We now check in with the form of a number of Double Gameweek 37 candidates in our regular analysis of the members’ Opta data.

Man City’s attack shows no signs of complacency since clinching the title, while Southampton appear to have reason for optimism in their bid to beat the drop.

Meanwhile, we assess the recent showings of Spurs and Leicester’s frontmen, while Man United and Chelsea’s midfield make a late claim for our attention ahead of Friday evening’s deadline.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Anyone reckon it's worth getting rid of Morgan for a -4?

Was going to but just seen G-Whizz's stats and making me reconsider.

Not so keen on going Swans def as I reckon both those games will have goals

Could get an attacking defender in like mawson, cedric, naughton etc. so that if even there are goals scored there's a potential for some returns

I'm in the opposite camp, I see Southampton-Swansea as a very tight and nervy affair with neither team willing to give away much. But then again luckily I don't have to play Morgan!

It’s such a shame the Chelsea’s game against Huddersfield isn’t before the Liverpool one.

If Chelsea lose to Liverpool or even draw, they haven’t really got anything to play for. Conte showed last season how much he’s willing to rotate in the midweek double gameweek game before the FA Cup, by fielding a second string team. Meaning his first team only plays one game per week for the weeks leading up to the final. Surely the final is his main priority to leave on a high.

I really wanted to punt on bringing in Hazard (I’m chasing) and captaining him but as far as I can see, he’s not guaranteed to play both games. Does anything suggest he will?

I've had him for too long and was liking him as a smokey captain this week, maybe not anymore.

The 2nd game on DGW will be their last home match. That's the only positive factor that I can think about Chelsea field strong team.

So with no chips left I have 11 dgwers

Not worth it, you're betting that a DGWer will get 0 minutes from 2 games, which is very unlikely imo

Certainly not worth it. It’s unlikely players with two fixtures (unless injured) will not get at least some minutes from two matches. It’s very very unlikely your bench comes into play, it would be madness to take a hit for that scenario.

    Time for bold moves:Transfers done:

    Salah + Willian + VVD > Eriksen + Sane + Vert. for - 4pts.

I also have Sterling, Jesus(C), Kane. Hence 3 Spurs and 3 City.

    12 DGWs + Bench Boost.

currently around 26k OR and 36 points off top 10K.

Good luck to all those taking risks for a better OR.

I’ve took the bullet and made my transfers. Early I know, risky I know. But I didn’t want to talk myself out of them by over thinking. I’m chasing and if I don’t take a risk now I’m going no where anyway. I’m now lined up on my bench boost with a full house (15) double gameweekers:

    Ederson
    Davies / Mustafi / VdH
    Hazard (c) / Sterling / Mahrez / Tadic
    Kane / Jesus / Ayew

    Ryan / Kenedy / Simpson / Dummett

Thanks. If I wasn’t chasing I’d perhaps have a very different team but at least having the likes of Hazard and Tadic gives me something to cheer in my ML’s should they get anything as it’s almost certain none of my rivals will have them.

Even Mahrez, if he can get so points on the board is now a differential.

Potentially. I’ve had a tough/poor season so I’m sitting at 50k and I’m no longer too bothered about OR as it will end up poor regardless.

The incentive is more that I’m fairly certain none of my rivals will own Hazard so he could be the difference between being in the money or not.

I like it, especially the ballsy captain pick.

Yeah it’s certainly a worry should Liverpool win. I’m just hoping Chelsea’s improved form along with Liverpool’s recent downturn in the PL can continue.

Although by the end of GW38 I certainly want Liverpool to finish in the top 4 at the expense of Chelsea.

I like (and own) Ayew, so I’ll say yes. But that’s only because I’ve had him a lot this season and he’s done well for me. It’s a coin toss in reality, but in these cases I always like the player with two roles of the dice. Although Barnes’ great form is worrying.

Also if you don’t do the move, Barnes is a better pick in one game than Carroll in two still. Take of the DGW tinted glasses.

Morning, hour to kill at work!
Firstly I should say that mini league is my main priority and leading by 40. TC left, main rival does not have Salah.

    DDG
Alonso Chilwell Dummet Van De Horn
    Salah Son Mahrez Gross
    Kane (TC) Jesus

Ryan Young Lowton Barnes 1FT 1.1M ITB

    Plan is
    A. Salah to Sterling (next week Mahrez to Salah) Any other ideas?
    Question
    B. Anything else for hit? Has to be in the same price range if so, money itb for proposed move above only leaves 0.3

Any thought on A and B really welcome. Will get on with answering others now. Thanks

Salah > Sterling a must have. I did Salah (no return) > Eriksen as I have Sterling. I planned my moves to cover Salah's GW38:
      Willian + Slah + VVD > Erik + Sane + Vert (-4pts)

Gross > Arnie or Mahrez out (if you no longer want Salah).

Zaha out is a really strange one imo. He is absolutely ripping it up atm

I am using my bench boost. I am 50 points behind my mini league leader so happy to gamble a little if best.

    I own..

    Salah
    Long
    Tarkowski
    Lowton

    I have 1 FT. I own 3 Man City.

How many of the 4 would you be looking to trade?

I don’t think it’s worth a hit. If Willian plays v Huddersfield you may be annoyed.

      No. Ramsey won't play both.
