of mind if nothing else.

Here are my options. One for no hit and the other for a whopping (-8)

For no hit ( 2 free tranfers)

    a) Luiz Morato > 4.5 Aguero

    b) Luiz Abraham Lossl Eriksen > Ward Aguero Elliot Shakiri

    Or

    c) kane > Aguero

    Team is

    Lossl Forster
    Luiz Davies Hegazi Maguire Mbembe
    Eriksen Salah Mkhi Ritchie Cork
    Abraham Kane Morato.

I auiet fancied b) but as I write Eriksen into the ousted list the more I am thinking no.

I may be more prepared ro lise kane than eriksen. Am I mad!!

More than Kane, it's the Tottenham tempo (or lack of it) in the first half that caught my attention. May be Poch doesn't quite know how to take them to the next level. May end up being a Ranieri, Mark Jackson to his successor.

    Foster
    Davies, Jones, Suttner
    Willian, Eriksen, Mkhitaryan, Choupo-Moting
    Lukaku, Kane, Firmino

Subs: Elliott --- Stephens, Carroll, Long --- 0.3 ITB, 1 FT
