The ScoutCast crew are always quick to jump on the shoulders of giants, so when a veteran of the Fantasy Football Scout community starts to threaten a Fantasy Premier League title tilt, we just have to get them on the show.

Matt Kearney aka “Bowstring the Cap” has been about on our pages for seven seasons but never has he experienced one like this. Currently ranked twenty-third in the world, he drops by in this latest episode to offer his take on the campaign and, in particular, the strategy for the run-in.

In truth, Matt was better placed before Gameweek 33 and, along with Jonty, Andy and Az, he joins me to look back at the lowest scoring weekend of the campaign when even the leading managers faltered.

But those gripes are soon drowned by a wave of enthusiasm on the eve of Double Gameweek 34.

That’s the focus for your latest set of community questions, sparking our thoughts on the optimum heavy-hitters, the rotation fears and our confidence in Chelsea to produce over the extra fixtures.

          Vdh is injured so he shd go for starters maybe get a second burnley def as they play 34 and 35 and maybe find a better option to hart. What are doing for city and arsenal assets for 35 onwards ?

          Yeah I mean they are all valid options. I went for C and will captain Sanchez over Kane. But chasing 39 pts, would captain Kane if leading etc so it always depends what you are trying to achieve 🙂

      Poll suggested C Kane instead of Sanchez. Many assume TC better use on gw37 with Kane. But your team seems ok to BB.

      If you don’t like your bench this week but want to use TC in 37 you could always plan to BB in 36. All sgw players yes but better ones than this week.

        Yeh I like my WC team, think it's a strong BB and will be fairly decent for 37 too. Went for a few differentials with Lloris etc too

    How essential is Kane this week?
    I can see him blanking vs City and score maybe one vs Bri. If so it is better to keep Auba 2 more weeks and then Auba to Kane in gw36.

    I'm about to do Auba -> Vardy and now wondering if I should take a hit to replace Mariappa who might be at risk of not starting.
