The Premier League have now revealed a number of rescheduled fixtures to finally confirm Double Gameweek 37.

Six matches that were previously postponed due to the latter stages of the FA Cup have been afforded new dates, meaning that – as we expected – 12 teams will play twice in the penultimate round of fixtures.

The new dates are as follows:

Tuesday May 8 – Swansea vs Southampton.

Wednesday May 9 – Chelsea vs Huddersfield, Leicester vs Arsenal, Man City vs Brighton and Tottenham vs Newcastle.

Thursday May 10 – West Ham vs Man United.

Confirmed Double Gameweek 37 schedule

Arsenal (BUR lei)
Brighton (MUN mci)
Chelsea (LIV HUD)
Huddersfield (mci che)
Leicester (WHU ARS)
Man City (HUD BHA)
Man United (bha whu)
Newcastle (wat tot)
Southampton (eve swa)
Swansea (bou SOT)
Tottenham (wba NEW)
West Ham (lei MUN)

With Arsenal, Spurs and Man United all playing twice, the competition for our three-man frontlines is set to intensify, with Harry Kane, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Romelu Lukaku all vying for attention.

Kane, in particular, will be a heavy favourite for the Triple Captain chip for encounters against West Brom and Newcastle, with his five-goal haul from last term’s Double Gameweek 37 still fresh in the memory.

Having returned to action off the bench in the 3-1 win at Chelsea, he’s already the most bought player since last weekend’s deadline passed.

One of only three sides – along with Chelsea and Leicester – to play at home twice, Manchester City’s clashes with Huddersfield and Brighton could prove significant in many mini-leagues.

Yet the league leaders’ potential may well be determined by their progress in the Champions League.

Should they defeat Liverpool and reach the semi-finals, the second legs would take place in the midweek prior to their Etihad encounter with the Terriers, suggesting that rotation could well be on the cards.

We will have more on the impact of today’s announcement later this evening as many Fantasy managers start to firm up their plans for the run-in.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

If you had to lose one to get a Spurs attacker, which one would it be?

    a) Willian

    b) Alonso

    c) Not before West Ham

Presumably Willian, as it would require just 1 transfer- if you have enough in the bank. Obviously also means no Kane, for now.

Alonso is classed as a defender though so how can you get an attacker?

If really wanted an attacker and not someone like vert then Willian is your only option

Also Rondon needs to score a hattrick or brace every game or so if he wants to win the golden boot, which obviously he does want to win. So he'll be up for it.

    Fabianski Ryan
    Lowton Chilwell Naughton Tarkowski AlexanderArnold
    Son Mahrez Salah Zaha Gross
    Kane Vardy Austin

0 left in bank and current chips plan is BB GW 34 and TC GW 37.

I am considering Barnes instead of Austin and then upgrade AlexanderArnold to a 4.7mil defender or less. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thoughts on aiming for this squad for GW34? It is Kane-less though...

    DDG / Ryan
    Alonso / Vertonghen / Tarkowski / Dunk / Morgan
    Eriksen / Mahrez / Gross / Salah / L. Cook
    Lukaku / Vardy / Barnes

Bench Boost looks like it could bring more points in GW37 than GW34. But several Triple Captain options in GW37 against few/none in GW34.

    Tricky...

Yes GW37 looks best for all the chips but you can only play one, TC Kane for me.

  14. Don Kloppeone

    8 years, 1 month ago

My plan up until now has been to save FT this week, use Bench Boost in DGW34 and then FH in GW35. I have no TC and I used WC last week. This is my current team ...

    1FT £0.7itb
    DDG, Ryan
    Alonso, Vertonghen, Mustafi, Morgan, Lowton
    Salah, Mahrez, Son, Willian, Gros
    Auba, Firmino, Barnes

    1) Do you think I am better trying to hold off the BB now until DGW37? It's going to take a lot of juggling!

    2) Is a -8 hit next week madness to do: Auba, Firmino, Son, Alonso >>>> Kane, Lukaku, Lingard, Christensen?!

    Need some wise words!

    1. frenchfries
      • 9 Years

Done like any of those options, make it simple. Can be alot of rotation in GW37, risky with BB

You wrote 1) and 2) so i assumed they were options with BB gw34 on the number 2.

Still -8 for those moves in 2) is alot of sideways moves with Son and Alonso for Christensen and Kane. Personally i would just go with one of Kane or Lukaku.

    Ryan
    Morgan Mustafi Alonso
    Salah Mahrez Willian Sterling

Salah going on strike for the remainder of the season would be quite useful.

    Chances?

Who are the best 4 teams to pick players from now with all these doubles and blanks?

That’s purely dependant on what your current team is and what your chip strategy is.

It’s something for you to work out for yourself.

    a) Maguire, Kane and Willian

    b) Alonso, Eriksen and Vardy

After this weekend, is this move a good one for a -4? Will be hitting BB in 34 and FH in 35, and want to get Kane in for both double gameweeks.

Firmino, Son, Mariappa to Kane, Christensen, Cork. Idea being that Cork's double in 34 should cover the loss and I then am set up with Kane for the rest of the run-in, as well as Christensen for both doubles. After 34 I can weaken my bench again a little bit as well, so could always upgrade later on.

      That hit is easily justifiable.

I don’t like the Christensen pick though. He’s a big troll.

Any other suggestions? Not seeing many defensive options who have doubles in 34 that look that promising.

Hows this FH team for GW34 looking?

    DDG
    Christensen Vertonghen Maguire
    Mahrez Alli Willian Lingard
    Kane Lukaku Vardy

    Nordfieldt Romeu Long Goldson

    * Worried Christensen Willian & Lingard may not play both games

How about Vardy, Christensen, Lingard -> Barnes, Alonso & Son if you can afford?
