The time has come to roll out our regular post-Gameweek members’ article and check up on some of the stand-out performers across the most recent round of fixtures.

Much of our focus turns to midfield, where Arsenal, Man City and Everton’s big hitters finally hint at the form of last season.

West Ham and Newcastle’s budget strikers also catch the eye, while defenders from Man City and Bournemouth shrug off slow starts to make significant bids for our attention.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

re-post as i was bottomed out.

Hi All, long time lurker (first time poster). Having a lot of troubles on my wildcard so figured i'd bring it to you guys for help.

    a) Hazard, Ramsey and Yoshida
    b) Coutinho, Silva and Van Dijk

currently have B but with Morata probably out and chelsea's schedule.. i like hazard as a differential. I'm 6th in my 40 person mini league (winner gets 5k). This is a big decision for me. Appreciate the help!

Confused about which Man City midfielder to pick? I've written an article covering an in-depth statistical analysis comparing de Bruyne, Silva, Sane and Sterling, with every underlying stat you'd need. Do give it a read.

Great article. I think it's worth looking at Manchester City's 2 champions league matches as well. Maybe there's something specific to Sterling's game that Pep thinks works best in the premier league, but I think it's more about just getting every player their rest. I don't really think really Sterling is any more secure than Sane as they both have 5 starts in all competitions.

      Some champions league stats:

Sterling has played 67 minutes total, both times as a sub, and scored a goal against Shakhtar. 2 shots, both in the box (2.69 per 90), no chances created.

Sane started and played the full 90 against Shakhtar and was subbed on for the last 20 minutes against Feyenoord. He hasn't scored or assisted, but has taken 4 shots, 3 in the box (3.3 and 2.5 per 90) and created 1 chance.

Silva started both games, but was subbed off both times. He hasn't taken a shot, but has 2 more assists and has created 5 chances total (3.08 per 90).

De Bruyne has played the full 180 minutes, has a goal and an assist, but his underlying stats aren't incredible, 4 shots, 2 in the box, and 4 chances created.
