Gameweek 36 comes to its conclusion as Spurs welcome Watford to Wembley in Monday’s 8pm kick-off.

After Mohamed Salah’s rare blank on Saturday, Harry Kane has the chance to shake up the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) standings tonight.

The second top captain pick (17.84%) for this round of fixtures, Kane was handed the armband by 54 of the top 100 managers heading into Gameweek 36.

He was also the most bought player, earning 241,000 new owners, and is again the top transfer in as the north London side prepare for Double Gameweek 37 clashes against West Brom and Newcastle.

Yet his form is hardly prolific, with just a single goal scored over his last six league outings.

By comparison, the Spurs midfield have been far more reliable.

Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-min have both scored four times over the same period, while Dele Alli has netted on three occasions and also supplied a trio of assists.

The Dane is the most captained of that trio, with 84,608 FPL managers backing him with the armband.

Son could be the big differential. Handed the captaincy by just 32,917 FPL managers, the South Korean international has averaged seven points per home match this season.

Furthermore, he served up two goals and an assist in the corresponding fixture with the Hornets last term.

I’m in exactly same position chasing 27 points and rival has Jesus and sterling and I don’t.

He can’t have kane as it will destroy his team so I will reluctantly TC kane and get some differential Man City mids to try and catch up. If sterling and Jesus go mad so be it but got to try something different now

Leading my main ML with 33 points after tonight - happy with that after a painful season. My only focus now is to wrap it up so would appreciate some thoughts on my prospects going forward.

    My team:
    - Already made two transfers for a -(4) - Sanchez & Vardy -> D. Silva & Jesus.
    - Have enough ITB for Alli -> Salah GW38.
    DDG, (Ryan)
    Davies, Azpilizueta, Morgan, (Tarkowski, Lowton)
    Sterling, D.Silva, Alli, Lingard (Cook)
    Kane, Jesus, Barnes

    My rival:
    - Has both TC and BB left, I only have TC.
    - 1FT, 2.0 ITB
    McCarthy, Fabianski
    Smalling, TAA, Masuaku, Fernandez, Long
    Salah, Pogba, Willian, Gundogan, Milivojevic
    Kane, Aubameyang, Wood

Laporte is more nailed for me. The league is wrapped up for them. Pep can give those who he might consider in his plans next season game time. But still, I have Jesus and Sterling (only because of his form I've kept). Would of avoided City defenders apart from Goalie.

Anyone else get stupidly lucky and only have three players blank this week?

94(-4) for me for GW Rank of 536. It's actually my birthday today too, so you know, I think that was present for this year.

Cannot believe how much luck I've just used up on FPL (only 3 of my players blanked). Would preferred to have won a grand on a scratchcard or something...

Somewhat tired/less aware at 1am. Funny that.

Got 65 (-8) was happy enough. Silva and laporte for rudiger n willian didn't really come off though!

Nice score. The amount of hits I've made this season that haven't come off have certainly hindered me so I know your pain.

Rudiger and Willian could be good choices for the DGW though, so might pay off in the end.

Am actually surprised at how well Chelsea have done the last few GWs after playing such awful football in the weeks before.

Ha, I know right. I guess we're all given one fantastic week per season.

Thanks mate. Too old to still be counting but I still do, just like everyone else..

Thoughts on will I an to xhaka to free up funds for bench boost. Decent recent stats and nailed on at 5.1

Also looking at bednarek as a 4.1 option at Southampton, is he nailed on?

              Cheers

Lemina or Ki better options imo.

I'm considering starting Mariappa over Morgan. Have no faith in Leicester what so ever.

                  To play or buy?

I can't see anything other than appearance points for either. Could see Arsenal beating Burnley quite heavily just because Burnley are pretty much guaranteed Europe now and after crashing out of the Europa League, Arsenal will probably be annoyed and look to bounce back in their next game. Plus, it's at the Emirates.

I'd prefer a Swansea defender myself, although, again, I wouldn't expect really high scores. Maybe a good single GW defender is better option.

Same predicament for me, think I'm going to start Morgan but doesn't expect much from either of them...

                What to do...
Willian or Son to Sterling for a -4?

7 assists in roughly 20x90 mins for trippier.

If he's 5m next year I'll probably get him and have a decent 1st defender sub. Wouldn't expect he'd come on loads as a sub.

I see alot of preferences for Vert? Is he really a better option than Bavies? Starts vs points? How about trips?

I have Davies and i think right now i wud rather have Vert for nailedness and Trip for goal threat, altho there isnt much in it.
Vert went close to scoring a few times today and i think people are being swayed by that too.

Hoping to better my DGW37 last year (had Kane TC) with this Bench Boost active

                Ederson Fabianski
                Azpilicueta Davies Smalling Dummett Bednarek
                Eriksen Alli B.Silva Ramsey Lingard
                Jesus Vardy Giroud

Playing catch up big-time after having a mare this season so plenty of differentials & going without Kane/Salah :/ but all 15 players have double GW’s!
