Josh King, Charlie Daniels, Junior Stanislas, Nathan Ake: Bournemouth players have mostly been good to Fantasy managers since the club’s promotion to the Premier League in 2015, offering decent returns for minimal investment.

Last season’s offerings were something of a disappointment from a Fantasy perspective, however, with no Bournemouth player reaching double figures for goals, assists or clean sheets.

King scored half as many goals (eight) as he managed in 2016/17, while Jordan Ibe’s total of six assists was the best any Cherries player could muster.

The Bournemouth defence was particularly porous, meanwhile, keeping only six clean sheets (a league-low shared with relegated Stoke City) in their 38 league matches.

Part of Bournemouth’s appeal from a Fantasy standpoint is that by now we mostly know what to expect from the south coast side. Eddie Howe is the longest-serving manager in the Premier League, following Arsene Wenger’s departure from Arsenal, having been on the books at the Vitality Stadium for well over five years. Many of Bournemouth’s players have also been with the club for an extended period: King, Daniels, Stanislas, Ryan Fraser, Adam Smith, Simon Francis, Steve Cook and Callum Wilson, among others, have featured in all three seasons that the Cherries have spent in the top flight.

While Howe’s formation is far from settled, having flip-flopped between a conventional back four and a three-man defence last season, the Cherries’ mantra remains comfortingly consistent: attack and attack some more.

I am backing a Belgium vs England final so could work out nicely! Why not go Kdb instead if Carrasco and drop one of Coutinho/Isco if you don't care anymore 🙂

I don’t fancy doubling up on the England def and prefer a fullback over a cb so Strinic over Lovren for me

      Lovren.

Strinic so far 0 shots, 0 key passes.
Lovren has had one shot in the box and benefits from modric/rakitic set piece delivery

Strinic for me think Croatia more chance of a cs than England and feel he's slightly more chance of an assist than lovren, really not much between the two of them though

    Currently on BB with this:

    Ronaldo / Costa / Hazard
    Lingard / Modric / Coutinho / Claesson / Quintero
    Pavard / Carvajal / Strinic / Miranda / Granqvist
    Courtois / Olsen

have a good feeling with ronaldo,
    bit unsure with costa,
bit insecure for not having kane,
and still looking for another option if pavard not playing.

    gtg?

Why do you have a good feeling with Ronaldo? Are you not a tad worried given Uruguay haven't conceded a goal yet.. I'd so much rather have Kane.
Still, looks fab overall, just make sure to check the France starting lineup

haven't conceded a goal against salah-less egypt, arab saudi, and 10-men-russia. Guess it's about time they conceded some goals, and ronaldo seems the right man for it.

How come many going for Granquist over R Rod?

I guess G is cheaper, but the extra funds I can’t use to improve the team in anyway due to the sheer lack of mid priced midfielders apart from Lingard.

I’m trying to do that but want 4 England and then my defence is this

        Rrod. Maguire. Trippier. Ramos. Meunier.

Maybe I could replace Meunier or wait for next week to get Maguire.

I've gone without Meunier - I think he's a great option, and had him for the groups, but with lots of other good cheaper options I've opted to save the cash, and still have defenders with attacking capabilities.

That's not to say what I've done is correct - it could easily backfire - but that's a little bit of my reasoning.

            Kane Lingard Maguire and trippier.

I have Kane and Maguire - really fancy Lingard but would mean losing one of Coutinho, Isco, Modric.

I suspect a little bit Coutinho may have been over performing, and could drop him... Brazil's goals tend to be shared out a little more...

Still feels silly to drop him though

    Kane/Costa/Lukaku (or Hazard)

    A) Subasic/4.5 def (akanji/dasgaard)
    B) R Rodriguez/Olsen(Sommer)
    C) is really just a punt of Lukaku or Hazard, just a guess really, probably Hazard will be fitter.

    Repost

Playing on a local game and have 4 FTs. Pick one:

    A. Ronaldo + Lewandowski + Eriksen + Hector —> Lukaku + Kane + Quintero + Vida
    B. Lewandowski + Eriksen + Marcelo + Hector —> Kane + Modric + Vida + Granqvist

    Current team:
    Ronaldo - Cavani - Lewandowski
    Coutinho - Isco - Eriksen
    Marcelo - Meunier - Ramos - Hector
    Pickford

    Thanks guys!

    Help needed...

    A. Kane (COL) and Suarez (POR) or
    B. Costa (RUS) and Neymar (MEX)

Captaincy shifts work well in option A... But better fixtures for option B forwards.

A or B? Appreciate your view. Thanks.

A for me, mainly because of Kane. Suarez also appears to be looking like a differential at this point, which could be very nice

I could hold off on Maguire for a round and only go 3 England.

    Muslera 3.9
    Rrod. Ramos. Granq. Trippier. Meunier.
    Modric. Cout. Quintero. Sanchez. Lingard
    Griez Kaku Kane

    Instead of

    Allison 3.9
    Rrod. Ramos. Maguire. Trippier. Meunier.
    Modric. Cout. Inui. Lingard. Sanchez.
    Griez. Kaku. Kane

    Basically granq over Maguire
    Quintero over Inui
    Muslera over Alison.

Why not go Pickford then instead of Allison if you think they will go all the way?

The thing I like with Maguire and trippier is goal threat almost more than CS

How can you double check your bench boost has been played? Clicked the box, pressed confirm and it's greyed out. That good right?
