Recorded prior to Mohamed Salah’s injury scare, the ScoutCast crew already had one curveball to contend with in this latest episode as we mulled over Harry Kane solutions.

Fit-again and primed to skittle the Stoke City defence, Granville, Jonty, Andy and Az join me to discuss how we go about making plans for Harry ahead of two tempting Double Gameweeks.

Elsewhere in this episode, your community questions steer us to consider the optimum front three, assess Chelsea’s shaky confidence and weigh up the fixtures versus form conundrum that is Marko Arnautovic.

The regular weekend preview is then followed by an extraordinary bout of mind games from Jonty, who appears to have tap into the dark arts to prophesise Salah’s injury two days early. That would explain his rank this season; there’s been voodoo at work.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday evening. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Best move here? No WC, BB34 & FH35

    A) Mkhi -> Gross
    B) Mkhi & Salah -> Alli & Sterling (-4)
    C) Save FT

    Ryan
    Monreal, Chilwell, Lowton
    Salah, Son, Mahrez, Willian
    Auba, Vardy, Barnes

    DDG, Tarkowski, Smalling, Mkhi
    Bank 0.3m, 1FT

On WC(BB34). Front is set. Have 0.8 to spend here. What would you do?

    DDG, Ryan
    Christensen, Chilwell, Schelotto, Morgan, Lowton

    a) Ryan > Lloris
    b) Schelotto > 5.2def (who)
    c) Chilwell > Robertson

Plan to get back Kane in gw34
    Current team:
    DDG - Ryan
    Morgan - Lowton - TAA - Otam - Tark
    Salah - Mahrez - Son - Gudm - Willian
    Lukaku - Auba - Firmino

    GW34: 2ft
    A. Firmino + Willian +Otam > Kane + Christensen + 4.6mid (-4)
    B. Auba + Willian + Otam > Kane + Alonso + 4.2mid (-4)
    C. Auba + Otam > Kane + Chilwell
    D. Auba + Firmino + Otam + Willian > Kane + Alonso + Vardy + 4.4mid (-8)
    E. Other suggestion

      Probably C.
Some other options look nice but cant see what mid you get for 4.2 to 4.4 in 34
At least 37 could have A. King but 34 hasn't many options

I need a replacement for Mykitarian for GW33 only as playing FH34. Got £9m, thought
    A) Mahrez

    2nd WC Draft; How's it looking? Plan to BB34, FH35 & TC37.

    DDG - Ryan
    Davies/Alderweireld - Tarkowski - Lowton - Simpson - Mariappa
    Salah - Mahrez - Son - Lingard - Gross
    Auba - Kane - Barnes

Exactly 0.9 ITB to do Aub - Lukaku next week.

    Good morning.

My plan was save transfer this week and do Auba, Mkhi & Salah > Kane, Alli/Eriksen & Lingard next week for a hit. Would have played Barnes instead Salah.

Should I just bite the bullet and do Mkhi & Salah to Alli/Eriksen & Lingard now?

    8.1m for a Mkhi replacement:

    A) Ramsey

1 extra game but harder fixtures - which scores most?

      Ramsey
      - SOT, new, BUR/lei, hud

      Gross

      1. Konstaapeli

If Ramsey plays, he will bring points. It's just a bit risky as Wenger might save him for EL.

    3. Freddo
      • 8 Years
      8 years, 17 days ago

Do you think Ramsey plays in the PL games? If so, it's a no brainer.

      What do you think?

Mkhi injured, Wilshere fragile, Ramsey over his injuries and playing very well, can he be rested right now and is there any need when he's been out for a while?

These are the questions you need to ask yourself.

      1. Freddo
        • 8 Years
        8 years, 17 days ago

Also, this tie is over, does he need to rest him for the second leg or can he rest him in that?

Wenger needs a strong end to the season as his job is at risk, I'm not sure he can throw any of the league games.

I can probably do that. Drop Salah to like Lingard?

I will wait about another 19 hours but this even with a hit seems the way to go to me.

The question was have Kane or Lukaku for 34. Salah injury is the get out clause to have both.
If Salah plays BOU in 34 and gets a Hattie so be it - got to take a risk sometime.

        1. Jafalad

The Salah injury could be a blessing in disguise for the 33 wildcarders. Our differential.

Yeah I WC last week though 🙁

Now going down the Kane Lukaku Vardy path for 34 will cost me a hit this week and next but I still think it's worth the gamble.

Anyone on WC this week and planning on BB in DGW 34 considering West Ham players? Especially in defence and goal - Stoke and home looks decent.

BUR have 1 clean sheet in 10. Leicester looks OK and Christ also not looking that exciting - I feel money can be spent better in other areas.

Now let's watch BUR get 2 clean sheets in gw 34, just my luck! ha.

    3. KenyaDigIt
      • 8 Years
      8 years, 18 days ago

NO! He probably won't play much this week - but even if he plays the last 15min, comes on late vs tired legs, he has a higher chance of scoring then most players.

Just look at his form, even when he plays 60min he outscores most... Resting him long term would be silly, if he is fit he will play.

Be faithful, he has been good to us all.

I’m holding fire pending any concrete injury news. Even if all clear, he is still a rotation risk - we have to accept that. But what I do with rotation risks is I make sure I have a decent bench player. To sell him if there’s no longer term groin issue is a bit like throwing the baby out with the bath water.

Fair enough but what good is a rotation risk with a sgw in 34 if you plan to BB in 34?

        1. Pasqualinho
          • 16 Years

It’s obviously a risk (the clue’s in the name). But also going in to your BB without him - if fit he’ll be likely be going into BB34 as the highest owned player - and probably by some margin. It’s up to you which risk you want to take.

I don't know. Think Salah goes.
Limited or know minutes this week

Sgw no matter how favourable in 34

FH in 35 so can have him then.

Buy back in 36 if I want to. Only going to cost me .3 more than my SV on him right now.
Worth the risk I think it's not like I am going to captain him in 33 or 34

      I like something like
      Sanchez
With Kane and Vardy up front
Definitely might be worth a punt for Sanchez over Lukaku.

Might also mean one more dgwer in 34 cause the cheaper mid option are not there but there are some up front.

          DeGea Ryan

            I'm leaning towards bb34
            De Gea, Lloris.
            Alonso, Dunk, Stevens, Lowton, Tark.

Im set up for a bb34 fh35 then a couple of transfers for 37. Like Mustafi pick and Mahrez but cant have them all.

Best of luck the Sanchez over Lukaku I will really consider why I did not consider before with Sanchez .1 cheaper I dont know

If you are on WC Lloris looks a good pick but if BB 34 downgrade to Ryan for instance allows a bit of an upgrade to Stephens or Cork as they don't look great BB options?

Sanchez has 2.9 % ownership now thats what I call a diff.
No reason he can't match or better output for Lukaku and his more than 30% ownership.

When do we expect to hear about Salah?

Reading here it seem like keeping him might be a differential vs. the FFS crowd

    Alonso Robertson Ake

Yes, captain Auba for sure. TC him if you're feeling wild!

Your midfield looks week - I'm guessing you've played your WC as now would be a good time to play it to overhaul your team with a few more attacking players.

What chips do you have left?

.7 or .8 loss in team value not a problem at this stage imo, plenty of good mid price options with great run-in fixtures. Keeping or shipping Salah decision should be made solely on points potential. Alli/Erik scoring more over the next 5 game weeks is highly likely. Easier for us on a wildcard though I guess.

On a WC I would ship Salah and get Kane now

    Ryan
    Alonso Morgan Mustafi
    Salah Mahrez Son Willian Gross
    Lukaku Aubameyang
    Subs: DDG Barnes Lowton Dummett

    1 FT, 0.0 ITB. I don't have FH

Any suggestions on what to do? Confused this week, thank you.
