I’m joined by Andy, Az and new Scoutcast face Neale (aka Skonto Rigga) to separate the wheat from the chaff in the Fantasy Premier League’s transfer market.

We ponder whether reports of the demise of forwards have been greatly exaggerated and list the under-performing players from Gameweek 1 who may well punish their sellers.

Our rough with the smooth round-up features a tale of two benches.

While later in the show I come under attack from my colleagues, and even a moth, as we search for this season’s budget midfield gem.

    Is it worth doing Robertson & Alexis -> Bellerin & Sterling ahead of GW 3 given that Arsenal and City have better upcoming fixtures than United and Pool.
    Also, who is the best 5.5 Arsenal to sign right now, considering both point potential and security of starts? Are Bellerin and Monreal's places under threat from Lichsteiner?

    When should I play my wildcard gameweek 4 or gameweek 5

      Play it when you think your team needs it most. If you want to bring in players and would take minus 8 or more thats a good time. Some like to do it on International breaks to cover injuries and try and catch price rises, but if your team is in a good state I would hang on.
