Arriving in the midst of a lukewarm Double Gameweek, the latest episode of the ScoutCast is more intent on looking ahead as the entire five-man crew press the button on the Free Hit chip.

We’re back to full strength, as Granville, Jonty, Andy and Az join me to discuss our approach to Gameweek 35’s slimline schedule, inspired by another round of your community questions.

That attacking riches on offer from Manchester City and Liverpool dominate the early chatter, as we give our take on the run-in targets least likely to suffer from rotation to feature for Free Hitters and the “chipless” this weekend.

We then pan for Gameweek 35 gold in less familiar territory, as we re-open the Coleman vs Baines debate ahead of their meeting with a Newcastle outfit perhaps already in flip-flops after four straight wins.

End of season template busters help round things off before we career into the regular weekend preview to offer early thoughts on the Gameweek armband.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday evening. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

In the context of rehearsing for Athletic Madrid, yes, but I'm not so sure after this GW. He'll then want to rotate and rest legs.

No one knows really. Arsene's mutterings have made the whole lineup even less predictable.

Think Auba will start up front and Laca should be rested for EL. Wenger can't take that risk imo.

I'm not confident but I'd be inclined to say Auba start too. It doesn't really make much sense what Wenger's saying, it's not often he/anyone 'rehearses' for the bigger game, it's typically you keep your best players fit, especially when the other competition (PL) is nothing to play for and you have a completely fit top striker (auba) who can't play Europa

It will backfire badly on him if he starts Laca and he gets injured. Although Welbeck is in good form, you still want all your strikers fit for the game of the season.

Single Players on the bench for my GW34 BB:

        Bench: Ryan 5, Sterling 10, Milivojevic 9, Mariappa 2 = 26

        DGW Players who rotated:

        Willian 4, Alli 2, Young 2, Morgan 1 = 9

91 points but could have been so much better.

Well... it's basically 8 points per player so of course it's good, and you definitely knew that.

I much prefer outright brag posts than humble ones. You can't be that stupid while playing a game that centres around mathematics to not be able to divide 31 by 4.

Does it makes sense to bring in two City mids? They are already champions. Maybe other player players will be more motivated.

          1. JohnnyMagrinho
              8 years, 1 month ago

              Motivated for what?

The only motivation left in the league is going to come from those teams embroiled in a relegation battle (although look at how pathetic Saints were tonight) and any team trying to solidify their top 4 status (although look at how pathetic Spurs have been in their last two).

No-one cares. I'd say City are more likely to try harder than anyone else because they can break records.

Everyone else just looks bored and fed up.

Yeah. Got 93 with BB but if all had played would have been well over the 100.

Sgw rivals had 70/80s so not a great return for all the planning.
