We ease our way out of Saturday’s action with a head-to-head at St James’ Park involving two sides who offer limited Fantasy interest.

Newcastle United host Leicester City with Jamie Vardy the top owned asset on show.

The striker has just a goal and an assist from his last five Gameweek but remains part of 16.9% of Fantasy Premier League squads. His ownership increased by 169,000 over the past two Gameweeks with some 83,000 swooping for Vardy ahead of this match.

Harry Maguire is next in line and is included in 8.8% of squads – he will bid to guide the Foxes to their fifth clean sheet of the season, having gained a first shut-out in the last five Gameweeks last time out against Burnley.

As for Newcastle, their most popular Fantasy assets both miss out. Rob Elliot (25%) once again plays understudy to Karl Darlow in goal, while Chancel Mbemba (11.4%) is out of the matchday squad. Jamaal Lascelles (6.1%) is fit and returns among the substitutes.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Getting easier by the minute to ID these Leicester attackers.

Thinking I'd like Pool v Everton to be postponed tomorrow. I have Salah and Niasse, but most have Salah (many as captain) and Niasse probs only good for one point at best. This would probably just give me 11 players assuming sterling, jones & matic play but having (c)ed Kane I'd be better off than the majority.

How would postponement go down here ?

Good point, but i don't think there are too many who benched Ward.

I'd take 3 postponements for sure.

I'd be furious as I'd get Hazard as (vc) instead of Salah and an Mbemba bench point.

A Merseyside cancellation would put me on 16 (-16) with just KDB to play
Salah, Coutinho, Rooney and Kenny ... with DCL as my only other sub
I'd settle for a Manchester postponement

If Kane delivers against Brighton, would I be crazy to get rid of him? My plan was to do the following after the Brighton game:

Kane, Wilson & Daniels > Firmino, Pogba & Valencia.

U would want him back anyway, for the DGW. No point. Keep. Build your team around the best striker in the league.

Just realised Elliot is dropping in value tonight, other keeper is Speroni and its uncertain if he will keep his spot. It feels mad to consider a West Ham keeper but there are signs they may be turning a corner and the fixtures are great going forward. Alternatively looking at Pickford but fixtures not so good. Won't get Pope as already have double Burnley defence. Any thoughts?
