An unceremonious defeat at the hands of League One Wigan may have scuppered Pep Guardiola’s quest for a legendary quartet of titles but Manchester City’s Premier League form has been as strong as ever.

After sweeping five goals past Leicester in their final fixture before the FA Cup break, City have now found the net an impressive 79 times this season – a full 18 clear of their nearest rival, Liverpool.

With five attackers – Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane, David Silva and Sergio Aguero – all past the 100-point threshold in Fantasy Premier League (FPL), City have clearly proven themselves to represent our most reliable source of regular Fantasy points.

As 19,000 delirious Wigan fans discovered on Monday night, however, there is a marked difference between City’s form at home and on their travels.

In this latest Technical Area article for members, we will put this under scrutiny, with particular reference to the merits of keeping faith in Man City’s attacking assets.

When will refs man up and give yellow cards to the entire Barca complain train? The captain should be the only player allowed to complain to the ref.

Nobody should be allowed to complain. When/why do refs change decisions because of a complaint?

Every match would end 6 vs 6 if thats the case.

There's no such rule in football. No one is allowed to harass a ref

      1. Brosstan
        • 11 Years
        8 years, 11 days ago

Its common sense. Its basically what the ref does whenever it gets heated up already, send away everyone but the captains. A captain wouldnt "harass" the ref.

If no one approached refs there would be no votile situations to begin with.

Refs call captains when there is repeated and systematic fouling

Because he wasn't adjudged to have dived. Got the yellow for dissent afterwards.

Dunno how Englishmen can celebrate a Barca goal. Is your club hatred really that much stronger than your patriotism? When it comes to European championships I'd much rather a rival won over a foreign team.

Ridiculous statement, having patriotism doesn't have to be so extreme and it's a shame that it's become somehow associated as a bad trait. Keep in mind English teams winning promotes the premier league and encourages more talent to come here that we can watch every week.

It's not just patriotism though, it's actually good for the premier league to have teams progressing and maybe even winning the cup so that it increases the strength of the PL. It's good for your club football, how is that hard to understand.
