Monitor – Alexis Sanchez

Having struggled to make an impact in his opening matches for Manchester United, Alexis Sanchez has made a timely return to form ahead of Double Gameweek 34.

Back-to-back double-digit hauls against Swansea and Man City, denying the latter of the title at the Etihad Stadium, has reignited confidence in the Chilean’s Fantasy prospects.

With Jose Mourinho’s men set for a kind pair of fixtures against West Brom and Bournemouth, Sanchez looks a ready-made differential in Fantasy Premier League (FPL), boasting a 3% ownership.

In this latest Monitor article for members’, we run the rule over Sanchez’s recent form for the Old Trafford outfit to assess whether he could be worth the hefty 11.5 outlay.

Hello! I have 2 FT and I am 50-50 between Auba to Kane or Mahrez to Sanchez. Pros and cons to both:
Kane - double this week but doesn't play next week so will probably bring Auba back in at that point until GW37 when I would bring Kane back in. I think Spurs will do well offensively against City as Spurs only seem to struggle against those that defend deep.
Sanchez - Easy fixtures and United have been flat track bullies (the impressive derby comeback aside) plus Sanchez seems to have picked up a bit. Not got a game in GW35 though and is quite a lot of money.

I could do both with a -4 too.

    B. Gw34: Hoedt + Kane -4, Gw35 1FT

Hi. Bit of a dilemma about who to sell to bring in Lukaku/Kane for the double gameweek...

1FT 0.0ITB (BB and TC available)
    Ryan (Pickford)
    VVD, Alonso, Chilwell (Zanka, Bauer)
    Salah, Eriksen, Mahrez, Milivojevic (Shaqiri)
    Auba, Firmino, Wilson

Would you sell Salah/Firmino/VVD with Liverpool's rotation and lack of double gameweeks in mind?
Or possibly Shaqiri to a Burnley midfielder?

    Thanks!

Can someone clarify A FREE HIT Q for me please?

Picture the scenario.. So it's Saturday evening, the some results have just rolled in... I make the "Lukaku out for Kane" move ready for GW35.

...But come Sunday, I have a change of heart and decide to hit my FREE HIT chip. Which means I get to overhaul my whole team (albeit temporary).

Will Kane be back in my team come GW36 or what?

Because I'm under the assumption that after a FH is used, you only still get 1 transfer rolled over...

Trying to see if this would work that's all.

Anyonoe know what happens if you make a transfer next GW, but then activate your FH chip after, what happens?

        Will Kane...? No

Kane won't be in your team all transfers you have made before are cancelled

Damn it! Was hoping to do a transfer in preparation of gw36, save, and then take that player out for the week with my free hit. Back to the drawing board.

Why would you get Kane for 35?

      I have in defense/midfield:

      Ogbonna,Daniels,,Jones, Alonso, VanD
      Sterling,Salah,Can,VanLP,Shaqiri

Looking to dump Jones and Can which will give me 11.7m incl my bank.
      Thinking Smalling and Gross
      -playing my BB this week

      Any better options ?

      Thanks

Bench boosting, chasing ML Leader by 50pts - very similar team to me only 11dgw players to my 13 currently. He has Kane/Lingard/Willian to my Kaku/Alli/Son. Want Sanchez really or Kane to match.

      DDG/Ryan/Bailly/Alonso/Lowton/Morgan/Tark/Mahrez/Gross/Son/Alli/Kenedy/Lukaku/Barnes/Auba

      Which is better:
      A) Bailly/Mahrez > Sanchez/S Francis for -4 (biggest gamble)
      B) Bailly/Kenedy/Auba > Soares/Sanchez/Austin for -8 (have 15 dgw players)
      C) Bailly/Auba > Soares/Kane for -4
      D) Auba > Vardy - free
      E) Do nothing

Which Free Hit team would you pick?

      A) De Gea
      Morgan, Azpilicueta, Tarkowski
      Sanchez, Eriksen, Mahrez, Arnautovic
      Lukaku, Vardy, Barnes

      B) De Gea
      Morgan, Azpilicueta, Tarkowski
      Sanchez, Mahrez, Pogba Arnautovic
      Kane, Vardy, Barnes

Please can anyone explain how FH works. Planning on using GW35 so GW34’s team will be in place in GW36 but will this be GW34 BEFORE transfers or AFTER?
If its the latter as i understand it you could buy say Arny in GW34 and your original player pre Arny would be back with no hits required? Is this right?
      Thanks

if you are using FH in 35, your team in GW 36 shall be the confirmed team that you selected in GW34.

i.e if you transferred Arny in for GW34, he will be in your for GW36. the player you sold off to bring in Arny will not be in your GW36 team

      RMT

      chaps need an extra eye on my BB gw34 team;

      already took a -4 hit

      DDG-Ryan
      Lowton-Alonso-Vertonghen-Chilwell-Dunk
      Salah-Lingard-Albrighton-Gross-Gudmunsson (will he be playing?)
      Vardy-Kane-Lukaku (C)

      Cheers!
