We now check in with the form of a number of Double Gameweek 37 candidates in our regular analysis of the members’ Opta data.

Man City’s attack shows no signs of complacency since clinching the title, while Southampton appear to have reason for optimism in their bid to beat the drop.

Meanwhile, we assess the recent showings of Spurs and Leicester’s frontmen, while Man United and Chelsea’s midfield make a late claim for our attention ahead of Friday evening’s deadline.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Anyone think Salah could drop twice before Friday? He absolutely bombed today, from about -60 to -95 as I type and obvs still going down. In fact, could he drop tonight?!

Not a problem, already have them both. Salah dropping like a stone makes his transfer to KDB much easier. Can get him back for 38 for free if I want if he drops twice ...

This year is the first year I haven't taken a hit all season and I find myself in the top 10K for the first time. Those -4 points are a killer.

Still feels wrong dropping Vardy when I have Murray.

    a) Vardy to Jesus
    b) Murray to Jesus, Alonso to 4.3 (e.g. Klavan, Masuaku) -4
    c) Murray to Jesus, Willian to 4.2 Mid (e.g. Romeu) -4

After Kane's shabby 1-goal performance last night I've drafted a none-Kane WC team with a few differentials. Don't think I'll be brave enough to pull the trigger on it though, but what do you think?

    Ederson
    Valencia Verto Alonso
    Sterling Salah Arnie Eriksen Hazard

    Apologies in advance for long post, advice required if you can be bothered to read it;

7 points in front at top of mini league so to say it's a fine margin would be an understatement. Main rival has Jesus and will most likely TC him. The following 12 point hit would bring me down to 5 points behind at start of GW37, however, going without Jesus could see me drop a lot further. The rest of my team is arguably stronger than his so I should make up the additional points elsewhere.

Valencia (may only play 1), Willian (may only play 1), Austin > Naughton, Tadic, Jesus (-12)

I'd only do this if i decide to TC Jesus. Crazy or worth gambling the short term loss of points? I dont care about OR, this is about ML victory 🙂

    Would leave:

    DDG (Ryan)
    Naughton, Davies, Morgan (Kiko, Lowton)
    Salah, Alli, Tadic, Sterling, Pogba
    Kane, Jesus (Barnes)

If Jesus explodes over those 2 weeks and my rival caps, challenge is over. I guess I could take a chance on Kane or Sterling and just hope they match him.

I wouldn't normally, tempted through 'fear' of a City striker being triple capped by main rival. It's taken me months to claw back the points as a non Aguero owner when rival capped him for the 4 goal and 3 goal haul.

No. I can see why you’re tempted, but in your ML position and with your team, I’d hold tight for sure. Jesus isn’t that explosive so while we could do well, he’s def not worth taking a -12 and losing those players

Hmm he rested players in the last game before FA cup semis. But that was because it was 3 days after gw34. Thinking he may rest players in the second dgw37 game and play a full first team for dgw38 to warm the players up for cup finals.

The big clubs hoarding talent is a huge factor in football being less attractive. The mid table teams are poorer for it.

I'd say 25% of games are enjoyable but I watch the vast majority of games involving the big teams especially when they play away

I need to find someone who looks at me the way Mark looks at Bharat.

    Excellent Scoutcast.

So much Sterling rotation talk tonight - enough to put me off!

Sterling (TC) a step too far?

I think he starts both games

Easily the most inform player in FPL and Pep loves him

I have a gut feeling he may start both as well.

Always a little worry that gut feeling is because I want him to start both rather than think he will

He's Pep's baby boy, no way he's rested IMO. I'm captaining fire sure

His statement about wanting to get up and take the penalty cements it even more

I think it's perfectly justifiable given his form. If he's going to be rotated, he could play the full 90 in the other match, giving him scoring time at the end of the game.

That said, I would still prefer to captain Jesus because There expected stats across the season haven't been wildly different, and I'm (we're expecting) him to get more total minutes across the DGW.

I can't get myself to TC him. My ship will go down with Kane.

Remember the Scoutcast when it was suggested Sanchez was the risk and not lukaku?

It could be the same here with sterling and Jesus!

Gutted you didn’t discuss Danilo TC

There was more talk of his rotation on the Scoutcast than there has been here the last few days.

I do think he sits one game out for B.Silva. I reckon Sané gets both games.

And how about GW38? Would Sane then be rotated there, or is B. Silva the only player threatening to start ahead of Sane and Sterling (and Jesus)?

I think Jesus is more likely to start both.

And they have a similar points capability when they are on the pitch

        Therefore thinking jesus

    Kane Ayew Jesus

    B
    Ederson
    Alonso Vert Valencia
    Eriksen Salah Sterling Arnie Hazard
    Jesus Ayew

    C
    Ederson
    Alonso Smalling Naughton
    Eriksen Salah Sterling Arnie Hazard
