Distracted and torn by domestic duties, my appearance on this latest ScoutCast episode is limited to a 30-minute introduction, followed by closing cameo.

That’s just enough time to join Jonty, Andy and Az in revisiting the Gameweek 31 scenario and chip strategies that dominate your community questions.

While I’m away, the boys also consider the Gameweek 31 traps to decide whether we’re in danger of being distracted by the mediocrity on offer. The fate of premium-priced defenders is also discussed before they preview Gameweek 28, as I crash back in to make my late contribution.

      Me too, but have 3 very playable subs so was a calculated risk. Also bearing in mind Man City and Arsenal have cup final before their game which may lead to injuries/suspensions

    Apologies if this has been done but why the love for Walcott over Siggy at the moment? Anything other than price?

    For me the eye test says after the initial first 8-10 GW cluster**** that was Evertons start to the season Siggy has become more and more involved in their play, no Baines on set plays means he on set plays and potentially penalties?

    I know the next two are away but Watford are poor defensively and have left Dacoure to roam forward a bit more of late Marks article on premierleague.com showed. Burnley Away is tough on paper for goals but they seem to actively welcome shots from distance, something Siggy excels at.

    A plum home fixture then obviously a game in the blank gameweek.

    Not sure if it’s my nostalgia from past seasons but really drawn to him over Walcott, if I could afford erikson maybe I would go there for the next 2 weeks, Son is a cheaper option of that strategy but Lucas Moura might limit his minutes?

      Honestly think it’s too close to call. Walcott looked good against Palace but blanked. I’m scouting them both this week. I want a more convincing display from siggy like his time at Swansea

        Have 4 good players + 2(2 pointers) & will get in 1-2 more in gw 31 (one will be Mane/Firmino)
        Also there's a possibility that spurs play that week 😉
