We now check in with the form of a number of Double Gameweek 37 candidates in our regular analysis of the members’ Opta data.

Man City’s attack shows no signs of complacency since clinching the title, while Southampton appear to have reason for optimism in their bid to beat the drop.

Meanwhile, we assess the recent showings of Spurs and Leicester’s frontmen, while Man United and Chelsea’s midfield make a late claim for our attention ahead of Friday evening’s deadline.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

OK, going to pull the trigger, just posting one more time just so I don't walk into another D. Silva situation like last week 🙂

    Bailly, Salah & Barnes - > Van Der Hoorn, Sterling & Jesus (-8) Yay/Nay?

Ill probably do Willian - > Arnautovic (-4) too but not tonight

        Not without a hit.

Vardy and Leicster are on their holidays it seems. I'd probably prefer Barnes yes. Been impressed with him. Vardy has a tendency to always come back to bite you though. At least in my experience

VDH is not a necessity, surely? A cheaper defender than him could buy you some time.

I looked at VDH when I wildcarded last week. I remember his minutes being sporadic.

        Hey man! 🙂

Yeah, I think I prefer Fernandinho because he's much more likely to play twice (unless Pep says something which implies Gundogan should start both). I think David Silva will be back for the Brighton match and even Toure may be handed a start. Gundogan's stats are marginally better but Fernandinho holds his own. Penalty area touches are almost identical and Fernandinho even comes out on top on assist potential.

      2. Prøfeßör …

      03/05 - Europa League
      06/05 - Premier League (BUR)
      09/05 - Premier League (LEI)
      13/05 - Premier League (HUD)
16/05 - Europa League Final (IF Arsenal Progress)

The breaks (including Thursday match) are:
      3 Days > 3 Days > 4 Days > 3 Days

In any scenario, I'm waiting to see the outcome of the Atletico match. If Arsenal progress, Ramsey is a no-go. Even if they do not, I can see Wenger playing Ramsey in the final game; maybe one of the the DGW fixtures.

I feel with the fixtures, one of the BUR/LEI match he may be rested with.

I'm surprised people are so averse to taking a hit or two for this DGW. Of course it's always a risk, but it can pay dividends. For example last week I did:

    Lukaku/Mahrez/Bailly > Jesus/Sterling/Davies (-8).

It gained me 16 points and a better lineup for the DGW. Bit of luck with Lukaku, but we're all playing the odds.

Not averse to anything, just a simple case of whether B(-4) outscores A for me. If that applies to each hit, I'd even take a -20.

No hits for me this week, but I took a -8 last week instead just like you in preparation.

I did Valencia and Gross to Naughton and Sane.
    Good move?

I don't think Gross will do anything against United and City. Max 4 points on him.
Valencia maybe one cs against Brighton, 8 points on him.

Think Naughton could get an assist and maybe 2 CS. It possible Swansea will play good this DGW.

If Sane play both games I think he could easily get 15-20 points.

I am but I’m ranked 100k so hoping he can be a differential & make up ground.

    out: Salah VVD
    In: Sane Smalling

    Already on -4
I have enough money to bring in Salah for gw 38 without any hit

If I do Milli > Arnie for another -4 I won't be able to bring in Salah without a hit.

So does this move really worth it?

    DDG
Vertonghen, Otamendi, Fernandez (Morgan if injured)
    Sterling, Son, Kenedy, Salah, Mili
    Kane, Jesus (TC)

Have 1FT, I’m chasing so thinking Salah -> Hazard then reversing it for GW38 also for free?

Which mid is the best to replace Willian? Already own Sterling, Salah, Lingard, King
    8.4m to use

Son was my plan till yesterday's performance. Thinking most of Silva or Arnie now

Silva (maybe a risk because he was or is in Spain), Pogba or Arnautovic. Sane is more than 8.4.

I don't fancy doubling up mids from United. Pogba hurt me roughly before.
