Our usual post-Gameweek members’ article arrives this afternoon, as we take a look at some of the main performers over the previous round of fixtures.

Key midfielders from Man City and Spurs are assessed, while we also analyse Liverpool’s attack since the return of Philippe Coutinho.

Meanwhile, our new expected goals numbers highlight how Wilfried Zaha thrived up front upon his return to the Eagles’ fold.

    Lukaku+Hemed+Ramsey->Aguero+Morata+Carroll

    Who scores more:
    A) Lukaku, Ramsey, Naughton
    B) Aguero, Morata, Carrol (-8)

Have posted about this a few times, all advice appreciated.

Not feeling overly confident about this team after wildcarding last week.

Key areas of concern; davies, trippier, sane, jesus (rotation risks)

    Forster
    Walker, Cedric, Trippier, Davies, Maguire
    Sane, Hazard
    Kane, Jesus, Vardy

Thoughts on what to do? Keep/Twist

    Thanks

Sane and Hazard as your only midfield on WC?
Fair play, that was a big gamble which you need to give more than a week to see if it will pay off imo. They could well both reward you this week.
Give yourself another week to see if it was a mistake and if you think you need to change it then you can take a -4 and change three. Gives great flexibility.

Nice one Adam, I was leaning towards holding the transfer so that I have 2FT next week

I am a Spurs fan, I went to both the Swansea and Bournemouth games, during which we played terrible.
But genuinely feel the way Liverpool play, there will be chances for Spurs unlike during the Swans and Bournemouth games. So am tempted to captain Kane, which is a huge risk.

Alternative choice for me is Hazard, but I am leaning towards Kane.

Anything I should change here? (£0.3m ITB, 1FT). Still got my WC available too.

    Foster, Elliot
    Otamendi, Simpson, Cedric, Daniels, Mariappa
    Salah, Alli, Silva, Richarlison, Carroll
    Kane, Lukaku, Abraham

    A) Alli -> Sterling
    B) WC
    C) Save FT

Until I see Kun actually on the pitch and playing I won't believe he's fit to play.

If think if he was properly heeled and fit Pep would've given him minutes in both or one of the last two games at least. I think his rib(s) is/are still being protected and he's only been on the bench for a real emergency because he doesn't have any other forwards to put there.

I'm not convinced he'll play this weekend despite Jesus' minutes. Jesus can rest next week, by which time Kun should be fine.

    Just thinking out loud.

    1. Deulofail
      9 years, 5 days ago

Or he didn't need to bring him on...

    2. Dybala10
      9 years, 5 days ago

Yeah it's surprising to see him be on the bench twice and not touched.

Therefore I don't think he warrants being in our teams yet.

You'd hope as a non-owner he is on the bench again and comes on for 10 minutes rather than impact Jesus immediately.

      1. Adams6
        9 years, 5 days ago

I've got Jesus/Silva/Sterling so there is a little bit of hope in this theory too.

    3. I Member
      9 years, 5 days ago

I don't think he starts. The team is firing without him so absolutely no reason to throw him back in until he's completely ready. I'm expecting 30 mins off the bench.

Nothing is long-term. You don't know what's around the corner, but you know that you'll be 4 points down. You may or may not get that back in the next few weeks. It's not like Zaha and KDB are leagues above Silva and Eriksen.

    Hey guys,
Just interested in what you guys would do with this team -- points of concern imo are Keepers - Bavies risk - Ramsey not turning up and also chicha
    2ft (.3 ITB)
    Foster/Elliot
    Zanka/Maguire/Naughton/Bavies/4.0
    Ramsey/Silva/Eriksen/Coutinho/Carroll
    Jesus/Kane/Chicha

Thinking of doing Ramsey Chicha -> Tammy + Sane/Sterling
Part of me wants to keep Chicha just for a couple more weeks as Carroll is now out and I think he will get attacking returns.
Not too sure to take out Ramsey and go 433 for the next couple of gws

  15. luke25
    9 years, 5 days ago

I think potential or current Aguero owners would've liked him to get some minutes last night but as soon as it went 2-1 it was unlikely he was going to come on. If City were a few goals clear then for sure I think we would have seen him get some minutes.

    1. Deulofail

B, I suppose, but I don't think I'd do it without 2FTs so I could spend the money saved immediately. Hit is acceptable in my book, so long as the other upgrade is worth it. Wouldn't do this one transfer in isolation, I don't think - not even for free.

I posted this the other day, hoping to get some more opinions.

    My team is:

    Elliot, Foster
    Alonso, Jones, Davies, Kolasinac, Rosenoir
    Salah, Eriksen, Ritchie, Cork, Carroll
    Kane, Lukaku, Joselu

I really need to get some City coverage, but I've got too many cheap players to do anything with. I only have .3 in the bank but I have two free transfers. Any help appreciated!

The suggestions the other day was to drop Alonso and upgrade a midfielder. Any thoughts?

I think alonso downgrade is the only way to do it in 2ft. Wouldn’t want to lose Kane lukaku eriksen or salah. Only other way is to take a hit rejig the defence by losing Davies and kolasinac and upgrading Ritchie to sterling

Ritchie has had the shine taken off him since Shelvy returned. Less opportunity for him to earn assists after he's started sharing set pieces. Sell Ritchie and Alonso for Sterling and Cedric. Cedric could become Daniels when the fixtures turn for both ina few weeks.

    Calling Crystal Palace fans.

Loftus Cheek. Is he back this weekend? I know he was arguably their best (of a bad bunch) player before his injury, but what are the chance of Hodgson naming an unchanged team after their impressive win against Chelsea, even if he is fit?

    1. Adams6

I think, for his price, Jones is worth keeping all season if he's playing. I hate wasting transfers on defenders so just get him now and don'y worry about him playing or not every week, especially with Rose peeping round the curtains.
