The time has come to roll out our regular post-Gameweek members’ article and check up on some of the stand-out performers across the most recent round of fixtures.

Much of our focus turns to midfield, where Arsenal, Man City and Everton’s big hitters finally hint at the form of last season.

West Ham and Newcastle’s budget strikers also catch the eye, while defenders from Man City and Bournemouth shrug off slow starts to make significant bids for our attention.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Odd one but which of these two selections:

    1) Alonso, Fabregas, Xhaka, Lukaku
    2) Luiz, Salah, Doucoure, Jesus

    Cheers

      1. Ivanov Itch

neither do i - ended up with both in my team due to funding constraints and option 2 is a wild card selection

2, but with Salah down to Coutinho and Doucoure to RLC, which would, I think, give you enough cash to do Luiz to Alonso

      1. FC Hakkebøf
        9 years, 27 days ago

This. But if you can afford Salah + RLC + Alonso I would go for that instead I think. But Cou still a great option

    Mbemba - Ward - Luiz - Monreal - Davies. (A)

    Kane - Morata/Jesus - Okazaki

    Elliot - Fabianski/Pope
    Mbemba - Ward - Simpson - Monreal - Davies. (B)

    Which WC team and why?

Because of Hazard and Luiz basically

        1. The Head-Ake

But what if they don't fire like they're supposed to? Don't you think B has more balance? I mean Leicester could keep CS and Vardy may fire

This is VERY close to my WC team which is:

      Bdavies - Jones - Ward - Simpson - Mbemba
Hazard - Silva -Coutinho - King - RLC
      Kane, Jesus, Vardy

If that helps at all. Hazard is a risk but it could pay off if he explodes.

That was my 3rd draft lol. I'm just scared of not having Monreal or Luiz especially when Davies is prone to rotation

Considering my wildcard, mainly around getting kane and keeping lukaku...

    OUT:
Monreal, Cedric, Mhiki, Eriksen, Salah, Lacazetter

    IN:
Dunk (or any 4.4 or less), D.Luiz, Hazard, D.Silva, Choupo-Moting, Kane

Im worried I'm loosing some key players that have done well in the past gw's, is this too crazy? Any suggestions

"Outs" are irrelevant when on a WC

      D.Silva Hazard Eriksen Salah
      Rashford Kane

    4. SAY MY NAME
      9 years, 27 days ago

upfront atm, there's more cheaper mid options that will get more points than cheap strikers so gives a better point balance

that being said, the likes of Eriksen/Alli/Salah/Mane/Hazard/KDB will doubtless get plenty of points over the course of the season, just seems to be a few more points in the strikers at the moment

    D) Throw it away

    Foster
    Davies - Jones - Bertrand
    Mkhitaryan - Eriksen - Salah - Carroll
    Lukaku - Kane - Chicharito

    Bench: Elliot, Hegazi Mbemba, Chalobah.

Thinking Mkhi to City-mid (but who? Sterling, Silva, Sané..)

    Current Team with 1 FT:

    Fabianski - Elliott
    Jones - Bavies - Kola - Mee - Mbemba
    Silva - Mikhi - Ritchie - RLC - King
    Kane - Lukaku - Vardy

    Should I:

    A) Mikhi > Hazard
    B) Mikhi+Lukaku > Hazard+Jesus for -4
    C) Mikhi+Lukaku+Jones > Hazard+Jesus+Azpi for -8

I'm set on doing A as soon as I know Hazard comes through the Internationals but tempted by B also as I'm convinced Jesus will score more than Lukaku this GW, and for the next 3 after that. C would make my team very tasty but not sure at the expense of -8. By way of context, I have had two 80 point scores on the trot and have an OR of 174,000

So A, B or C do you think?

    Bavies - Jones - Kolasinac - Fernandez - Mbemba
    Eriksen - Salah - Ritchie - Choupo M - RLC
    Lukaku - Morata - Vardy

    Thinking doing:
    A: Morata -> Jesus
    B: Morata -> Jesus & Lukaku -> Kane for -4
C: Morata -> Kane & Eriksen -> Silva (city mid) for -4 (to free up funds)

Obvious move is A, but currently leaning against C because of captaincy.

Want Kane for captaincy (wouldnt worry about the -4 due to this), but dont necessarily want triple Spurs. Lukaku could go for the next 4 (would probably not give him the armband in at least 3 of those), but would want him back after that so hesitating to get rid.

Is anyone else considering getting Daniels in after GW 10? With 4.8 (close to drop) could be a steal.

39th on fplstatistics isn't very close to a drop... but at 4.9 he's already a bargain with the upcoming fixtures

        that's meehhh!!!!

I guess I'll have to take the drop since I can't do an early transfer due to the ever present risk of an injury of the player you get in this warranting a -4 to jettison. I'll take it like a an

Alli close to a drop, he's probably getting the chop from my team as i likely need to replace Morata (with Kane), but sensible thing is to wait, take the drop, and let the injuries of IB reveal themselves first?

Do we think Morata talking about targeting return for Palace is just talk, any confidence that he'll be back after IB?

Even if he would be able to play I don't think Conte would take a risk since Chelsea should be able to win Palace easily without Morata. So personally don't think Morata will play.

cheers, yeah i reckon he'll probably play safe with him, needs him for the whole season, won't risk him

I'm taking the drop, not just for the injuries, but because I genuinely want him for bournmouth

i would keep him, but as i need to replace Morata and don't have Kane, the logical thing for me seems to take a -4, and downgrade Alli to fund Morata > Kane

just know he'll start exploding as soon as i sell though 😀

Hi All, long time lurker (first time poster). Having a lot of troubles on my wildcard so figured i'd bring it to you guys for help.

    a) Hazard, Ramsey and Yoshida
    b) Coutinho, Silva and Van Dijk

currently have B but with Morata probably out and chelsea's schedule.. i like hazard as a differential. I'm 6th in my 40 person mini league (winner gets 5k). This is a big decision for me. Appreciate the help!
