The Gameweek concludes at the Emirates Stadium, as Arsenal pay host to West Bromwich Albion.

In short, tonight’s match is very much an audition for Arsenal’s Fantasy assets, who will need to impress in order to enter our thinking for the Gameweeks ahead.

The Gunners have so far been a source of frustration, not least for manager Arsene Wenger.

Alexandre Lacazette has shown glimpses and flirted with our line-ups but goes into tonight’s match cast in the shadow of other heavy-hitters in attack. The Frenchman is still part of 10.2% of squads, though that total continues to dwindle.

Sead Kolasinac is another temptation and perhaps a more viable option.

He has impressed when handed the opportunities by Wenger and now seemingly cemented at left wing-back, he has the chance this evening to play his way into our defences. At 6.0 however, he will need to convince us to push funds into our backlines at a time when attacking players are very much the priority.

Alexis Sanchez could be one of those attacking options but his season has stalled due to injury and unrest to this point. He starts tonight and could easily become the headline act to spark Wildcards and transfer hits aplenty.

But, despite a miserable record at the Emirates, West Brom will surely prove a difficult barrier for Sanchez and Wenger’s attack.

Tony Pulis’ rearguard have conceded the fewest shots in the box in away matches this season (14) and the fewest big chances (2) – both records shared with leaders Manchester City.

They will also pose a threat to Arsenal at set-pieces. Craig Dawson – owned by 4.9% – scored a brace from corner kicks the last time these two teams met.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Am I reading the fixture list right - or is there genuinely 11 GW's in 6 weeks from the 18th Nov (GW8) to 1st January (GW22)? I know it's always been a crunch time period, but that seems mad. Will be absolutely brilliant mind you.

Don't think a WC is overly important here either, because if u collect 2x FT's going into GW8, you will actually have 13FT's in this 6 week period (13!), which is plenty to roll with injuries etc.

It also appears the top 4 teams for that extended horizon are - Man City, Chelsea, Spurs... so aiming for Hazard, Kun, Kane, Lukaku, with Jones & a Chelsea defender could reap huge rewards. Palace also right up there, their defence + RLC could be worth a look as Woy should have got them well drilled by GW8 starting.

Southampton & West Brom bottom of the pile, so getting rid of their defenders.

Utd also very high in that fixture list, hence Lukaku

Thats the reason I want to play WC in GW12

Fixture changes for some teams, especially my double Swansea and Saints plus getting Luka back would be easy

I had already earmarked RLC for gw 12 onwards, I think rotation in the big teams might be a issue. Son and Sane will be my punts over that period

I think either of Sané or Sterling (or maybe both) will actually be options over that period, they'll surely get a lot of chances with pep's merry go round. If one of Silva, Kun, Jesus, Sané, Sterling gets an injury, the other 4 become even better picks

Kola had to defend more with Sanchez on the left channel. As soon as Sanchez went off Kola was back bombing forward again, but only for last 5 mins or so

More attacking but weaker defensively. All of WBA chances were from their left side of attack. FPL is about points though, so maybe a better choice since Sanchez rules the left side atm

Hard to know, but I think he'll start minimum 6 of city's next 10 league games. And I think he'll score >70 points over those same 10 games, so that'll do for me.

Much being said about the free hit chip this week.

There are many scanarios that it can be used for

How many points gain would you consider a successful use of the chip? When compared to your usual side

Depends on Arsenal & united games which both could be hammerings. Also Chelsea vs Man City would be a low scoring game maybe even 0 0

That is what they generally are though, with not much choice or having to put all your eggs in one basket and ending up with players you don't want or at best an unbalanced team biased to a few clubs

Without King last season, it was a pretty average blank GW.

It's always a gamble - but the blank last year had people drafting on players from WBA, Swansea etc that they didn't really want going forward and being stuck with them. It's not how many points you get that week, it's about how many more points you get above the average and having a full playing team of the best players that week is, for me, the best time to play the chip

    4. Maximus Bonimus Pointimus
      • 15 Years

I think it'll be good for that little GW late in the year where if the bignguns make the FA Cup semis, then there is a reduced GW of rubbish teams, but some have DGW'sò & punt on their players for 1 week only.

Anyone watch the Arsenal game have thoughts on Rodriguez? I like a Mounie -> Rodriguez against a poor Watford defense for a 1 week punt the most now since Rodriguez could've had a hat trick with a little bit of luck.

    Any help Mods or Members
Any way I can exclude GW7 from the fixture ticker. I want to have a look at the fixtures post GW 7 and sort by difficulty, but it is accounting for GW7 as well.

    Save this team?

    De Gea
    Trippier - Kola - Yoshida
    Eriksen - Salah - Silva - Atsu
    Kane - Lukaku - Abraham

    Elliot, Carroll, Mee, Long

    Thanks!

I'd want to upgrade Abraham to Vardy possibly via a d/grade to DDG.

Would WC this team on International Break after GW 7?
    Foster
    Jones, Davies, Naughton
    Salah, Eriksen, Ramsey, Ritchie
    Kane, Lukaku, Chicharito
    Sub: Elliot, T.Carroll, Suttner, Long
Have 2 FT and 0.8 ITB

Planning to get Chelsea defender, D.Silva, Morata and Vardy on WC

As it stands, I would leave the WC to a later date. Not much wrong with your team.

This, no need to WC especially with 2 FTs that could fix the defence

Anyone considering Brady > Albrighton when Leicesters fixtures get better?

Nope, considering Shaqiri. Albrighton is also decent pick

Anyone who saw Spurs vs West Ham game, how did Hernandez play?

He was nothing special, before Carroll's substitute he was the striker but no serious threat. After Antonio's injury he was moved to the flank and got lucky to get a goal. Lucky goals so far but FPL counts points so cant blame anyone who sticks

Considering Ozil -> Richarlison for a hit and next week Ramsey -> Hazard for free. Thoughts about it or any other moves? Or no hits needed?

    Pickford (Elliot)
    Davies Reid Maguire Holgate (Tuanzebe)
    Alli Ozil Ramsey Ritchie (Cork)
    Kane Aguero (Wood)

    0,4 itb 0 FTs

What do you guys reckon. Can I save my ft this gw7. I have 1.5itb.

    Foster (Lossl)
    Davies, Jones, Hegazi (Mee, Fernandez)
    Eriksen, Mkhi, Richarlison, Moting (Carroll)
    Lukaku (c), Aguero, Firmino

It could be risky playing double WBA defense especially against Watford & also since I have Richarlison but I can't see either Mee (eve away) or Fernandez (whu away) keeping a cs but WBA could do.

    Thoughts & thanks.

      Looks good
One thing I don't like is that WB defence double up might be ok this week but it needs sorting sooner rather than later.

        Yep Hegazi goes gw8:
Hegazi out - 4.5 or less defender in &
        Firmino out - Morata in

          Sounds like a plan.

I would change one of the 2 WBA players now. Cant see them avoid conceding vs Watford. Then MUN fixtures become difficult for cs so Jones could be next. Cant say its wrong to save FT though and have 2 FTs for international break to make a plan

Yeah I was eyeing up Hegazi to Cedric or Monreal. I could go Monreal this week & Cedric for Jones in gw 8. Maybe Firmino will be back on track with Mane back this week & I could downgrade Lukaku to Morata instead.

What is the story with Pedro limited minutes?
    Will this change or continue.
With Che fixture he could be a good option at 7.9
But if continuing to get 60 minutes or so I would not consider. Thanks.

      Luiz suspends Mendy a knock

Would Azpi and Otamendi not be a better combo anyway?

I general it look good. Personally if I was going for GW8 WC I would stuff my team full on Che and City check out medium fixtures
Spurs utd ars pool all poor fixtures over say a 10 week period, exact opposite for City and Chelsea.
