Once again Antoine Griezmann (£10.0m) is the go-to Fantasy option as France get ready for their second match of the World Cup.

However the Atletico Madrid striker has lost some of his owners to those scrambling to get Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.0m) and Diego Costa (£9.0m) in their sides.

Griezmann went into the Australia match owned by 25 percent of managers, he starts today in just 23.2 percent of squads despite winning a penalty and converting it in Gameround 1.

Just under nine percent opted to cover the France attack at a cheaper rate with Kylian Mbappe (£9.0m).

Budget option N’Golo Kante remains a popular asset with 20 percent ownership while some Fantasy managers are sure that France will keep their first clean sheet of the tournament today.

Raphael Varane (£6.0m) is in 14.7 percent of squads while Hugo Lloris (£6.0m) and Samuel Umtiti (£6.0m) are in 12.4 and 10.6 respectively.

Despite missing his penalty against Denmark, Christian Cueva (£6.0m) is the still the most-owned Peruvian asset, in two percent of squads.

With penalty-taking duties still an important factor in his appeal, he also registered nine touches in the opposition box in Gameround 1, more than any other midfielder at the tournament so far.

THE STARTING LINE-UPS

FRANCE XI (4-3-3): Lloris, Pavard, Varane, Umtiti, Hernández; Pogba, Kanté, Matuidi; Griezmann, Mbappé, Giroud

PERU XI (4-2-3-1): Gallese; Advincula, Rodriguez, Ramos, Trauco; Aquino, Yotun; Flores, Cueva, Carrillo; Guerrero.

Peru look destined to be one of those good teams who end up going home...meanwhile France destined to be one of those poor teams who get another go...

    Cruel game.

France don't manage games well, but they have been better than Peru. Peru have lots of energy, but when did that win you games?

I mean look at that chance just now. Overhitting the pass into the box and then the guy overhits the cross. That basically sums up Peru IMO. Try hard, but lack the finesse and quality to make a mark.

They didn’t play terrible all tournament! They played to their strength and scored goals.
This France team has played terribly both games. I’m not asking you to agree, I’m just saying it how it is. They’ll be out in the quarters.

Thanks ! Just cant see us turning things around. When your best players cant string few passes togheter and the whole team is running at one rather slow pace for the whole game you must be worried. I think they must have mess up the pre-camp and players are simply too tired to play.

Every one of those is out of the cup though, whereas Poland have everything in their own hands. Dont matter how you do it as long as you do it.

True but all this teams put up a fight against bigger opposition and made their fans proud.
Polish players crumbled under pressure and lost a sunday league goal, and whats worst the didnt even lookef like trying towards the end.

Hard to predict WC games tbh as these matchups hardly happen in competitive games.

Germany Mexico being a prime example. Mex got thrashed by Germany last year at the confed cup but win at a high stakes WC game
