Gameweek 9 continues with the first of Saturday’s matches as faltering champions Chelsea take on away day specialists Watford at Stamford Bridge.

The potential for points appears strong with Marco Silva’s side likely to maintain a positive approach and attack the Blues. The Hornets are unbeaten on their travels and have amassed eight goals from their four away fixtures. And in Richarlison, they have a Fantasy asset on the ascent.

The Brazilian has three goals and three assists to his name in just seven starts, returns that have boosted his ownership by over 300,000 since Gameweek 6, leading to a 0.3 price hike.

All of Richarlison’s goals have come away from home, and he will bid to get more joy from an out-of-sorts Chelsea defence that has recorded just three clean sheets from their eight fixtures so far.

However, Antonio Conte’s side have potent weapons to punish their opponent should they gamble and attack.

Alvaro Morata will make a return to Premier League action today having missed the Gameweek 8 defeat to Crystal Palace with a hamstring injury sustained against Manchester City.

The Spaniard’s ownership is in recovery after recent heavy losses, having been the top transfer target following his Gameweek 6 hat-trick at Stoke City. Some 201,000+ managers have acquired Morata ahead of today’s clash, with 191,000 (3.7%) trusting him with their captaincy.

Morata has been involved – scored or assisted – 73% of Chelsea’s goals when on the pitch.

Eden Hazard is the other key attacking asset on show. Back in the Chelsea starting line-up against City and at Palace, his impact has so far been minimal.

But the Belgian scored a brace in the midweek Champions League draw with Rome, underlining his undoubted Fantasy potential – particularly at Stamford Bridge. Hazard scored 12 goals in home matches last season, top for midfielders and second only to Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Chelsea is somewhat like Everton now

Has the fixtures but not in good form. However Chelsea is slightly better in scoring than Everton.

    Chelsea 1-2 Watford

You say 3-1, it should be 4-1 to Watford. The ease in which they are getting chances from inside the six yard boxes...

The way Chelsea are playing, don't worry Watford! You will get more.

Chelsea look completely and utterly disjointed!

Why can't FFS put up pictures of Conte celebrating? I hope there is a pic of Pep celebrating for the Saturday dugout discussion.

People saying Bakayoko is awful, but I'm thinking that he's getting no support from Fab. Kante is hugely missed and chelsea play with 2 attacking full backs. Leaves so much space for Bakayoko to cover. Poor tactics by Conte.

Best decision of my season so far was holding Richarlison through his 3 blanks! What a player! 🙂

Morata struggling with the physical aspect of game, Bakayoko losing ball everytime he gets it, Alonso not even getting a pass, Fabregas can't make a tackle, Pedro shooting from 40 yards, and our defenders look lost. What is going on Chelsea!

Morata has to be the worst transfer I've made.. Brought him a few weeks back only for him to get a hammy and then I sold Kane to bring him this week

I remember Chelsea fans rejoicing at getting £30m for Matic, and UPGRADING him for the younger, better, Bakayoko.

Looks like Jose knows more about football than you.

Bakayoko will not still be playing for Chelsea in 3 years.
        Matic is only 29.

Bakoyoko is not the issue. Putting in Fabregas to replace Kante is. Put Luiz in there ffs.

His performance has been poor regardless.
Bakayoko was brought in as Matic replacement, a defensive midfielder.
He's being bullied off the ball, can't pass, and poor on the ball.

Yes, clearly being a good player in France doesn't mean that much in terms of PL performance, obviously players need time to adapt, but no one is going to repeat their form from a lesser league in the PL.

Scott Sinclair is the best player in Scotland, would he walk into any PL teams?
