The curtailed Gameweek 35 concludes at Goodison Park tonight as Everton host Newcastle United in a fixture that has all the makings of a dead rubber.

The two teams are now surely safe from the threat of relegation and appear to be playing for Premier League prize money only over the remaining matches.

But from a Fantasy perspective, there is still interest in the Merseyside clash, with Free Hit managers investing in the likes of Jordan Pickford, Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman in their one-week refresh.

All start for the home side tonight.

Meanwhile, those without the chip at their disposal, likely take Magpies assets into this match, with Ayoze Perez, Kenedy and budget defender Paul Dummett among the most likely to feature in squads.

Indeed, Perez is the most signed player on show tonight, having commanded over 133,000+ transfers in ahead of Saturday’s deadline.

That follows a rich vein of form from the Spaniard which has produced three goals and three two assists from his last three Gameweek starts.

Perez sits behind Islam Slimani in the attack tonight, with the Algerian starting a Premier League match for Newcastle for the first time since his loan move from Leicester City.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Salah's number of PL goals this season over/under at the start of the season: 11.5.

    Benteke's was 13.5.........!

WGTA were the only ones to see Salah's potential back then: http://whogottheassist.com/prospecting-the-prospects-mohamed-salah/

People laughed at his projected score.

That's not what WGTA say. The calculation is just a guideline to be taken with a pinch of salt. I don't know if people really mocked them for it (probably you did), but anyone who reads the articles (you don't, I guess), knows how they make the calculations.

                They also say:

"it could be feasible to expect something around the 180 point mark from Salah this year.

                There are further considerations, though.

The first is cannibalised points, as Liverpool, through Mane, Phillipe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino, not to mention Adam Lallana and Gini Wijnaldum, too, have threat from across the attack."

                and

"I’m still likely to look at Mane, who is surely Liverpool’s main goal threat plus always an extra captaincy option, to begin with"

Mahrez vs Willian (last 4 PL starts)
Mahrez faced bha, NEW, bur, SOU
Willian faced CPA, TOT, WHU, sou

Willian has a higher XG (1.48 to 0.59), higher XA (1.19 to 0.64), almost double BPS (83 to 48), 15 goal attempts vs 6 of Mahrez, and 7 shots on target to Mahrez' 3. Willian also created 14 chances while Mahrez created 6.

Why are so many in favor of Mahrez over Willian this GW?

Mahrez is a type of player stats don't favor at all. Similar to vardy but they have pedigree to haul. Willian on the other hand has a lot of chances and never hauls and sometimes gets hauled off

Tbh will keep both for gw37 as fixtures are too good there unless I think I can nail down city mids apart from sterling

        1. stat
          8 years, 3 months ago

I think Mahrez is less likely to be rotated in DGW37 but I'll probably get rid of him because I won't be able to afford Sterling+Jesus if I get rid of Willian

Think u are a Kaku owner. Since I am a vardy owner to get both sterling and Jesus needs a -12 which I think is not worth. So mostly going sterling only

Yeah it probably was a defensive substitution but Willian was the one to go. I have both but I'm going to upgrade 1 to a city mid and at the moment it's going to be Willian because of the rotation risk. I'd like to keep both tbh though.

    just realised something

de gea : 17 Clean sheets
    ederson : 15 Clean sheets

with bravo unlikely to complete the 5 games for a prem medal and ederson/pep wanting to win the golden glove....on top of the great fix.... i'd say a city defender would be a good investment, however it seems only ederson will be the only guaranteed starter.
