We’re down to the last 32 in our Fantasy Football Scout Cup tournament and can now reveal not only the victors from round four but also the fifth round draw.

As we know, Gameweek 33 was a torrid affair which produced the lowest average score (32 points) of the season so far. It also put paid to one of the two top-ranked managers remaining in the cup.

Leaf – who ranked 55 in the world prior to last weekend – took a four-point hit to record a modest 34 score. He was somewhat unfortunate to come up against ChrisVD who recorded the highest score (57) in the entire fourth round. The latter also spent points on an extra transfer but mustered a hugely impressive tally thanks to a Spurs midfield partnership of Dele Alli – as captain – and Christian Eriksen.

While Leaf toppled out, the other high-flying manager – Always Captain Kun – earned his passage to the fifth round with a 34-30 victory over Le Tigre and maintained a rank of 65th in the world. They must now be considered the early favourite to lift the trophy but must be wary of their next opponent. Norman conquest lies in wait in the last 32 and, while they are placed 46,709 in the world, they are renowned giant killers in this cup having previoulsy eliminated the 48th ranked thisisdiz in round three.

Round four’s lowest ranked manager – TD7242 (699,646) – was unable to maintain their cup run after recording a calamatous 20 points from Gameweek 33. It was a familiar tale of taking a points hit to capture and captain Harry Kane, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang their only player to score more than two points. TD7242 tumbled out to Batmaniac, who scored 33 to claim passage.

That means that jaycar25 is now the big underdog heading into the next round. They are placed 339,188 in the world and will face 2eyedTurk next; they currently place 34,464 in the overall rankings.

The fifth round will be played out over Gameweek 34, which as we know, is a Double Gameweek with many chips in play.

The full fourth round results can be found here, while the fifth round draw in full can be found here.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

What's the conventional wisdom of when to BB or TC on 34 or 37 if you have no FH for GW35 and WC used? Was going to BB in 34, but now thinking 37 might be better so I can maximise DGWs then (but rotation risks may be greater)?

I am gonna TC Sanchez and WC in GW35 and then BB in 37, but I guess it comes down to your bench this week?
If you got like 3-4 DGW'ers from Brighton/Burnley I would use BB.

Oh. Could have saved me from alot of writing 😀

Swansea is a team I expect to do better than Burnley/Brighton this week as an example.

            And Southampton. Maybe even Leicester.
The fact that there are more teams playing just makes it easier.

It is not about that. It is more how much easier it will be for a guy without WC & FH to prepare for GW37 (TC). If he TC this week without a FH or a WC it could be hit galore to prepare a good BB team for 37.

With that said I am BB'ing in 37 because of the fact, that I think the players people are BB'ing this GW is far worse than those in 37.

With no FH, I feel 37 is much better for BB! Having a balanced side is key for this period without FH. I will have 9 DGW players in 34 and will field at least 9 (-4) in 35.

      Squad looks like:

      G: Ryan*, Hennessey
D: Chilwell*, Christensen*, Lowton*, Smalling*, Alexander-Arnold
M: Willian*, Mahrez*, Gudmundsson*, Salah, McArthur
      A: Lukaku*, Kane*, Auba

So got 5 single week players. Think Salah and Auba will score well anyway. Maybe get another Brighton Burnley in? Maybe even ditch Salah?

I am going for 37 over 34 for BB now, for exactly your reasons. More teams to choose from and better fixtures. Theoretically I can also get one extra DGW player.

Current bench, 1ft, can't afford Kane, 0.9itb. BB, FH, TC left

    Ryan, Auba, Mustafi, Stephens

    A) Take a hit and BB with Mustafi
    B) Just get Vardy and TC Lukaku

    Lloris // Ryan
Smalling, Christensen, Morgan // Dunk, Mariappa
Alli, Willian, Mahrez, Gross, // Kenedy
    Kane, Lukaku, Vardy.
    .
    FH on GW35, TC inact
Earlier planned to BB on 34, but seems Christensen will play only 1 match, Kennedy+Mariappa also have single match, is it wise to prepare for BB on 37?

I think this might be my final way forward for BB GW34 (followed by FH GW35):

Auba, Firmino, Gros >>> Lukaku, Vardy, Mili (-4)

    Will give me this team:

    0FT £0.7itb
    DDG, Ryan
    Alonso, Vertonghen, Morgan, Lowton, Mustafi
    Salah, Mahrez, Son, Willian, Mili
    Lukaku (C), Vardy, Barnes

To do Kane, Lingard I would have to downgrade one of Salah, Mahrez, Son, Alonso and take an extra hit.
Would look to get in Kane for GW36 (no TC)

Go for it or needs a rethink?
    Cheers
