The first of four remaining Double Gameweek 34 fixtures gets underway at 7.45pm as Brighton welcome Spurs to the Amex Stadium.

After a hugely underwhelming start to his pair of fixtures in Saturday’s home loss to Man City, Harry Kane has the chance to atone against a Seagulls’ defence without a clean sheet in their last 12 attempts.

The Spurs striker was second only to Mohamed Salah by the narrowest of margins (18.28% vs 18.32%) for the armband, while over 71,000+ have played their Triple Captain chip as he looks to chase down the Liverpool winger in the race for the Golden Boot.

Kane starts this evening along with Christian Eriksen, while Son Heung-min returns to the teamsheet after featuring off the bench at the weekend.

Boasting a 17% ownership, the South Korean has four goals and an assist in his last four league starts. Along with another of tonight’s starters, Serge Aurier, he was on the scoresheet in a 2-0 win at Wembley when the two sides last met in Gameweek 17.

But Dele Alli owners are left with just a two-point haul from Double Gameweek 34, as the midfielder is left out altogether ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final against Man United.

Lucas Moura earns a rare start for the visitors out wide, as does Toby Alderweireld in defence, with Davinson Sanchez the man to make way.

They’ll look to rein in the Seagulls’ Glenn Murray, who was on the scoresheet in Saturday’s loss at Crystal Palace.

The veteran is in fine form in front of his own fans, firing five goals in his last six starts at the Amex Stadium.

I want to do some analysis on key players like, Kane, Salah, Sterling etc

Before I dive in I want to ask:

What would you chaps say is the “minimum” score you would find “acceptable” for a captaincy choice?

Im leaning towards 6 maybe 8?

      6
      That's

228 x2 from your captain over the season. Minimum

why do we bring in players in our teams? is it for points attained in the past or for prospective points?

the likes of Kane Alonso bavies

have been dreadful to own in the last 5 weeks. Amazing the kind of love they get on here.

    previous or prospective points????

A lot people go by history of alonso and bavies. Plus some over estimated Chelsea beacuse of last year. We need to quickly move on and accept every team has its time

I don't get this constant complaining about popular players. Kane has taken the most points out of any forward this season. Alonso has taken the second most points out of every defender. If these players are so bad to own, then what are the alternatives?

They've just been very disappointing at times, that's all.

Yay. Finally harry kane first shot on target in April. As timid and nervous as his form. Now doubtful to get him for hit vs Watford
