Ryan Shawcross is a fresh injury concern as Stoke City prepare for the visit of Leicester to the bet365 stadium. Philippe Coutinho looks set to miss Liverpool’s trip to West Ham United, while Spurs have a series of issues at the back as Crystal Palace visit Wembley with Toby Alderweireld and Hugo Lloris set to miss out.

With this afternoon’s press conferences still to come, here’s the team news headlines collated so far.

Stoke skipper Ryan Shawcross will be assessed for the visit of Leicester after sustaining a thigh problem. Mark Hughes will again be without Geoff Cameron (concussion) but the Potters boss is optimistic that Bruno Martins Indi could return. Glen Johnson and Peter Crouch are both okay and expected to be in contention, though both are likely to named on the bench.

For the Foxes, Ben Chilwell is a slight doubt for the Potteries trip after suffering a knock to his knee during training earlier this week.

Huddersfield Town head coach David Wagner has revealed that Rajiv van La Parra is available for the home clash against West Bromwich Albion, with the midfielder recovering from a groin problem.

Oliver Burke is back in contention for the Baggies following a hamstring injury, but both Craig Dawson and James Morrison remain out.

Eddie Howe has revealed Junior Stanislas and Benik Afobe will both miss the trip to Newcastle United, while a late decision will be made on the fitness of Josh King as he contniues to struggle with a back problem.

Mario Lemina remains out for Southampton’s home meeting with Burnley due to an ankle injury, but Charlie Austin has recovered from a knock and is expected to be available – he’s again sent for a bench role.

Clarets boss Sean Dyche is optimistic that Chris Wood will be available for the trip to St Mary’s, with the forward back in training following a hamstring strain. Steven Defour is also expected to be cleared to play following a tight groin sustained in Monday’s win over Newcastle.

Paul Clement rates Wilfried Bony as “50/50” to be in the squad for the home encounter against Brighton & Hove Albion, with the striker back in training following a hamstring injury. Angel Rangel, Martin Olsson, Leon Britton and Renato Sanches are all sidelined.

Steve Sidwell is the only absentee for the Seagulls.

Slaven Bilic expects both Winston Reid and Aaron Cresswell to be fit for the home meeting with Liverpool, but Pablo Zabaleta is suspended, while Jose Fonte, Sam Byram, James Collins and Michail Antonio are all out.

Georginio Wijnaldum will probably miss the trip to the London Stadium due to an ankle injury, while Philippe Coutinho (groin) looks very likely to miss out once again. Dejan Lovren (groin) could be available, though he may struggle to oust Ragnar Klavan to earn a recall.

Spurs duo Hugo Lloris and Toby Alderweireld look set to miss the home encounter against Crystal palace, with Mauricio Pochettino expected to provide confirmation in his press conference later today. Michel Vorm would come in between the sticks, while the Spurs boss may consider reverting to a back four for the Eagles visit. Danny Rose and Serge Aurier are expected to push for starts at full-back after they sat Wednesday’s win over Real Madrid.

Finally, Sead Kolasinac will undergo a late fitness test on a hip problem ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Manchester City. The Bosnian is expected to be in contention to be named at left wing-back in a largely unchanged Gunners side that saw off Swansea City last time out.

Pep Guardiola will give his conference later today, although we should not expect too many clues as to his starting XI. Some pointers on the likelihood of Sergio Aguero’s start – in light of his record-breaking strike in midweek – could be the most we can hope for.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section, along with our predicted line-ups, ahead of this tomorrow’s 11.30am deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from today’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Can't believe I'm asking this, but with Palace's good fixtures coming up, his reasonable price and I think playing further up the pitch, is Andros Townsend worth a gamble? He did do well under Hodgson for England.

I currently have Lacazette but due to his poor form and fixtures want to drop him, Kola and Davies for Kane and two cheaper defenders. If I remove Kola only I have just 4.3 mil to play with.

With Liverpool's great run of fixtures to come (whu, SOT, CHE, stk, bha, EVE, WBA, bou) I can see a lot of investment in one or other of their 4.5 defenders. I'm guessing this may be a split vote, but I'm interested to hear your views on Moreno vs Gomez?

Both have played the last 5 matches
Both are pretty much nailed but could miss the odd match
TAA is regularly taking Gomez' slot in Europe so perhaps Gomez is more nailed in the Premier League?
Robertson hasn't played a single minute in the 7 games since the Carabao Cup defeat to Leicester in September
Robertson has not even been on the bench for most games, but has reappeared as an unused sub in Liverpool's last 2 games!
Heatmaps from Moreno and Gomez are pretty much identical
Moreno edges it on the comparison tool 55% to 45%
I think Klopp has a slight soft spot for Moreno
Moreno is more likely to assist and has the odd set piece.
Gomez is the more defensive player, and has better baseline BAPS
Gomez is owned by 3.5% and is about to rise tonight
Moreno is owned by 3.2% and is on 30% away from a rise

    So who to choose?

    A: Moreno
    B: Gomez

Who to bring in for coutinho? Already got eriksen, sterling and richarlison.

    MY idea was either:
    A) Sane (but risk of not playing and already have sterling on that risk)
    B) Alli (not sure if double up on spurs mid is a good thing thought, got kane as well)
    C) Salah

What do you think? Or do you have any other in mind? (only have 9,5 to spent)

Team (fyi - I'm a QPR fan so mini league has a no Chelsea rule)

    Elliot/Pope
    Ota/Jones/Yoshida/Mee/Trippier
    Sane/Richarlison/Coupo/Salah/Gross
    Jesus/Kane/Okazaki

    1FT, £2.0m ITB

I'm inclined to leave it but a couple of rotation risks. I've kept the money to bring back Aguero but not sure he'll start this weeked

    A) Leave it - GTG
    B) Bring back Kun
    C) Oka for Abraham

I would probably do C), although isn't Tammy a Chelsea player?

The debate about whether loan players count rages week in week out of the group chat!

Someone else has him, so I wouldn't be automatically kicked like we did to two guys last year. They knew the rules!

As a Fulham fan I find that quite funny. I'd take the high ground and go for Murray instead haha.

I am the only one who will captain Salah above Kane ? I have both but West Ham has so many injuries and I dont like last meetings between Spurs and Palace.

I'm about to have Jones 2nd on the bench after TCarroll (playing defenders: Otamendi Daniels Tarkowski) as I think Chelsea will score, and Jones doesn't have attacking threat.
I think many would suggest to play Jones, but I think Daniels and TCarroll may get more points this time.
Even if they've done great defensively, away at Chelsea is one of the toughest fixtures of the season.

    What do you think?

Yep,I am benching too. Got his points off the bench against Spurs and Pool. So not hurt benching him so far

I'm playing Jones, Utd will probably set up pretty defensively again.

    Bench one in each case:

    Elliot or Foster?

    Jones, Ward, Naughton and Davies?

    Benching Foster and Naughton currently
