      I think FPLstatistics is more precise, although I much prefer some of the (free) features on FFFIX, as you can see price predictions for your “my squad” etc.

                I know because I did the exact same thing. I'm holding onto Bavies though and just taking the risk of no price rise. Long term you've probably made the correct decision but I don't know if I can stomach a double digit return from Bavies.

                Hurts even more when your mate thinks he's a genius for pick Mendy. :/

            Yeah I also thought Arsenal would score and do better against City hence starting with Davies instead. I always had a plan to get Mendy eventually just not as soon as this due the large swing in the results between them.

          I’m sorry but that makes no sense. Bavies has Fulham and could easily be in points. Of course Mendy is good shout but I think you’re taking risk which could spectacularly backfire

            Yeah I get that. It’s a risk I’m willing to take long term. Checking the stats there’s not much between them but Spurs’ fixtures aren’t great after Fulham and I will get priced out of Mendy if he rises. Anyway I fancy Fulham scoring against Spurs more than Huddersfield against City.

      If it was me, I would have definitely bought Mendy. Definitely. But, I would not have sold Davies. I would have sold someone else, taken a hit, whatever.

      Good move I would say. Could pay off short term with City's fixtures. Plus he has more attacking potential since City will score more goals. That being said, did a Smalling > Mendy myself.

      I got mendy in advance just in case I am priced out.
      A bit sick I did not get him gw1 I did not think he would do THAT well, and thought Arsenal had a good chance of scoring.

      I've used my FT on Costa>Rich even though I relentlessly bagged him pre season. I owned him for majority of his scoring last season and jumped off early I think GW3-16. What concerns me is he carries his woeful home form (1 in 19) some players just operate better home or away based on alternating setups

        I got him because he's a "safe" £6.5m and with Zaha's dribbling/diving there's always a chance of a pen. Was a short term pick until someone with better value and form emerges

          They were awarded more penalties than any other team last season I think so regression inevitable. He did 2 key passes as many as any other Palace player. Seems like week 1 no penalty and he's on the chopping block?

      I had Mili for the same reason. Placeholder for the 6.5m player. I think its going to be Maddison. But I went to Richarlison for the price rise this week. I will switch to Maddison in 2-3 weeks. I might also switch to Pedro if he keeps his starting position.

      Tbh tough to judge at this stage. Mane has always been troubled by injuries. If he manages to stay fit, can really b a good option this season.

      I love the mane pick this year, I think he'll have a big season. That being said, it's hard to go against what the stats say. KBD has been 199+ over the last two years, as has Eriksen. I actually went Eriksen over Mane and I still strongly believe Eriksen will outscore Mane by the end of the season, barring injuries to any player
